There are plenty of hotels, eateries, and homes in Danang that provide views of the International Fireworks Festival, but they are not free.
This evening, June 8, is the opening night of the Danang Fireworks International Festival.
Nearly 10,200 seats, double that of 2023, are available in the festival viewing stands, and all of the tickets for the last night have been sold.
On Tran Hung Dao Street, many residences, hotels, and eateries charge for their views.
Of the 200 rooftop seats at the Salem Hotel, about 100 have been reserved. The price per seat is VND 500,000 (USD 19.64).
During the opening ceremony of the festival, a child will cost VND1.2 million and an adult VND2 million at another hotel on Tran Hung Dao Street. A buffet is included in the fee. On the 12th level of the hotel, there are just 40 chairs.
A property on Tran Hung Dao Street belongs to Vu Huy, who stated he had 50 rooftop seats available for VND300,000, which included some complimentary beverages.
"Guests don't have to climb stairs because my house has an elevator. Huy continued, "Many individuals have paid deposits to secure their seats.
Rooftop seats have become the best places to view the fireworks because the Han River sidewalk, particularly the section directly across from the fireworks display, is strictly enforced to prohibit unauthorized encroachment.
There are around 1,285 tourist lodging facilities in the city, totaling 45,672 rooms, according to the Danang Department of Tourism. It is anticipated that the occupancy rate for hotels by the sea would be over 67 percent on the first night of the fireworks celebration, and over 80 percent for hotels by the river. On the day of opening, a few three-star hotels are completely reserved.
The eight participating teams are from France, Italy, the US, Germany, Poland, China, Finland, and Vietnam. The tournament is set to conclude on July 13.
