Bach Ma National Park Tours is a collection of Vietnam best hikes we arrange in Bach Ma National Park, Thua Thien Hue province, central Vietnam.
Bach Ma National Park is located in central Vietnam in the province of Thua Thien Hue, around 700 km south of the country’s capital Hanoi and 1000 km north of Ho-Chi-Minh-City (Saigon). The national park covers an area of about 22,000 ha in the districts of Phu Loc and Nam Dong. Bach Ma mountain peak is the highest point in the park at 1450 m above sea level and is only 18 km away from the coast. With steep mountains and dense forests Bach Ma national park is home to a wide variety of animals and plants, offering best hiking trails in the central region of Vietnam.
The first hike is short, lasting approximately 20 minute to the ‘top’ of the mountain where the bell is. Great views! The second hike is to the five “lakes” – these are really pools of water in a stream and not really lakes. This is about 30 minutes one way and very pretty. Another 30-45 minutes to the top of the waterfall and this is definitely worth the hike. Another hour to get back to the parking lot, so a total of 2 hours.
