Day 1: Welcome to Hanoi!

Flight: International flight on your own arrangement

Welcome to Vietnam! Upon arrival, your local tour guide and driver will welcome you at the airport then escorts you to hotel. Check in hotel and rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour – Discover the capital city of Vietnam

Meals: B / L

Hanoi, capital of Vietnam, oriental style old buildings, luxuriant trees along street, local market, motor-bikes, etc, A city tour in Hanoi will give you the first impression of oriental.

In the city tour, you will visit the  Hochiminh Mausoleum and his former, the One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, Vietnam useum of Ethnology or Vietnam History Museum, Hoan Kiem Lake and a Cyclo tour to the old quarter of Hanoi.

Finish your day off at the Thang Long Opera Theatre for a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show.

Day 3: Hanoi/Cruise along Halong Bay

Start at 8:00 am with private transfer to Halong City. Upon arrival, you will board the cruise ship for a relaxing Halong Bay Cruise through the stunning Halong Bay. Savor a delectable lunch as V’Spirit Classic cruises among the limestone islands. Explore the amazing Sung Sot Cave– the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. Cruising to Titov Island. Go swimming and relaxing at the beach of Titov or climb up to the top of the island for a panorama view of Halong Bay. Day 4: Halong Bay/Return to Hanoi

Wake up to Tai Chi exercises on the sun deck and continue cruising the bays. Breakfast buffet will be served in the restaurant, followed by a visit the limestone grotto. Disembark in Halong City around noon and transfer back to Hanoi. You will be transfer to train station and travel to Sapa.

Day 5: Arrive in Lao Cai, Sapa—Stunning mountain view and terrace fields, primitive villages

Meals: B / L

Arrive in Lao Cai railway station in early morning around 6:30 am. You guide will pick you up from the train and then escort you to your hotel in the highland town Sapa. Enjoy breakfast in hotel and have a short rest. Take a short walk of 6 km from Sapa to Black H’mong village of Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai where excellent panoramas of the larger valley, paddy terraced fields and the H’mong village are offered. Follow a small local path leading to the bottom of the valley with some stalls serving tea and fruits and a spot perfect for a rest and lunch. After lunch,visit the Giay people of Ta Van in the middle of the Muong Hoa valley.

Day 6: Half Day Fun Farming Activities

Wake up in the morning, follow the home stay family to the fields to help them with farm work. You will experience their local life and learn how to do farm works in this mountain village. After breakfast, continue trekking towards Red Dao village in Giang Ta Chai. On the way you will trek uphill and downhill then through bamboo forest. Stop at the village of Giang Ta Chai after following a path and a simple bridge. Enjoy lunch by a waterfall, just before arriving at the village. Finally, trek to return to the hill of Hau Thao village and back to Hanoi from there by Tonight, you will board the overnight train for heading back to Hanoi.

Day 7: Flight to Danag and transfer to Hoi An

This morning you will arrived in Hanoi train station. Then transfer to Hanoi airport and flight to Danang and transfer to Hoi An.  

Day 8: Century Cham Ruins and Hoi An Ancient Port Town

In the morning, travel to the My Son Holy Land. Tucked in the mountains up winding roads with serene views, the 4th century My Son Holy Land ruins. The surrounding mountains are strictly forbidden for living or development. The ruins lie in a beautiful mountainous landscape. Enter the temples to hear all about the history and stories of the Cham people and this holy site. 

In the afternoon, continue on to the Ancient Capital of Hoi An, which features the 16th century port town in its preserved state. Visit the Museum of Trade Ceramics which houses art and pottery dating from the 1,500’s to the 1,700’s. Continue on a brief visit the Chua Ong Pagoda, a temple from the 17th century featuring China's influence in the region. Enter the Ancient Town as the streets take on a magic of their own with old lanterns, French-style houses, intricately carved wooden doors and more Take a walk through the Old Tam Ky House to see it's imperial styles meshed with French overtures. Continue on to stroll along the river and see traditional boats and locals on bicycles passing by. You'll then approach the Japanese Covered Bridge which for centuries connected the Chinese and Japanese sides of town over the waterway. The old wooden structure has shown amazing resilience for more than 400 years.

At dusk, enjoy walking along the riverside as colorful lanterns light up the town. Then return to your hotel for an evening of relaxation.

Day 9: Flight to Saigon

Day 10: Best of Saigon

Today, transfer to airport for flight to Saigon, upon arrive, you will start to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. Discover these amazing systems developed by the guerrillas fighting in the Vietnam War. You'll have an opportunity to see the various weapons used in the war on display. Then learn about the innovative ways the guerrillas survived and fought back in the war. The impressive underground system they built remains to tell the story of the Vietnam War.

In the afternoon, see the highlights of Saigon and learn the history of these iconic landmarks.

You’ll explore some of the most important sights in Ho Chi Minh. Start by visiting the Notre Dame Cathedral. Constructed by French colonists during their settlement, discover its significance as the largest cathedral in Southeast Asia. Across the road is the Old Saigon Post Office, a neoclassical architectural building considered one of the main attractions in the city. Visit the Reunification Palace, home of South Vietnam’s President during the war. Then stop is Cholon, the Chinatown in Ho Chi Minh. Explore the thickly settled district rife with tea-houses and pagodas, and the famous Binh Tay Market.  Finish the afternoon with a visit to the Emperor Jade Pagoda. Also known as the Tortoise pagoda, this figurine-filled place of worship is considered by many to be Saigon's finest.

Day 11: Mekong Delta Discovery: | Flight to Phnom Penh

Discover the Mekong River, essential to Vietnamese life.

This morning, transfer to remote My Tho. This burgeoning capital rests in the Mekong Delta and is surrounded by beautiful countryside known as the "rice basket of Vietnam". First visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, decorated with mosaics made from broken pottery. Overlooked by a tall white Buddha, it is set amongst lovely gardens overflowing with flowers, shrubs, lotus pools and tombs and ornate gates which provide entry. Continue on a boat ride along the river to view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages.

After lunch, visit An Khanh, a small village that specializes in fruit orchards and coconut sweets. If time permits, you can take a short cycling trip through the island or explore the island on foot (the island is flat and relatively small).  Return to Saigon for your flight this evening to Phnom Penh.

Day 12: Phnom Penh Highlight

Start the day with a car to visit the Silver Pagoda which has 5,000 silver tiles on the floor and a visit to the Royal Palace where the Khmer royal family lives. You will also visit the National Museum where you will see the large collection of Khmer history, arts and architecture.  

In the afternoon, head straight to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum to delve into the disturbing past of the country. Accompanied by your knowledgeable guide, browse poignant exhibitions then head to the verdant environs of the city to see the impressive Choueng Ek Memorial, a pagoda constructed out of 8,000 human skulls excavated from the Killing Fields.

Day 13: Phnom Penh – Kep - Kompot - Sihanoukville by Private car

Your driver will meet you at the hotel for the 3 hours journey from Phnom Penh to Kep, famous for delicious crab and other fresh seafood sold along the beachfront restaurants at the Crab Market.

Continue to the sleepy riverside town of Kampot famous for the pepper grown here, colonial architecture and the lively local markets.

Next visit Bokor Mountain, once a resort town but now mainly a deserted ghost town with eerie ruins to explore and photograph.  On a clear day enjoy panoramic views of the Cambodian Coastline and Vietnam's Phu Quoc Island from the summit.

A short drive down the coast takes you to Sihanouk Ville, named after King Norodom Sihanouk, lies along a beautiful peninsula overlooking the Gulf of Thailand with white sandy beaches and tropical islands off its south and west coast. After Check in the hotel is free to enjoy the beach and relax.

Day 16: Temple Touring Full Day

Breakfast is at hotel. We depart hotel at 8.00am for full day guided Angkor exploration, start with the south gate of Angkor Thom atop 4 giant faces, stroll to explore Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces in stone, admired by interesting temples including Baphuon, Phimeanakas, terrace of leper king, terrace of elephant & Ta Prohm temple adorned with the stunning tree roots where Lara Croft Tomb Raider was filmed. 

After lunch, continue to witness the marvelous Angkor Wat – the world’s heritage listed by UNESCO in 1992 and the largest monument in the world. Unlock the amazing history, its ancestral incredible, architectural masterpieces and the finest carvings dates back to the Khmer Empire when it dominated the largest parts of Southeast Asia. On your way back to Siem Reap, enjoy the sunset from the top of the pyramid-shaped temple of Pre Rup.

Day 17: Tonle Sap Lake, Kompong Phluk, Ox cart ride – Flight to Luang Prabang

In the morning, a half day excursion to the biggest Southeast Asia’s largest fresh water lake—Tonle Sap Lake. You’ll take a fun ox cart ride through the countryside, continue on a boat trip to enjoy the beautiful lake views and mangrove forests. Spend rest of the morning at Kompong Phluk, the largest village on the lake, to discover the fascinating daily lifestyle of the local people who live on the water.

Afternoon you will transfer to airport for flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival in Luang Prabang escort you to hotel.

Day 18: Luang Prabang : Buddhist Ancient City and Temple

After breakfast, driving toward the ancient city of Luang Prabang. Upon arrival, you will start a visit to the Royal Palace Museum (closed on Tuesday), which hosts a range of interesting artifacts. See the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground and representing classical Laotian architecture. Visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham.

In the afternoon, Visit the Arts and Ethnology Centre to learn about Laos’ many ethnic cultures before heading out of town to see the weaving villages of Ban Xiengkhong and Ban Xienglek. Later this afternoon return to the city for a visit to Wat Mai. Finally climb to the top of Mount Phousi to explore the sacred, gilded stupa and a sunset view of the city and the Mekong River.

Day 19: Boat Trip to Pak Ou Caves / Khouang Si Waterfall - Flight to Vientiane

This morning, embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River. Along the way, stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where Laos rice wine and rice whiskey is produced. . You'll be able to try some and learn about the process used to make it. Then on to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves filled with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. 

Lunch will be served near the caves. You'll have the opportunity to try a local dish called "Orlam" which is a soup with vegetables and features a spicy wood that is partially edible. On return, disembark to visit the traditional weaving village of Ban Phanom, famous for its hand woven textiles.

Continue to explore the beautiful Khouang Si Waterfall where you can cool off with a refreshing swim in the pools or walk along the forest trails. After the tour you will transfer to airport and flight to Vientiane.

Day 20: Vientiane City Highlights

Vientiane, the charming capital city of Laos with rich heritage of Buddhist culture, is waiting for you to discover.

You full day city tour will take you to visit the highlights of Vientiane. Your will firstly get to know some more history of Laos by visiting the temple Wat Sisaket which is the oldest surviving temple with thousands of Buddhist images. The temple Wat Prakeo which housing the famous Emerald Buddha image really amazed the Indochina tour makers. Your full day Vientiane city tour will also visit the symbolic site That Luang Stupa and Patuxay Monument.

In the afternoon Buddha Park and enjoy a stroll around the park. Also known as Xieng Khuan, this unusual park is filled with over 200 Buddhist and Hindu statues. The quiet and tranquil setting along the Mekong River is a contrast to the slightly eccentric sculptures which were built in 1958 by a Laos shaman. The concrete sculptures are unique and intriguing, sitting majestically in the peaceful park. After Buddha Park start driving back to Vientiane. The rest of the day is free at your leisure.

Day 21: Flight to Mandalay

Day 22: Amarapura and Mandalay

Our guide and driver will pick up to you at 08:30AM and drive to U Bein Bridge. After that keep going to Mahagandayon Monastery in Amarapura is one of the biggest and most important monasteries in Myanmar. After a short visit to the monastery’s premises, the guests will be invited to serve rice and cakes to the center of the monastery from around 10:00 to monks passing by in queue. The ceremony takes place daily in the 10:30 AM. You will be joined by locals as they make their offerings, thus the donation is non-inclusive

At the afternoon, we’ll visit to mysterious “Maha Muni Buddha”, the most revered Buddha image in Myanmar. Being the most holy pilgrimage site, a rite of visiting pilgrims is to apply gold leaf to the statue. The result of this has left the statue distorted in some areas, namely the chest where there is 6 inches of gold leaf.

Mandalay Hill is the best place to introduce Mandalay city, to catch a glimpse in the morning or enjoy sun set, before or after your day touring. Nearby there are also many remarkable sights like the Golden Palace Monastery with its exquisite wood carvings, Kuthodaw pagoda, famous for housing the “Biggest book in the World” and Kyauk Taw Gyi pagoda with its huge Marble Buddha. This tour offers a great introduction to Mandalay and a memorable day touring.

Day 23: Flight to Bagan | Valley of a Thousand Temples

This morning, transfer by flight to Bagan. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel, the Aureum Palace Hotel for check in. 

This afternoon, explore Bagan. See its thousands of Buddhist pagodas spread in the valley of the Ancient City of Bagan. These pagodas were once owned by individual families during prosperous times. Visit the Nyaung Oo Market where locals buy and sell produce. Continue on to the Shwezigon Pagoda , the largest pagoda in Bagan painted with real gold. 

Then enjoy a Horse Cart Ride to the small village of Taung Phi for a view of a teak monastery Continue by horse cart around temples and winding roads as the sun makes it's way to the sky's edge casting curious shadows from the temples across the plain. Continue to Shesandaw Pagoda. Watch one of the best sunsets in Southeast Asia before  riding back to your hotel.

Day 24: Flight to Inle Lake| Excursion by Long Tail Boat

This morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Heho. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel, the Aureum Resort and Spa for check in.

Your Excursion today will be on a private long tail boat to see how the In-tha tribe (name of local ethnic people) live on the lake. You’ll discover their unique floating farms and life on the water. Also witness local fisherman who fish while using only one leg to paddle the boat. Then visit the Long Neck Ladies who were relocated from the Myanmar and Thailand border.

Continue to Bogyoke Market which sells many Burmese traditional handicrafts including stone, wood and bronze carvings, and much more. .In the afternoon, visit Kandawgyi Park near Chaukhtetgyi Reclining Buddha Image – one of the largest in Yangon. Continue to the highlight of Yangon: the golden Shwedagon Pagoda, which has been described as one of the wonders of the world. Shwedagon plays a very important role in the Old Burmese History and also is an important Buddhist icon. Enjoy the sunset over the pagoda.

Day 28: Bangkok City Highlight| Flight to Chiang Rai

This morning you will visit the Grand Palace, a beautiful example of an ancient Siamese court, and Wat Phra Kaew, home to the revered Emerald Buddha statue. Then, ride like a Local by tuk-tuk to Wat Pho temple, to behold the 150-foot-long Reclining Buddha statue. Next, explore the city’s renowned klongs(canals) by boat and cruise the Chao Phraya River. Also visit Wat Arun and the Royal Barge Museum.  After the tour you will transfer to airport for flight to Chiang Rai.

Day 29: Doi Mae Salong - Discover Golden Striangle

The golden triangle is a mysterious region for most of Indochina tour makes, today you will enjoy a full day excursion to the heart of golden triangle region.

Your fascinating day will start from morning by firstly visit the Long Neck Karen village to see the long neck hill tribe people who relocated from the Thai and Myanmar border. If it is possible, you will also able to visit a Cock Fighting near the hill tribe village. Keep driving to Mt. Doi Mae Salong and visit the Chinese village on the top of the mountain. Lunch will be at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, continue the trip to the highest peak on the Thai-Myanmar border. Doi Tung, provides an opportunity to view enrooted many different Lahu and Akha village as well as terraced farming areas and see from distance the Princess Mother's frigid flower Garden.  Doi Tung temple, built in A.D.1493, is located at the peak. Its scenery reminds one of Switzerland, features many unique images and temple architecture overlooking the entire northern rice field plain.  Return to the hotel and rest of the day free at leisure.

Day 30: Chiang Rai | Chiang Mai

Keep driving around 30 minutes to Chiang Mai, visit the Meow Hill Tribe Village where locates on the Mountain Doi Pui and it was once famous for opium cultivation. Continue to visit the Temple Wat Doi Suthep where you will enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the Chiang Mai City. If you like, here is also one of the best places to enjoy sunset.

Day 31: Tour of Chiang Mai

In the morning, start your cultural tour of Chiang Mai. First stop at Kad Ton Payom Market, renowned for its fresh fruits and flowers, aromatic spices and northern Thai cuisine. You can participate in the local tradition of almsgiving — offering food to Buddhist monks. Continue to the Buddhist temple of Wat Umong, nestled in the forested foothills of Suthep Mountain. Learn about the Buddhist proverbs posted throughout the grounds in English and Thai before you head inside to see the impressive Buddha statue.
