Day 2: Sightseeing at Cai Rang Floating Market - Riding to Chau Doc ( B, L, D )

6.30 AM - Ride to Ninh Kieu Pier to take a boat trip to Cai Rang floating market, one of the busiest fruit markets in Southeast Asia. We have a long-distance cruise & walk on a quiet country road to take in the magnificent scenery and get close to the locals as they go about their daily routine. Back to Hotel for breakfast.

Then we will have a short visit to Can Tho central market and Binh Thuy's ancient house whose design is a combination of Vietnam and France with interesting involved stories but also a garden with various flowers and fruits, including a wide range of orchids and a record cactus. Motorcycle heading straight to Chau Doc and en route, we’ll stop by to visit a very famous Stork Garden named Bang Lang where you’ll have a chance to witness thousand and thousand storks & birds converging here in your own eyes. Upon arrival at Chau Doc, you’ll be helped to check-in at the hotel and free to stroll around overnight at the hotel in Chau Doc

Day 3: Chau Doc - High-Speed Boat To Phnom Penh ( B, L )

After having breakfast at the hotel, We’ll take a high boat trip upstream of the Mekong River to Phnom Penh. Along the journey, you’ll have a chance to experience the beauty of the Mighty Mekong River cum its stunning landscapes of rice paddies, gardens, and local villages along the banks of the river.

At noon, you’ll get to Phnom Penh and right here, there will be our guide & driver welcoming & escorting you to your hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, you’ll be going to discover Phnom Penh with visits to the magnificent Royal Palace, and the notorious Killing Fields of Choeung Ek where a memorial stupa stands in front of the mass killing site.

Day 4: Phnom Penh Motorbike Tour via Kampong Cham to Kampong Thom ( B )

Distance: 150KM | Level: Easy | Road: flat tarmac, gravel

After the tour introduction and safety briefing, we begin our trip with a ride on a village road along the Mekong River toward Kampong Cham – the country’s largest province. Once you get used to the bike, we will take the back road out of Phnom Penh with little traffic along the scenic road. We will stop regularly to see the sights along the way including a stop at the silk weaving village where we see villagers sit underneath their houses on stilts producing shiny silk scarves called using their traditional wooden loom. Along the way, there are numerous family-size businesses including kantele – the old fashion but the must-have mat weaved from river reed.

We also make a river crossing using a wooden ferry that locals use for their daily river crossing. On arrival at Kampong Thom, we check in to the hotel and relax in this nice colonial town

Day 5: Kampong Thom Motorbike Tour to Siemreap ( B )

Today, we continue riding along the Mekong and make a stop at the 1500 years old holy site of the pre-Angkorian Khmer – Wat Hanchey which was built in the 6th century AD. We get to the hilltop and enjoy the breathtaking view of the Mekong and the surrounding landscape.

On the way, we stop for a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Sambor Preikuh – the pre-Angkorian capital dated back between the 6th to 9th centuries. We begin the day by exploring this giant temple complex with its enclosure covering an area of 5 million square meters. We then travel on the path of the ancient road connecting the Great Preah Khan to Angkor a hundred kilometers away. It is hard to imagine that a thousand years ago this ancient highway that served as an important trading route in the kingdom became a small trail only accessible by nothing bigger than a motorcycle. We arrive in Siem Reap in the afternoon to relax and enjoy this vibrant city of tourism.

Travel by car (Motorbike not allowed by authority) Early morning, visit the picturesque Ta Prohm that had nearly disappeared into the jungle and remains overgrown, an oddly haunting and exotic scene. The magnificent roots of a tree, pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple in a sort of embrace, evoke feelings that you may remember forever and continue to visit the intricately carved Khmer ruins at Angkor Wat – one of the world’s most impressive ruins. The temple still owns fine Apsara carvings in Angkorian era art. Continue exploring the mysterious Royal city of Angkor Thom.
