Day 1: Arrive to Yangon

Welcome to Myanmar! Upon arrival, our guide will greet you at the airport and escort you to Hotel for check in. then rest are at your leisure.

In the evening, enjoy a Myanmar royal style welcome dinner on a floating marble boat.

Day 2: Full Day Yangon Capital Highlights

Meals: B / L

After breakfast, visit the downtown area to see the Old City Hall, and Maharbandoola Park. Then stroll along the old street ending at the old Strand Hotel. Next, drive to Botahtaung Pagoda which features golden decorations inside. Continue to Bogyoke Market which sells many Burmese traditional handicrafts including stone, wood and bronze carvings, and much more. .In the afternoon, visit Kandawgyi Park near Chaukhtetgyi Reclining Buddha Image – one of the largest in Yangon. Continue to the highlight of Yangon: the golden Shwedagon Pagoda, which has been described as one of the wonders of the world. Shwedagon plays a very important role in the Old Burmese History and also is an important Buddhist icon. Enjoy the sunset over the pagoda.

Day 3: Full Day Yangon Railway station and Twante

After morning breakfast, you will transfer to Yangon Railway Station to take the local Circular Train journey to the outskirts of town (20-30 minutes ride). The slow-traveling train gives a unique opportunity to observe the lively and colorful life of the rural Burmese people.  Disembark to visit Kyi Myin Daing Market where a variety of street vendors sell colorful wares.  Enjoy exploring the market and meeting friendly locals before returning by road to Yangon.

In the afternoon, you will drive to Twante. Upon arrival in Twante, the road is bumpy and you should be prepared for a 'rustic' but very interesting ride, which provides a glimpse of life on and along the famous Twante Canal, the narrow waterway constructed in 1883 to connect the Yangon and Ayeyarwady Rivers, and still in use today. In Twante, after a visit to Shwesandaw Pagoda, visit pottery area where a large part of the population is engaged in pottery production. Walk through the many workshops and observe this very traditional craft. Return to Yangon.

Day 4: Flight to Heho |Inle Lake

Flight: Internal flight include in quotation and will be on GTT arrangement

Transfer to airport for flight to Heho where you will be picked up and transfer you to your hotel by the lakeside of Inle Lake.

Inle Lake locates in the highland of Myanmar in an altitude of around 3,000 feet above sea level.  Here you will enjoy different atmosphere and ambience from middle part of Myanmar.

After check in hotel, enjoy your day at leisure to relax.

Day 5: Full day Inle lake tour with Boat Ride

Meals: B / L

After your breakfast around 8am and take a boat trip to Inle Lake (second largest lake in Myanmar). The Intha’s lives are centered on the lake - they live in stilted houses, grow produce such as tomatoes, melons, and papayas in a unique floating garden, and eat fish as a staple.

You will visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the most highly revered monastery in the Inle Lake area. Discover the traditional handicrafts silk weaving on wooden handlooms and a blacksmith shop.

Then, continue our boat ride to Nga Phe Chaung monastery, one of the oldest monasteries on the lake. The Buddha statues are more than 200 years old. On the lake, you can see traditional fishing methods by using the leg rowing technique. We proceed to the floating garden - Kyun-Hmyaw, which was built-up from strips of water hyacinth and mud, dredged from the lake bed, which breaks down into a rich humus; it take 50 years to produce a layer of 1m thick. Relax and enjoy spectacular sunset views over Inle Lake before returning to hotel.

Day 7: Flight to Bagan | Valley of a Thousand Temples

Flight: Internal flight include in quotation and will be on GTT arrangement

This morning, transfer by car to heho and flight to Bagan. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check in.

This afternoon, explore Bagan. See its thousands of Buddhist pagodas spread in the valley of the Ancient City of Bagan. These pagodas were once owned by individual families during prosperous times. Visit the Nyaung Oo Market where locals buy and sell produce. Continue on to the Shwezigon Pagoda, the largest pagoda in Bagan painted with real gold.

Then enjoy a Horse Cart Ride to the small village of Taung Phi for a view of a teak monastery Continue by horse cart around temples and winding roads as the sun makes it's way to the sky's edge casting curious shadows from the temples across the plain. Continue to Shesandaw Pagoda. Watch one of the best sunsets in Southeast Asia before

Day 8: Mandalay

Enjoy the sunrise. After an early breakfast, the passengers will disembark at SagaingJetty (Thursday only) or Gawein jetty (Sunday Only) at around 09.30hrs. Upon arrival you will be transfer to hotel for check in.

Day 9: Full day Mandalay city tour

Meals: B / L

Enjoy the sunrise. After an early breakfast, the passengers will disembark at Sagaing Jetty (Thursday only) or Gawein jetty (Sunday Only) at around 09.30/10.00 hrs.

Your local guide and driver will pick you up from the cruise ship and bring you to a city excursion in Mandalay. You will visit Mahamuni Image where you will see local people pray and stick gold paper on the Buddha for blessing. You can also try to make your wish and donate money (buy) for gold paper to stick the gold paper on the statue (only man allowed to stick the gold). On the way to the Mahamuni Image, you will visit a gold paper factory to see how people made the gold leaf. Visit the Shwenandaw Monastery which means ‘Golden Palace Monastery” and was built in 19th century and well known for its teak carving of Buddhist myths. Then Visit Mandalay Palace The scale of King Mindon’s ambition is obvious on first sight of the vast Mandalay Palace and its grounds. This walled citadel, surrounded by a large moat, is situated in the middle of the city, to the north of downtown; it certainly looks imposing from the outside, but unfortunately, along with much of Mandalay, it was devastated by bombing in the Second World War. Visit the Kuthodaw Pagoda which is a Buddhist stupa that contains the world’s largest book of Buddhism.

Finish your day at the top of Mandalay Hill for a stunning sun set.

Day 10: Amarapura Ancient Capital.

Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Mandalay at 7:30-8am. From here, you will travel to Mingun. Mingun is home to the world’s largest untracked ringing bell, the largest brick base Pathodawgyi Pagoda and Myatheindan Pagoda with a distinctive architectural style modelled after the mythical Mount Meru (Myinmo taung). You will then continue to Sagaing (the ancient capital of Shan and Myanmar Kingdoms) and visit Sunn Oo Ponya Shin on the tranquil Sagaing Hill. Also drop by at a local silverware cottage industry if time allows. Enjoy lunch in at a local restaurant in Sagaing before leaving for Inwa (also known as Ava), a former royal capital of Myanmar Kingdom on the confluence of the Ayeyarwaddy River and Myitnge River.

After crossing the Myitnge River by a small ferry boat, we will take a horse cart to explore the ruins of the old royal capital including the watchtower, the 27m tall leaning tower of the old royal palace, Maha Aungmye Bonzan monastery (also known as Me Nu Oak Kyaung) built of brick in traditional style with elaborated stucco ornamentations that looks like carvings and the Bargaya monastery, a splendid teak wood monastery with wood curving. Your last destination today is the Amarapura. It was the royal capital of Myanmar twice, from 1783 to 1821 and 1842 to 1859, during the Konbaung era before finally being superseded by Mandalay. Heading to U Bein Bridge to explore the local way of life and enjoy the sunset before returning to your hotel.

Day 11: Arrive in Siem Reap, Half Day Angkor Wat

Flight: International flight on your own arrangement or upon you requests

Angkor Wat—impressed by the magnificent temple of Angkor Wat.

Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you will be welcomed by our local guide at the airport then escorts to hotel. After check in and a short rest, your private guide will escort you to discover the world’s wonder site—Angkor Wat, the magnificent temple was built in 12th century and it is the largest first Hindu, Buddhist temle complex and the largest religious monument in the world. On your way back to Siem Reap, enjoy the sunset from the top of the pyramid-shaped temple of Pre Rup.

Day 12: Full Day Angkor Thom & Ta Prohm Temple

Meals: B / L

After breakfast, the cool weather and less traffic is perfect for you to travel in a Tuk Tuk to visit the ancient city Angkor Thom which was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire. The tour in Angkor Thom will starts from the South Gate and walk along the ancient city wall to see the lost temple of Prasat Chroung, then continue to the Bayon temple where you will be surrounded by 216 gigantic stone faces which fame as “smile of Angkor”. You will also visit the Terrace of the Elephants, the Royal Palace and the Terrace of the Leper King.

When weather gets hot, your driver will pick you up and you can enjoy air-condition and cold drinks inside your private car while transferring you to Temple of Ta Prohm which is wildly known as “lost to the jungle temple”.

Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 13: Full Day Banteay Srey Temple & Samre Temple

After enjoying breakfast, you will travel to the Pink Stone temple or Banteay Srey. Despite its miniature scale, this temple has spectacular decorative wall carving which are still observable in fine details today.

Your tour will continue to visit, on the way back, local communities along the way and your guide will help you to interact with the local community to learn about the way of life here. Seize the opportunity to taste Palm Wine and Palm Sugar (seasonal) and other popular local products. After that you will continue to Banteay Samre temple which was built in 12th century. Finally, you will enjoy riding ox cart around the village near Samre temple to experience the local life of Cambodian people.

Day 14: Cruise to Kompong Chhnang

Free at leisure until departure to Tonle Sap Lake to board RV Jayavarman for cruising. Starting cruise from noon with lunch ready to be served, you will enjoy the exploration of Tonle Sap Lake, the biggest Southeast Asia’s largest fresh water lake, for the first day. You can spot so different birds at the Lake and as the sun goes down you will enjoy dinner and overnight on board.

Today you will cruise along Tonle Sap (The Great Lake), the biggest Southeast Asia’s largest fresh water lake. Day 15: Kampong Chhnang--Pottery village, Floating houses

Get up early and you can enjoy Tai Chi lesson on the sun deck as the sun slowly rise. The ship will cruise out of the Lake to Kompong Chhnang province in the morning and you can enjoy the marshlands along the river bank. As you arrive at the province in the afternoon, you will take short bus trip to visit Khmer styled pottery at Audaung Russey village. After that continue with motorboat excursion to Kompong Cham and you can see the wetlands, floating houses and fish farms along the way. Take part in an ox rally before visit the Heritage Line pro bono “Literacy project”. Overnight in Kompong Cham.

Day 2:

“The day – in fact everyday – starts with an invigorating Tai Chi lesson on the sun deck, just as the sun begins its slow rise. Coffee and tea awaits the early bird. Before dawn, the ship sets sail across the Tonle Lake. As the ship is about to exit the lake, we see spectacular marshlands floating along the river banks of Kampong Chhnang province.

The afternoon cruise continues with a languid meander along the Tonle River, which narrows through leafy swaths of the Southeast Asian jungle. Follow a short bus trip to the see the Khmer-styled pottery at the Aundaung Russey village. We then embark on a truly marvellous motorboat excursion from Kampong Chhnang to see the wetlands, floating houses and fish farms in the region before reaching Kampong Cham in the evening. Day 16: Cruise to Kampong Cham, Visit Wat Hanchey & Wat Nokor

After breakfast, you will take part in the land journey to the pre-Angkorian temple of Wat Hanchey. You can take motor-taxi or climb 291 steps to the top of the pagoda. The breath-taking view from the top is waiting you to enjoy. You will witness the blessing ceremony performed by orange-clad local monks after returning to the ship. After that you will cruise towards Kampong Cham to visit Wat Nokor, a wat built within the ruins of an ancient temple which holds a timeless story. On the way back to the Ship, we will visit an orphanage. Overnight midstream near Phnom Penh.

Day3:

“We will wake up in the small hours of the morning, truly energized to embark on a land journey to the pre-Angkorian temple of Wat Hanchey. You either take a motor-taxi or climb 291 steps to the top. Located at the top of a hill overlooking the river, it offers one of the most breath-taking views in Cambodia. We even get to engage in light banter with some of the monks in the area. We will return to the Ship to witness a blessing ceremony performed by orange-clad local monks.

When the tide allows, we will enjoy a surprise sojourn in our zodiacs (inflatable boats) to the nearby bank to swim in the teacoloured Mekong river, an experience that will, no doubt, dominate dinner conversations in the weeks to come. We will then cruise towards Kampong Cham to visit Wat Nokor, a wat built within the ruins of an ancient temple which holds a timeless story. On the way back to the Ship, we will visit an orphanage. Along the way, we will have to maneuver a 2-kilometer rickety bamboo bridge. Our sense of balance lies in the balance!

Day 17: Full Day Phnom Penh City Tour

After breakfast, you will enjoy city tour of Phnom Penh, historical capital city of Cambodia. You will visit the Silver Pagoda which has 5,000 silver tiles on the floor and a visit to the Royal Palace where the Khmer royal family lives. You will also visit the National Museum where you will see the large collection of Khmer history, arts and architecture. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will visit the Genocide museum and the Killing Field that millions of Cambodians were will during the Khmer Rouge regime. You go back to the Ship after our museum visit. A variety of cocktails will be served followed by a traditional Apsara dance performance on board. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

“After breakfast, we will be captivated by a comprehensive lecture on Cambodia’s modern history. This will be followed by a city tour of this dynamic, historical capital city of Cambodia which has managed to preserve huge slices of its French colonial allure. Sightseeing in the morning will include visiting the dazzling white and gold edifice of the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, and witnessing exceptionally beautiful Khmer craft at the National Museum.

After lunch at a local restaurant, we will visit the Genocide museum and the Killing Field in town. Be prepared to be heart wrenched by this stark reminder of the genocide that transpired during Cambodia’s Khmer Rouge regime.

Day 20: My Tho (Bentre)—Discover Mekong Delta

Enjoy a full day tour from Saigon to My Tho to discover the Mekong River Delta, which is famed as the ‘rice bowl’ of Vietnam. You will take a private boat tour through the water coconut forest to center of Mekong Delta, enjoy a biking tour (about 1 hour) to discover the villages and a sampan trip through the narrow canals.

Transfer back to Saigon in the afternoon.

Day 21: Full Day Saigon City Tour, Flight to Hoian

In the morning, you will visit the Cu Chi Tunnel to see the complicate tunnel system the Vietnamese built in the war time. In the afternoon, drive back to the city and visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Pot Office, the Chinatown of the city with the Emperor Jade Pagoda (Phuoc Hai).

Fly to Danang and check in hotel in Hoian. Overnight in Hoian.

Day 22: Full Day My Son Heritage, Hoian Ancient Town

Visit the My SON Holy Land in the morning to discover the ruined temple which was built in the 4th century. When drive back to Hoian, visit the historical Hoian Ancient Town includes the colorful local market, the Tan Ky Old House, Fukien Assembly Hall and the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge. You can also visit the local residents raising silkworms and producing silk for Hoi An’s burgeoning textile industry.

In the evening, the local people will hang up the red lanterns, it will give you the feeling of traveling back to ancient time.

Day 23: Flight to Hanoi

Enjoy the morning free on your own to be relax. In the afternoon, fly to Hanoi in the afternoon.

Day 24: Full Day Halong Bay Cruise

Start at 8:00 am with private transfer to Halong City. Upon arrival, you will board the cruise ship for a relaxing Halong Bay Cruise through the stunning Halong Bay. You could be absolute relax by lying down on the sun deck to enjoy the beautiful scenery and sun shine. A shore excursion will bring you to discover a beautiful cave, visit a local fishing village with opportunity to interact with local people.

SECOND DAY

Early birds can attend a Tai Chi demonstration on the sundeck at the break of dawn. Start the day enjoying some Paradise delights with a colourful buffet breakfast. Continue exploring Halong Bay sailing across its 2000 islets and visiting some of its major highlights. Your Paradise Cruise will come to an end on Tuan Chau Island between 10.30am and 11.00am.

Day 26: Half day city tour, Departure for sweet home

In the morning, you will enjoy a half day city tour for some highlights of Hanoi. Visit the Hoan Kiem Lake, the One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his former residence (close on Monday, Friday and the whole of Oct. and Nov.

In the afternoon, transfer to airport for your homeward flight to your sweet home.
