Day 1: Welcome to Chiang Mai!

Welcome to Thailand! Upon arrival, our guide will greet you at the airport and escort you to Hotel for check in. then rest are at your leisure.

Day 2: Half day Chiang Mai Temple and Half Day Elephant

Meals: B

In the morning, you'll go to visit the most prominent temples in Chiang Mai. Start with Wat Phra Singh which houses the famous Phra Singh Buddha image. It features Lanna art throughout and illustrates many famous Buddhist stories.

Continue on to Wat Chedi Luang, which once contained the Emerald Buddha. The temple is partially in ruins due to an earthquake in the 1500s.

Then continue to Wat Suan Dok, which houses many of the remains of generations of the old Chiang Mai Royal Family.

Day 3: Chiang Mai | Chiang Rai

After breakfast, visit the Temple Wat Doi Suthep where you will enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the Chiang Mai City. Keep driving to Chiang Mai, visit the Meow Hill Tribe Village where locates on the Mountain Doi Pui and it was once famous for opium cultivation.

Continue visit the White Temple, is an unusual Thai temple designed by artist Chalermchai Kositpipat, who mixes traditional Buddhist temple architecture with pop culture references. Transfer to Chiang Khong for overnight.

Day 4: Xuay Xai ( Houei Sai)

Guide and driver will escort you to meet point which is took around 1 hour driving. 08:00am: You meet our team in front of the Chiang Khong International border with a sign of our name. They will help you get the shuttle bus to cross the bridge and go to Lao immigration. Just after landing, our English speaking tour guide is welcoming you and will help you to apply for your visa. Then, we will transfer you by minivan to the boat pier.

The boat leaves Houay Xay at 09:30am 12:00pm: Lunch is served on board. You will taste traditional Lao food with several dishes. 2:00pm: The first stop will be to visit a Hill Tribe Village along the Mekong River. Our guide will explain the way of living and the origins of these rural populations. The tribe being small, we ask you a special attention to respect the private space of the habitants while the visit.

During the afternoon, you will be free to relax on board and taste some local snacks and fresh fruits. 4:30pm: The boat arrives in Pakbeng before sunset, where you will retreat to your accommodation for the night.

Day 5: Pakbeng - Luang Prabang

8:00am: The boat leaves Pakbeng.

The boat departs for another day of impressive nature landscapes all along the river. 2 stops are planned during the afternoon.

Use your free time in the morning for asking some questions about Luang Prabang and Laos the guide. 12:30pm: Lunch is served on board. You will taste traditional Lao food with several dishes. 1:00pm: After the lunch, the first stop will be at Pak Ou to visit the famous Pak Ou Caves (Tham Ting) and its thousands of Buddha images.” 2:30pm: Next step, the Lao Lao village, commonly known as the Whiskey Village.

In there, the guide will provide information about the locally made rice whisky, and you will have the chance to taste it if you wish.

You will also have time to enjoy the charm of this small and authentic village, its temple and local artisans.

You will be served some local snacks and fresh fruits before arrival.
You will arrive in Luang Prabang around 4:30pm.

Day 6: Kuangsi Waterfall and half day Luang Prabang City Tour

Luang Prabang, the city surrounded by Mekong River and well known for its golden city is well known for its beautiful decorated Buddhist temples, it is a place that you will keep appearing in your mind for long time after your Indochina tour.

Your memorable trip will starts from partaking in an alms ritual in the morning, you will accepts the blessing by monks who you give the alms. Have breakfast in the hotel and then start the half day excursion to Kuang Si Waterfalls, where you will enjoy beautiful natural scenery, have fun in waterfalls and relax.

Drive back to the town for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Wat Xiengthong which is symbolic temple of the classic Laotian architecture, visit the Royal Palace Musem to learn some history of Laos. Then visit the Wat Aham Templewhich means “Monastery of the Opened Heart” and the Stupa of Wat Visoun.

Rest of the day at your leisure to relax and explore the city, you can enjoy some drinks in one of the cafés or strolling along the beautiful riverside.

Day 7: Luang Prabang to Vang Vieng

Today after breakfast you will continue your amazing Indochina Tour in Laos from Luang Prabang to Vang Vieng.

Our intrepid journey will be strenuous as we drive along one of the most scenic, but also a road that is pot holed in places.  In the afternoon we arrive in Vang Vieng, a small town, which is nestled on a bend of the Nam Song River. Its stunning scenery with a mixture of quiet river waters and limestone outcrops remains unspoiled, despite recent developments with the advent of tourism. We will embark on a boat for a well-paced trip along the Nam Song River, exploring the breathtaking mountain landscape.

Day 8: Vang Vieng – Tham Phoutham

After breakfast, we start our board on a local tractor through paddy field areas heading to Tham Phoutham, where your breath will be taken away seeing the most beautiful and famous limestone cavern, surrounded by natural forests. Along the way, you have chance to explore the local cultures by greeting the local villagers and learning about their daily lifestyle.

There is a small natural pool in front of the caves where you can take a swim to refresh yourself from the hot climate or you could explore the nearby area. You will have a picnic lunch enjoying the scenery. After spending the day at the caves and its surrounding areas, we make our return to the Vang Vieng town, using local transportation or tractor. En route, we visit the ethnic minority villages of Hmong, Souay and Taidam villages meeting the warm and friendly hill tribe people and observing their traditional tribal costumes.

Day 9: Trip from Vang Vieng To Vientiane

As part of our half day tour of Vang Vieng, we explore the famous caves of Tham Jang, which was once used by the local people as a hideout from Chinese invaders. We also cross the river to Ban Huai Ngai, a very pleasant village where we can explore the different lifestyles of the locals. Following lunch we head south to Vientiane, you will stop for photos at the fishing village of Ban Houy Mo then visit the archaeological site of Vang Xang, which has one of the oldest Buddha statues dating back to 11th century, then continue to Vientiane.

Day 13: Full day Cycling - Angkor Wat - South Fate Angkor Thom - Presh Khan - Taprom - Sras srong

We will begin our with an easy-paced 30mn and cycling through the jungle to reach Angkor Wat Temple, your guide will lead you the back of the Angkor Wat, discover the world’s wonder site of Angkor Wat. The magnificent temple was built in the 12th century and is the largest religious monument in the world. Move on to Angkor Thom Ancient City: Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of Leper King, Baphoun, Phimeanakas, and Bayon with its captivating stone faces. Cycling to the east of Bayon Temple – Death Gate of Angkor Thom, and take a break for Lunch time.

After that go to visit Preah Khan, was built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII and original designed for medical purposes. The site was built in the second half of the 12th Century, according to tradition, on a spot where the King fought a crucial battle against the Cham. And continues via off-road to Tomb Raider fame, Ta Prom Temple and enjoy view of Sunset at Srah Srong.

Day 14: Beng Melea & Bantey Srei Temple Touring Day

This morning, take a pleasant 1.5 hour drive through the Cambodian countryside to reach the sprawling jungle temple of Beng Melea . Constructed in a distinctly Angkor Wat style by King Suyavarman II in the early 12th century, Beng Mealea preceded and may have served as a prototype for Angkor Wat. Today the temple is largely overrun by vegetation and the stone walls are crumbling which adds to its charm in a unique way. Accessibility has improved as elevated walkways have been set up throughout most of the temple, although to see all corners does require a sense of adventure as you will need to climb over stone blocks or walk through narrow passageways.

Continue on to the remote temple of Banteay Srei : set deep in the jungle. The Citadel of Women, Banteay Srei was carved from red sandstone, a medium that lends itself to elaborate decorative wall carvings, which are well preserved to this day. The buildings themselves are miniature in scale in comparison to the other colossal temples around Siem Reap, unusually so when measured by the standards of Angkorian construction. This temple is considered the jewel of Khmer art.

Day 15: Half Day Cycling - Chreav - Vegetable Farm and Beng Pearaing | Cambodia Phare Circus

Start with a ride out along the Siem Reap Riverbank, then leave the tarmac and ride on small dirt paths through the scenic countryside and friendly villages, where children will be welcoming you with a hello from every angle. First stop at Chreav Community, where the local peoples grow Organic Vegetables for their living income & Eco-tourism. You will see the stilt house surrounding by vegetable farm, witness daily life, custom, culture and superstitions. Continue to Pearaing Lake.

This beautiful lake is a part of Tonle Sap lake which one of the great lake in Cambodia as well as in south East Asia. It is one of the Bird Sanctuary among many other places in Cambodia, what is the special and its interesting point is it is closest to Siem Reap town, with good adventure in the dry season, and you also can travel by boat during the rainy season.

You still can see those birds flying, swimming, with your nake eyes. Those bird are, the huge lesser and greater adjutant storks, the milky stork and the spot-billed pelican, moreover, this floating forest area also a harmony nest for other small and beautiful bird, like sunbird and bulbul. Beside of bird, fish and ecology system, you also can see a beautiful sun set along with lullaby sound from the bird.

Day 16: Full Day Kulen Mountain National Park & Waterfall

Breakfast is at hotel. We drive out of the hassle city at 8.30am, passing beautiful countryside before arriving at Phnom Kulen; one of Cambodia’s national parks that provides wonderful holiday and a great place to cool off. Phnom Kulen used to be the ancient capital city in 802AD - after King Jayavarman II was initiated as the royal “God of the King”. Enjoy the guided walking tour to visit Preah Ang Thom - the reclining giant Buddha statue.

Continue to witness historical site of 1000 linga carvings under the riverbed, you also have a chance to see the secret pool where the white clear water coming out of the ground all year round. Resume the driving to the beautiful waterfall where we can refresh, bathe and swim. Near the waterfall there are some local huts where we enjoy local lunch & fresh coconut. Enjoy the relaxation and feel the nature until late afternoon then we transfer you back to hotel.

Day 17: Transfer to Phnom Penh

After breakfast your local guide and driver will escort you to Bus station for travelling to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival your guide and driver will escort to hotel for check in.

Day 18: Full Day Phnom Penh City Tour

Discover the highlights of Phnom Penh and the iconic landmarks.

After breakfast, your guide will greet you at the lobby and then escort you to the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek. The Killing Fields were a place of execution and burial of people considered a threat or enemy of the Khmer Rouge regime (1975-1979). You'll walk near the fields which have been excavated, and see the monument which now houses the skulls of the victims. You'll also see an old tree which is notable for it's eerie and death-like appearance.

You'll also watch a video where you'll learn about the tragedies that happened at this site. Next, you'll continue to Toul Sleng Genocide Museum. Prior to 1975 Toul Sleng was a high school. When Khmer Rouge came to power in 1975 they converted it into the S-21 prison.

In the afternoon, you'll continue to the National Museum where you will see the largest collection in the world of Khmer history, arts and architecture on display. You will also visit the Silver Pagoda, which has 5,000 silver tiles on the floor and then you'll visit the Royal Palace where the Khmer royal family lives. Finally you'll visit Wat Phnom. When the tour is finished, you'll be escorted to your hotel for the evening.

Day 19: Silk Island and Central Marke

this morning trnsfer by car to Silk Island after arrive take a Tuk Tuk ride on quiet back roads of the Silk Islands, near Phnom Penh, visiting local communities and farmland to witness village life in the Cambodian countryside. This trip runs from Phnom Penh. Who would have thought, that only 5km from the heart of Cambodia's capital city, there is an island oasis where one can take a bike ride at a gentle pace and discover true rural Cambodia.

These islands, created by the flows of the Mekong River, are isolated by the lack of bridges, but ferry connections provide easy access for villagers who use the fertile soil here to grow fruit and vegetables and then weave silk and cotton in between farming cycles. The absence of most four wheeled traffic makes for a peaceful ride where you can almost forget that the hustle of a city is just nearby. The riding is flat and easily achievable for anyone who can ride a bike and we take care to ensure a high degree of safety, making this a truly family friendly experience.

Your Tuk tuk trip ends in the afternoon giving you enough free time to discover the Central Markets, referred to as Phsah Thmei meaning new market this art deco style building is one of the iconic buildings of Phnom Penh.
