Day 1: Phnom Penh Arrival

Welcome to Phnom Penh!

Upon arrival, our tour guide and driver will welcome you at the airport. You will be escorted to the hotel and check-in. The rest of the day is at your leisure for recovery.

In the morning, after breakfast, your tour guide will escort you to the airport.

Day 2: Phnom Penh City Discovery (B, L)

Enjoy your breakfast and our tour guide will pick you up to start exploring Phnom Penh, Cambodian’s capital city.

In the morning, you will enjoy the following activities:

1. Take a Tuk-tuk ride to visit the Silver Pagoda which is decorated with about 5000 silver tiles on the floor and the Royal Palace where the Khmer royal family lives.
2. Prison and Killing Field/Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum: a museum chronicling the Cambodian genocide.
3. National Museum: home to the world's finest collection of Khmer sculpture: a millennium's worth and more of masterful Khmer design.

After the tour, enjoy the lunch at a local restaurant and have a short break.

In the afternoon, we will head to the Mekong Island of Phnom Penh, where you will enjoy a cycle touring around the countryside of Phnom Penh, discovering the small villages, local schools, silk-weaving houses and the beautiful rural landscapes.

Then, you will enjoy the sunset cruise with unlimited beer & soft drinks, exploring the Mekong, Tonle Sap and Four Faces Rivers, as well as Diamond Island and the local fishing village. Gain an authentic experience by observing the housing and lifestyle of the locals who live along the riverbank.

After the tour, you will be escorted to explore the local night market of Phnom Penh. Then, back to hotel and have a good rest tonight.

Day 3: Phnom Penh to Battambang (B)

After breakfast, you’ll be escorted to Battambang for a drive about 5 hours.

Welcome to Battambang! After arrival, we’ll head to the hotel and the check-in. The rest of today is free at your time. Have a good rest for tomorrow's trip.

Day 4: Battambang Full Day Tour - Bamboo Train, Killing Cave & Sunset (B, L)

Today, after the breakfast, you will take a ride on the traditional Bamboo Train, a bamboo platform laid over 2 sets of wheels on a single track. In the old days this was used to transport goods between Battambang and Phnom Penh and was a typical mode of transport for farmers and villagers. Today, it takes you through the beautiful countryside to a little village you can explore on foot before returning to your starting point.

After the lunch, climb the 365 stairs to marvel at Wat Banan, an Angkor era temple that sits on top of a hill close to the Sanker River.

The Killing Caves of Phnom Sampeau (also known as Phnom Sampov) are a place of beauty, turned tragedy, turned beauty once more.

Scale the side of a mountain leading to the 'secret bat cave' just before sunset where you will sit atop the mountain waiting for the millions of bats located inside the cave to awake.

After the tour, escorted back to explore the local nightlife, then back to your hotel and have a good rest.

Day 5: Battambang to Siem Reap (B)

After breakfast, you’ll be escorted to Siem Reap for a drive about 3 hours.

Welcome to Siem Reap! After arrival, we’ll head to the hotel and the check-in. The rest of today is free at your time. Have a good rest for tomorrow's trip.

 
Day 6: Siem Reap - Angkor Temple Discovery (B, L)

Today, you will get up a little bit early, at about 5:00 am for the sunrise of Angkor Wat, experiencing the breathtaking moment.

After enjoying the sunrise, you will be escorted to the hotel for breakfast and have a little rest. Your guide will pick you up at about 10:00 am to start your Angkor Temple discovery. In the morning, you will visit:

1. Ta Prohm: one of the largest temples built during the Khmer empire, a Buddhist temple dedicated to the mother of Jayavarman VII.
2. Banteay Kdei: considered to be one of the main groups of temples in the Angkor complex with peaceful and quiet surroundings.

After lunch at a local Cambodian restaurant, you will continue to visit:

1. Angkor Wat: the 7th wonder of the world, is a miniature replica of the universe in stone, its beauty and state of preservation is unrivaled.

After the tour, we prepare a Mudita Signature Treatment for you after touring the temples of Angkor Wat, rejuvenate with a spa session in Siem Reap. Using an herbal compress, your masseuse provides a massage treatment that is said to reduce tension and improve energy flow throughout the body.

After that, you will be escorted to your hotel, enjoy your free time, and have a good rest.

Day 7: Flight to Pakse; Drive to Bolaven Plateau (B, L)

Enjoy your breakfast until your tour guide escorts you to take the flight from Siem Reap to Pakse, which takes about 1 hour.

Welcome to Pakse, the second most popular city in Laos. Upon arrival at Pakse, you’ll be driven to Tad Fan Waterfall, the largest and most amazing waterfall in Laos.

In the afternoon, you’ll keep going on the tour to visit the Alak, Nge, and Katu villages on the Bolavan Plateau. It’s a great experience to enjoy the breathtaking natural beauty and observe the cultivation of coffee, tea, cardamom, bananas, etc.

After trekking, your tour guide and driver will escort you to the hotel in Bolavan Plateau for rest.

Day 8: Drive to Si Phan Don (B, L)

After breakfast, you’ll tour guide will drive you to Si Phan Don, the incredible “4,000 Islands” in Pakse”. It takes about 2 hours for a direct driving.

Along the trip, you'll visit the Vat Phou Ruins, an ancient temple complex from the 10th century. There's a museum to explore, a big temple to see, and time for a walk around.

After having lunch with Laotian, Vietnamese, and Thai dishes, you’ll take a rest. Then you’ll tour to village of Tomo. It's a small village near the secretive forest temple of Oum Muong, built in the 9th century and dedicated to Rudani, just a short walk away.

Late afternoon you’ll disembark from the boat to walk through Ban Deua Tia, a small Laotian Village where the traditional way of life has not changed in centuries.

After tour, you’ll be escorted to Don Khong, the largest and Northern-most of Si Phan Don. Arrive in hotel, the eveing is yours to relax and enjoy.

Day 9: Relax and Explore Li Phi Waterfall and the French Railroad and Bridge (B, L)

After breakfast, your tour guide will meet you at the hotel around 8:00 am – 8:30 am. Then you’ll go to the small village of Ban Veuthong, where you board a small boat to meander among the 4,000 Islands to Khong Island. Today, you’ll visit:

1. Old French Railway Bridge: the 100-year-old bridge that links Khone and Det Islands.
2. Xieng Di Village: a small fishing village where you have lunch on the banks of the Mekong.
3. Pha Pheng Waterfall: "The Niagara of the East", close to the Cambodian border, has historical significance.

Then tour to Liphi Waterfall. Also known as “Somphamit Waterfall”, it is one of the must-visit destination for today’s journey. You can watch the waterfall as the Mekong River flows over rocks, creating a beautiful sight of water, mist, and greenery. Enjoy the peaceful and scenic escape.

After the full-day natural immersion, your tour guide and driver will escort you to the hotel in Si Phan Don for the rest.

Day 10: Drive Back to Pakse; Flight to Vientiane (B)

Today, after breakfast, your tour guide will meet you and drive you back to Pakse. And you’ll be directly escort to Pakse International Airport. You’ll take the flight from Pakse to Vientiane, about 1 hour.

Welcome to Vientiane, the largest city and the capital of Laos. You’ll be escorted to the hotel in Vientiane for check-in. The rest of time is for you to explore this calm city.

Day 11: Vientiane Highlights Tour (B, L)

After breakfast, your tour guide will meet you at the hotel around 8:00 am – 8:30 am. The day will go through the highlights of Vientiane. You'll stop and visit:

1. Buddha Park: also known as Xieng Khuan, is filled with over 200 Buddhist and Hindu statues.
2. Patuxay Monument: a monument about the war in Vientiane that honors the people who fought for freedom from France.
3. Pha That Luang Stupa: a huge Buddhist stupa covered in gold and constructed in the 3rd century.

Enjoying a local Laotian lunch, you’ll continue your Vientiane day tour in the afternoon:

1. Wat Si Saket: the oldest surviving temple with thousands of Buddhist images.
2. National Museum: get to know some history of Laos.

After the tour, your tour guide will escort you to the hotel for a good rest.

Day 12: Vientiane to Luang Prabang (B)

After breakfast, enjoy your free time in the morning until your tour guide and driver pick you up to the airport and you’ll take a flight to Luang Prabang. The whole flight takes around 45 minutes.

Welcome to Luang Prabang! Upon your arrival, your private local tour guide will welcome you at the airport and then escort you to your hotel in Vientiane city.

The rest of the day will be at your leisure to relax and exploring the city. You can enjoy some drinks in one of the cafés or stroll along the beautiful riverside.

Day 13: Boat Trip to Pak Ou Caves & Kuang Si Waterfall (B, L)

After breakfast, your tour guide will meet you at the hotel around 8:00 am – 8:30 am. The day begins with a boat ride up the Mekong River, which gives you a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside. Along the way, you'll stop and visit:

1. Ban Xanghai village: the place where Laos rice wine and rice whiskey are produced. You'll have the opportunity to try some and learn about the process used to make it.
2. Pak Ou Caves: two linked caves filled with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims.

Lunch will be served near the caves. You'll try a local Laotian dish called "Orlam" which is a soup with vegetables and features a spicy wood that is partially edible. After a short rest, you’ll continue on your half-day tour to the beautiful Khouang Si Waterfall.

1. Bear Rescue Sanctuary: three bear houses were built with a capacity for 25 rescued bears.
2. Khouang Si Waterfall: the most beautiful in Laos. You can cool off with a refreshing swim in the pools or walk along the forest trails.

After the tour, your tour guide will escort you to enjoy a Laotian style spa and get relaxed. Then, you will get back to the hotel for a good rest.
