Day 1: Welcome to Chiang Mai

Flight: International flight is on client own arrangement

Welcome to Chiang Mai, upon arrive you will transfer by Tuk Tuk to the hotel for check in, the rest of the day free at your own leisure.

Day 2: Half Day Elephant Natural Park – Half Day Cooking Class Mama Noi (Joining Tour)

Meals: B / L / D

This morning at 08:30am you will be pick up by Van to The Elephant Natural Park, Enjoy a visit to Elephant Nature Park; a natural home and sanctuary for elephants, buffalo, dogs, cats, birds and many other rescued animals.

Your visit starts with a picturesque drive through rural countryside to Elephant Nature Park. You will hear the personal stories of rescued and orphaned elephants. See how they became a proud herd and free from abuse for the first time in their lives. Feeding the Elephants. Distributing fruit treats to the elephants at the elephants from the viewing platform.

Lunch: Enjoy a healthy varied vegetarian buffet of Asian and International dishes. Walk with our staff and the elephants, with no riding, to the river that skirts the park. You can watch the elephants bathe and play, while you stay dry on the river bank. Your visit helps support our regional projects and offers an invaluable opportunity of helping elephant conservation.

Early afternoon and it`s time for goodbyes to the elephants and to Elephant Nature Park and transfer back to hotel.

At 04:00pm you will be pick up to Cooking Class but before class, we will visit an authentic Thai local market where students will learn about real Thai shopping. We will teach you how to choose the best sample of each ingredient so that your dishes will be successful even before you start cooking!

At cooking classes taught here are fun and delicious. Recipes taught are beneficial in that they can be recreated at home! Classes are small, so the environment is more close and friendly. Teachers are more capable to give students personal help.

Day 3: Tiger Kingdom - Chiang Mai Temple – Long Neck Village

Meals: B / L

After breakfast this morning you will head to Tiger Kingdom you also will have a chance to touch the big tiger and the baby tiger you also will get the Photo after this visit. The first Tiger Kingdom branch was founded in upon rachatanee in the year 2000 and was named Ubon Zoo. There we have many kinds of animals. Nowadays, we have more than 50 – 60 tigers at the zoo and this number will continue to increase in the future as the breeding program continues to become more successful.

Then you will continue to visit the most prominent temples in Chiang Mai. Start with Wat Phra Singh which houses the famous Phra Singh Buddha image. It features Lanna art throughout and illustrates many famous Buddhist stories.

Continue on to Wat Chedi Luang, which once contained the Emerald Buddha. The temple is partially in ruins due to an earthquake in the 1500s.

Then stop at Wat Chiang Man which is the oldest temple in Chiang Mai and also houses one of Thailand's greatest treasures: the Crystal Buddha (usually only able to be seen on Sundays and certain festival dates).

The last stop they will visit the Long Neck Karen village to see the long neck hill tribe people who relocated from the Thai and Myanmar border. Then back to Chiang Mai Hotel.

Day 4: Chiang Mai Fly to Bangkok - Ayutthaya and summer palace

Meals: B / L

Early morning today you will transfer to airport for fly to Bangkok, upon arrive you will transfer to hotel for check in, after a short rest you will depart Bangkok and journey north to the former capital of the Ayutthaya Kingdom at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Ayutthaya Historical Park. Look closer at the iconic buildings and archaeological wonders of a 14th-century Siamese capital, including temples and statues.

Go to the majestic Bang Pa-In Palace to see the former summer residence of the Thai royal family  then continue to Wat Niwet Thammaprawat Gothic Temple, Wat Niwet Thammaprawat is most intriguing because it's the only Neo-Gothic monastery in Thailand and is located on an island in the Chao Phraya River opposite the Bang Pa In Palace near Ayutthaya.

Access is gained through a cable car strung across the river and manned by the monks from the temple.

Then continued to the Ayutthaya enjoy a delicious Thai lunch at local restaurant and then we move to near the Muslim quarter and sample one of the most famous delights of Ayutthaya – and try candy floss roti.

After continued to Historical Park and visit to the ancient palace ground. Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, once a royal temple lying beside the Grand Palace, was once the most significant temple during Ayutthaya period. Adjacent to Wat Phra Sri Sanphet is Viharn Phra Mongkolbopit, an impressive building that houses a large seated bronze Buddha image. Its rebuilt pristine hall was believed to be a replica of the old Assembly Hall of Ayutthaya.,

We continue to Wat Mahathat, a classic temple ruin of Ayutthaya and famous for the picturesque Buddha head engulfed by the Bodhi tree roots. The foundation size, remaining prangs, and towers attest the significance during its time.  And continued to visit Wat Ratchaburana, also called the Monastery of the Royal Repairs or the Ayutthaya at The Wasukri Sub-district. Before back to Bangkok and transfer you to hotel by private car.

Day 5: Full Day Relaxing

Day 6: Arrive in Hanoi

Upon arrival Hanoi, you will meet your local guide in Saigon and escorts you to the hotel.

In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner on the cruise ship sails along the Saigon River where you will enjoy the beautiful night scenery of Hanoi.

Day 7: Hanoi-100 year’s old city

Meals: B / L / D

This morning see the Tran Quoc Pagoda. This 1,400 year old temple features ten tiers enclosed by gardens, including a Bodhi tree grown from a cutting of the original Buddhist tree under which Buddha sat. Stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake where you’ll see the Tortoise Tower perched on the water. Enjoy a half hour cyclo tour through Hanoi’s the Old Quarter. The cyclo is a historic mode of transportation in the cities of Vietnam where a cyclist leads you while you sit in a canopied seat affixed to the front. Next, visit the One Pillar Pagoda, situated on a pillar made of a single stone, in the midst of a lotus pond. This pagoda was built by a 9th century emperor who saw it in a dream and regarded this as divine inspiration to recreate the structure in his vision. You'll pass by the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum before visiting the highlight of this day - The Temple of Literature. This ancient university was erected almost a millennium ago and has hosted many of the most prominent scholars through Vietnamese history. The site features many gardens, pools, buildings, and ancient trees where Vietnam’s best and brightest studied under the guidance of Confucius teachings.

Day 8: Full Day Halong Bay Cruise/Flight to Hoian

Meals: B / L / D

Full day excursion to Halong Bay to discover the world’s natural wander. Once at Halong Bay City, you will be welcomed on board for a four-hour cruise on the stunning bay, stopping along the way to visit one of the limestone caves in the area. As you are cruising, the boat crew will serve you a sumptuous local seafood lunch. After 4 hours, you will sail back to the harbor, rejoin car, and head back to Hanoi airport for onward flight to Hoian.

Day 9: Full Day My Son Heritage, Hoian Ancient Town

Meals: B / L / D

Visit the My Son Holy Land in the morning to discover the ruined temple which was built in the 4th century. When drive back to Hoian, visit the historical Hoian Ancient Town includes the colorful local market, the Tan Ky Old House, Fukien Assembly Hall and the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge. You can also visit the local residents raising silkworms and producing silk for Hoi An’s burgeoning textile industry. In the evening, the local people will hang up the red lanterns, it will give you the feeling of traveling back to ancient time.

Day 10: Flight to Saigon

Enjoy your breakfast and free morning until transfer you to airport for onward flight to Saigon. Upon your arrival in Saigon, your private guide and driver will welcome you at the airport then escort you to airport for check in. Rest of day on your own leisure.

Day 11: Full day Saigon city tour

In the morning, you will visit the Cu Chi Tunnels to see the complicate tunnel system the Vietnamese built in the war time. In the afternoon, drive back to the city and visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Pot Office, and the Chinatown of the city with the Emperor Jade Pagoda (Phuoc Hai).

Day 12: My Tho (Bentre)—Discover Mekong Delta!

Enjoy a full day tour from Saigon to My Tho to discover the Mekong River Delta, which is famed as the ‘rice bowl’ of Vietnam. You will take a private boat tour through the water coconut forest to center of Mekong Delta, enjoy a biking tour (about 1 hour) to discover the villages and a sampan trip through the narrow canals. Transfer back to Saigon in the afternoon. In the evening, you will enjoy your free time wander around the city center of Saigon and the nigh market.

Day 13: Arrive in Siem Reap, Half Day Angkor Wat

Angkor Wat—impressed by the magnificent temple of Angkor Wat.

Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you will be welcomed by our local guide at the airport then escorts to hotel. After check in and a short rest, your private guide will escort you to discover the world’s wonder site—Angkor Wat, the magnificent temple was built in 12th century and it is the largest first Hindu, Buddhist temple complex and the largest religious monument in the world. On your way back to Siem Reap, enjoy the sunset from the top of the pyramid-shaped temple of Pre Rup.

In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with Cambodian folk cultural Apsara Dancing Show.

Day 14: Full Day Angkor Thom & Ta Prohm Temple

Meals: B / L

After breakfast, the cool weather and less traffic is perfect for you to travel in a Tuk Tuk to visit the ancient city Angkor Thom which was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire. The tour in Angkor Thom will starts from the South Gate and walk along the ancient city wall to see the lost temple of Prasat Chroung, then continue to the Bayon temple where you will be surrounded by 216 gigantic stone faces which fame as "smile of Angkor".  You will also visit the Terrace of the Elephants, the Royal Palace and the Terrace of the Leper King.

When weather gets hot, your driver will pick you up and you can enjoy air-condition and cold drinks inside your private car while transferring you to Temple of Ta Prohm which is wildly known as “lost to the jungle temple”.

Rest of the day is at leisure. 

Day 15: Full Day Tonle Sap Lake, Kompong Phluk

Meals: B / L

In the morning, visit a half day excursion to the biggest Southeast Asia’s largest fresh water lake—Tonle Sap Lake. You will firstly enjoy a fun ox cart ride through the countryside, continue to have a boat trip to enjoy the beautiful lake view and mangrove forest on the lake, then spend rest of the morning at the largest village on the lake which is called Kompong Phluk, to discover the fascinating daily lives of the local people who leave on the water.

Rest of the day is at leisure for you to relax.

Day 16: Flight to Phnom Penh or by private car

Option 1: Siem Reap to Phnom Penh by air.

Transfer via: Domestic flight is on Indochina Tour's arrangement

Enjoy the morning at leisure until transfer to airport for onward flight to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival Phnom Penh, you will meet your local guide at the airport then transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Option 2: Siem Reap to Phnom Penh by private car.

Driving from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh will take us about 7.5-8 hours including stop to visit some attractions along the way and lunch in the midway.

After depart from hotel, you will firstly stop to visit the Naga Bridge which was built in 12th century but perfectly preserved and now still using by local people. An ancient bridge. Second stop will be around lunch time in Kompong Thom Town to visit the ruined temples in Sombor Prei Kuk which used to be the ancient capital of the Khmer in the pre-Angkorian period between 6th and 7th century. After lunch, you will keep driving towards Phnom Penh, you will stop to for a rest in a local market where people selling deep fried spiders and other incect as their local special delicacy. Arrive in Phnom Penh in the afternoon and check in hotel.

Day 17: Full Day Phnom Penh City Tour

Meals: B / L

Today you will enjoy a full day city tour. You will visit the Wat Phnom Temple which dedicated to Vishnu and Shiva, then visit the National Museum where you will see the large collection of Khmer history, arts and architecture. You will also visit the Silver Pagoda which has 5,000 silver tiles on the floor and a visit to the Royal Palace where the Khmer royal family leaves.

Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 18: Arrive in Yangon

Flight: International flight on your own arrangement or on requests.

Welcome to Myanmar, the country just opened itself to the world and now waiting people to discover its unique Buddhist culture and heritage.

Upon your arrival in Yangon, the former capital of Myanmar but nowadays one of the most developed city in Myanmar, your local guide will welcome you at the airport then escort you to hotel.

Day 19: Full Day Yangon City Tour

Rise early in the morning to visit the Shwedagon Pagoda which is the largest pagoda with painted real gold in Yangon. Benefit for visit the pagoda in early morning you will enjoy an quiet and extremely peaceful atmosphere to watch local people and monks pray in front of the Pagoda.

Transfer back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast you will visit the Reclining Buddha (Chaok-Htat-Gyi) and Mahabandoola Park.

Have some rest after lunch, in the afternoon, enjoy some free time wander around in Bogyoke Market and the then Bogyoke Market busy treets of Yangon’s famous China Town and Yangon Jetty. Finish your day off at the riverside where the road flanked by colonize style builds which will give you the impression of Myanmar in old time. 

Day 20: Yangon – Bagan, Full day awesome temple tour

Transfer to airport for domestic flight to Bagan in early morning.

Upon arrival in Bagan, you will be welcomed by your local guide at the airport then transfer you to hotel.

Bagan, where you will be amazed by its thousands of Buddhists pagodas spread in the area of the Ancient City of ‘Bagan’. These pagodas used to own by individual families during its prosperous time.

Your will visit the Nyaung Oo Market where local people buying food in daily life, visit the Shwezigon Pagoda which is the largest pagoda in Bagan painted with real gold.

Have a rest in hotel in the hottest time in afternoon. Then enjoy a Horse Cart Ride for the sun set, you will climb up to the top of the Shesandaw Pagoda for sun set then take the horse cart back to hotel. It is a unforgettable feeling of taking the horse cart ride on the off road treks through the pagodas when it’s quiet in dusk.

Day 21: Flight to Heho, Inle Lake

Meals: B / L

Transfer to airport for onward flight to Heho where you will be picked up and transfer you to your hotel by the lakeside of Inle Lake.

Inle Lake locates in the highland of Myanmar in an altitude of around 3,000 feet above sea level.  Here you will enjoy different atmosphere and ambience from middle part of Myanmar.

After check in hotel, enjoy your day at leisure to relax. 

Day 22: Full Day Inle Lake Excursion

Meals: B / L

Your Excursion today will be made by long tail boat to see life of In-tha (name of local ethnic people live on the lake), to discover their unique floating farms and life on floating village. You will also see how the local fisher to fish with only one leg paddling the boat and the Long Neck Ladies who were relocated from the Myanmar and Thailand border.

Rest of the day is at leisure to relax.

Day 23: Flight to Mandalay, Half Day Mandalay City Tour

Meals: B / L / D

Enjoy free time in the morning until transfer to airport for onward flight to Mandalay. Upon you arrive in Mandalay, you local guide will meet you in the airport and escort you to hotel.

After a rest in the hotel, you will visit Mahamuni Image where you will see local people pray and stick gold paper on the Buddha for blessing. You can also try to make your wish and donate money (buy) for gold paper to stick the gold paper on the statue (only man allowed to stick the gold). On the way to the Mahamuni Image, you will visit a gold paper factory to see how people made the gold leaf. Visit the Shwenandaw Monastery which means ‘Golden Palace Monastery” and was built in 19th century and well known for its teak carving of Buddhist myths. Visit the Kuthodaw Pagoda which is a Buddhist stupa that contains the world’s largest book of Buddhism.

Finish your day at the top of Mandalay Hill for a stunning sun set. 

Day 24: Full Day Amarapura Tour

In the morning, about 30 mins drive to Sagaing, the capital of Sagaing Division in Myanmar and located on the Ayeyarwady River, 20 km to the southwest of Mandalay on the opposite bank of the river. Cross Innwa Bridge, built by British in 1934. Firstly you will visit the Maha Ganayon Kyaung Monastery to see hundreds of monks line up for daily meals at 10:15am. Then visit the U Bein Bridge which is 1.2 kilometers long and is the longest teakwood bridge in the world.

Continue to visit Kaung Mu Taw Pagoda; the dome shaped pagoda rises up to 46 meters. At the base of the pagoda there are 812 stone pillars, each one with a hollow and an image of a Nat in it. Continue visit to Sagaing Hill, the hill has a number of small pagodas and with many meditation centers and Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda; it is located on Sagaing Hill. You can stop at monasteries and nunneries and talk with them while taking green tea from hot tea pot and palm-sugar.

Lunch at local restaurant in Sagaing and take a short break, then continue visit Amarapura,"City of Immortality" situated 11 km to the south of Mandalay and the ancient temple of Pahtodawgyi which was built in 1820 in the Inva ancient town.

Drive back to Mandalay and rest of the day is at leasure. 

Day 25: Departure from Mandalay

Enjoy relaxing time in the morning until transfer to airport for your onward international flight.
