Day 2: Damnoen Saduak Floating Market /Kanchanabury and WWII

Meals: B

This morning visit Damnoen Saduak Floating Market where you will experience the traditional Thai market with numerous vendors selling local foods, fruits and products from their boats. Explore the market before continuing on to Kanchanburi to learn about the region's storied past and present-day culture. Made famous by the book and movie The Bridge on the River Kwai, the infamous bridge and railway is a notable part of the Kanchanaburi landscape. Visit the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre to get an understanding of the deadly, Herculean task many Thais were faced with decades ago.

Then continue to Prasat Muang Sing Historical Park. The park is full of examples of the Khmar influenced architecture in this part of Thailand.

Day 3: Bangkok City Highlight – Flight to Chiang Rai

Private local guide from IndochinaTour.com will welcome you at the airport then escorts you to visit the Grand Palace, a beautiful example of an ancient Siamese court, and Wat Phra Kaew, home to the revered Emerald Buddha statue. Then, ride like a Local by tuk-tuk to Wat Pho temple, to behold the 150-foot-long Reclining Buddha statue. Next, explore the city’s renowned klongs (canals) by boat and cruise the Chao Phraya River. Also visit Wat Arun and the Royal Barge Museum, then transfer to airport for flight to Chiang Rai.

Day 4: Doi Mae Salong - Discover Golden Striangle

The golden triangle is a mysterious region for most of Indochina tour makes, today you will enjoy a full day excursion to the heart of golden triangle region.

Your fascinating day will start from morning by firstly visit the Long Neck Karen village to see the long neck hill tribe people who relocated from the Thai and Myanmar border. If it is possible, you will also able to visit a Cock Fighting near the hill tribe village. Keep driving to Mt. Doi Mae Salong and visit the Chinese village on the top of the mountain. Lunch will be at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, continue the trip to the highest peak on the Thai-Myanmar border. Doi Tung, provides an opportunity to view enrooted many different Lahu and Akha village as well as terraced farming areas and see from distance the Princess Mother's frigid flower Garden. Doi Tung temple, built in A.D.1493, is located at the peak. Its scenery reminds one of Switzerland, features many unique images and temple architecture overlooking the entire northern rice field plain. Return to the hotel and rest of the day free at leisure.

Day 5: Chiang Rai | Chiang Mai

After breakfast, visit the White Temple, is an unusual Thai temple designed by artist Chalermchai Kositpipat, who mixes traditional Buddhist temple architecture with pop culture references. Keep driving around 30 minutes to Chiang Mai, visit the Meow Hill Tribe Village where locates on the Mountain Doi Pui and it was once famous for opium cultivation. Continue to visit the Temple Wat Doi Suthep where you will enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the Chiang Mai City. If you like, here is also one of the best places to enjoy sunset.

Day 6: Elephant Safari

A fun and memorable Indochina tour is not complete without the experience of elephant. Today you will visit the Elephant Camp at Mae Taman Camp. You will see how the elephants works, and you will have chance to ride the elephant across the river and through the forest around 1 hour. Return by Ox Cart to the elephant village for lunch.

Day 7: Arrive in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City)

Upon arrival Saigon, you will meet your local guide in Saigon and escorts you to the hotel.

In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner on the cruise ship sails along the Saigon river where you will enjoy the beautiful night scenery of Saigon.

Day 8: My Tho (Bentre)—Discover Mekong Delta!

Enjoy a full day tour from Saigon to My Tho to discover the Mekong River Delta, which is famed as the ‘rice bowl’ of Vietnam. You will take a private boat tour through the water coconut forest to center of Mekong Delta, enjoy a biking tour (about 1 hour) to discover the villages and a sampan trip through the narrow canals. Transfer back to Saigon in the afternoon.

In the evening, you will enjoy your free time wander around the city center of Saigon and the nigh market.

Day 9: Full day Saigon city tour, flight to Hoian

In the morning, you will visit the Cu Chi Tunnels to see the complicate tunnel system the Vietnamese built in the war time. In the afternoon, drive back to the city and visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Pot Office, and the Chinatown of the city with the Emperor Jade Pagoda (Phuoc Hai).

Fly to Danang and check in hotel in Hoian.

Day 10: Full Day My Son Heritage, Hoian Ancient Town

Visit the My Son Holy Land in the morning to discover the ruined temple which was built in the 4th century. When drive back to Hoian, visit the historical Hoian Ancient Town includes the colorful local market, the Tan Ky Old House, Fukien Assembly Hall and the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge. You can also visit the local residents raising silkworms and producing silk for Hoi An’s burgeoning textile industry.

In the evening, the local people will hang up the red lanterns, it will give you the feeling of traveling back to ancient time.

Day 11: Flight to Hanoi in the afternoon

Enjoy the morning free on your own to be relax. In the afternoon, fly to Hanoi in the afternoon.

Full day excursion to Halong Bay to discover the world’s natural wander. As you are cruising, the boat crew will serve you a sumptuous local seafood lunch. After 4 hours, you will sail back to the harbor, rejoin car, and head back to your hotel for another night's stay in Hanoi.

Day 14: Half Day Angkor Wat Temple - Tonle Sap Lake - Cambodia Phare Circus

After breakfast, continue to witness the marvelous Angkor Wat – the world’s heritage l isted by UNESCO in 1992 and the largest monument in the world. Unlock the amazing history, its ancestral incredible, architectural masterpieces and the finest carvings dates back to the Khmer Empire when it dominated the largest parts of Southeast Asia.

After Lunch, a half day excursion to the biggest Southeast Asia’s largest fresh water lake—Tonle Sap Lake. You’ll take a fun ox cart ride through the countryside, Continue on a boat trip to enjoy the beautiful lake views and mangrove forests. Spend rest of the morning at Kompong Phluk, the largest village on the lake, to discover the fascinating daily lifestyle of the local people who live on the water.

For a unique experience this evening our driver will take you to see a performance of the Phare Cambodian Circus from the best VIP seats in the house.  Theater, story, dance, high-energy music and circus acts tell uniquely Cambodian stories.  These circus artists will astonish you with their energy, emotion, enthusiasm and talent.

After the tour you will transfer back to hotel and rest on your own leisure.

Day 15: Peace Museum and Half Day Temple Tour- Apsara Dinner Show

After breakfast you will visit PEACE Museum in Siem Reap as you mentioned. The Peace Museum of Mine Action supports Peace and Development through Landmine/UXO Clearance in Cambodia. This Museum is the first under the direction of CMAC (Cambodian Mine Action Center) the authority responsible for clearing UXO in Cambodia. The museum contains a huge selection of Explosive Remnants of War and offers guided tours on the history of conflict and offers guided tours. (http://www.centrepeaceconflictstudies.org).

After lunch will continue for half day guided Angkor exploration, start with the south gate of Angkor Thom atop 4 giant faces, stroll to explore Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces in stone, admired by interesting temples including Baphuon, Phimeanakas, terrace of leper king, terrace of elephant & Ta Prohm temple adorned with the stunning tree roots where Lara Croft Tomb Raider was filmed. On your way back to Siem Reap, enjoy the sunset from the top of the pyramid-shaped temple of Pre Rup.

After the tour you will transfer back to hotel and rest on your own leisure.

In the evening, you will enjoy dinner with traditional Khmer Apsara Dancing Show at Angkor Village Resort.

Day 17: Yangon Capital Highlights | Royal Style Dinner

Meals: B / L / D

After breakfast, visit the downtown area to see the Old City Hall, and Maharbandoola Park. Then stroll along the old street ending at the old Strand Hotel. Next, drive to Botahtaung Pagoda which features golden decorations inside. Continue to Bogyoke Market which sells many Burmese traditional handicrafts including stone, wood and bronze carvings, and much more. .In the afternoon, visit Kandawgyi Park near Chaukhtetgyi Reclining Buddha Image – one of the largest in Yangon. Continue to the highlight of Yangon: the golden Shwedagon Pagoda, which has been described as one of the wonders of the world. Shwedagon plays a very important role in the Old Burmese History and also is an important Buddhist icon. Enjoy the sunset over the pagoda. In the evening, enjoy a Cultural Dinner Show on the Karaweik Palace, which is a floating marble boat. The show features the traditional instruments, attire, and dances of Burma conveying the ten national arts. After the show, return to your hotel for the evening.

Day 18: Flight to Mandalay| Half Day City Tour

After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Mandalay, upon arrive, guide meet at the airport and escort to your hotel for check in . In the afternoon, start to an exploration of the wealth of monuments found in and around Mandalay. Stop by the Mahamuni Pagoda, home to a Buddha image famous for its adornment of gold foil and crown made of rubies, sapphires, emeralds, and jade. The resulting mass of precious metals and jewels weighs in at more than a ton (900 kilograms). You’ll also stop by the Shwenandaw Kyaung (Golden Palace Monastery) and Shwe Inbin Monastery, two Buddhist complexes that help illustrate Mandalay’s unique architectural heritage. Continue your trip at Kuthodaw Pagoda, a Buddhist stupa (religious structure) located at the foot of Mandalay Hill that’s famous for its 729 marble slabs, each of which is inscribed with a Buddhist teaching. Then, the will visit Atumashi Monastery which was built in 1857 by King Mindon, two years after the capital was moved to Mandalay. Lastly, you'll visit Mandalay Hill and enjoy the sunset over Mandalay. Then transfer back to your hotel

Day 19: Amarapura Ancient Capital

Morning: Transfer to Sagiang, the capital of Sagiang Division located on the Irrawady River. Cross the Inwa Bridge, which was built by the British in 1934. Then visit the Maha Ganayon Kyaung Monastery to see hundreds of monks line up for daily meals. On to visit the U Bein Bridge which is 1.2 kilometers long and is the longest teakwood bridge in the world. Next visit Kaung Mu Taw Pagoda: a dome shaped pagoda which rises up 46 meters. At the base of the pagoda there are 812 stone pillars, each one with a hollow and image of a Nat inside. Continue with a visit to Sagaing Hill. The hill has a number of small pagodas with many meditation centers along with Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda – a pagoda painted in gold. You may want to stop at monasteries and nunneries to speak with monks while enjoying hot green tea. Then continue with a visit of Amarapura,"City of Immortality", and the old capital of Myanmar. At the end of the day, visit the ancient temple of Pahtodawgyi which was built in 1820.
