Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi

Upon arrival Hanoi, you will meet your local guide in Hanoi and escorts you to the hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour—Discover the capital city of Vietnam.

Hanoi, capital of Vietnam, oriental style old buildings, luxuriant trees along street, local market, motor-bikes, etc, A city tour in Hanoi will give you the first impression of oriental. In the city tour, you will visit the Hochiminh Mausoleum and his former, the One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, Vietnam Museum of Ethnology or Vietnam History Museum, Hoan Kiem Lake and a Cyclo tour to the old quarter of Hanoi. Finish your day off at the Thang Long Opera Theatre for a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. In the evening, board the overnight train to Lao Cai to discover the mountain tribes in northern Vietnam.

Day 3: Arrive in Lao Cai, Sapa—Stunning mountain view and terrace fields, primitive villages

Arrive in Lao Cai railway station in early morning around 6:30 am. You guide will pick you up from the train and then escort you to your hotel in the highland town Sapa. Enjoy breakfast in hotel and have a short rest. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing walking tour through the beautiful rice terrace fields, visit the Ta Van Village and Red Dao Village to discover the local ethnic tribe Back H’mong and Giang Ta Chai.

Day 4: Full Day Bac Ha market—impress by the color of the ethnic costume & authentic tribes

Leave Sapa in the morning and drive to Bac Ha Market (approximately 2.5 hours drive). Be impressed by the colorful costume of the local Flower H’mong people, and experience the local market and discover the local life of the ethnic people. In the afternoon, visit the Trung Do village to enjoy a water buffalo cart ride through the beautiful rice fields and the village to the riverside, then take a boat ride along the Chay River for about 30 minutes.

Day 5: Transfer to Hanoi

After a light breakfast, we will drive Halong City for the Halong Bay Cruise. Upon arrival, you will board the cruise ship for a relaxing Halong Bay Cruise through the stunning Halong Bay. Your cruise across Halong Bay starts around noon cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay. We start sailing among famous Islets (Indochina studio, Am Islets…) of Bai Tu Long Bay.Visit and explore the Thien Canh Son Cave and Kayaking. One of the highlights of your stay on board is the innovative and varied cuisine offered at Lunch and Dinner in the elegant dining-room, accompanied by a wide selection of wines and beverages from around the world.

Day 7: Halong Bay/Return to Hanoi/ flight to Siem Reap

Day 8: Angkor Thom Ancient Capital

After breakfast, begin your explorations of the remains of an ancient civilization that once ruled much of Southeast Asia. Today, visit the ancient capital city of Angkor Thom. First on the agenda is Ta Prohm. Worn by time, rain, and overpowered by the jungle, this immaculate structure hidden under a canopy will leave you feeling as if you’d stepped into an adventure movie set. Then visit Banteay Kdei ("Citadel of Chambers”). Continue on to the Victory Gate, the Terrace of the Leper King, the Royal Palace, and Baphuon and Bayon. Bayon sets itself apart with its almost 200 smiling faces, sure to make you feel welcomed on your second day to the Kingdom of Wonders. With its winding tunnels, chambers, and daring climbs, Bayon offers many picturesque moments to keep your camera busy. In the afternoon, be prepared today for one of the Seven Wonders of the World: Angkor Wat. Enter Angkor Wat and to view its amazing architecture and history. Angkor Wat possesses some of the longest and most intricate stone carving. This complex is four times the size of the Vatican City making it the largest religious site in the world. Spend the morning exploring through the many passages, levels, and chambers that once housed many treasures of the ancient world. In the evening, you will enjoy a dinner with Khmer traditional Apsara Dancing Show.

Day 9: Banteay Srei , Tonle Sap Lake, Kompong Phluk

In the morning, continue on to the remote temple of Banteay Srei: set deep in the jungle. The Citadel of Women, Banteay Srei was carved from red sandstone, a medium that lends itself to elaborate decorative wall carvings, which are well preserved to this day. The buildings themselves are miniature in scale in comparison to the other colossal temples around Siem Reap, unusually so when measured by the standards of Angkorian construction. This temple is considered the jewel of Khmer art..

In the afternoon, a half day excursion to the biggest Southeast Asia’s largest fresh water lake—Tonle Sap Lake. Continue on a boat trip to enjoy the beautiful lake views and mangrove forests. Spend rest of the morning at Kompong Phluk, the largest village on the lak , to discover the fascinating daily lifestyle of the local people who live on the water.

Day 10: Flight to Bangkok | Bangkok City Highlight

This morning, you will transfer to airport for onward flight to Bangkok. This morning visit Damnoen Saduak Floating Market where you will experience the traditional Thai market with  numerous vendors selling local foods, fruits and products from their boats. Explore the market before continuing on to Kanchanburi to learn about the region's storied past and present-day culture. Made famous by the book and movie The Bridge on the River Kwai, the infamous bridge and railway is a notable part of the Kanchanaburi landscape. Visit the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre to get an understanding of the deadly, Herculean task many Thais were faced with decades ago. Then continue to Prasat Muang Sing Historical Park. The park is full of examples of the Khmar influenced architecture in this part of Thailand. Take some time to just relax here, before making your way back to Bangkok hotel.
