Day 1: Welcome to Saigon

Flight: International flight on your own arrangement

Welcome to Vietnam! The land of unique culture and stunning natural view.Upon your arrival, your local tour guide will welcome you at the airport then escort you to hotel with private car. Check in hotel and relax.

A welcome dinner with traditional Vietnamese music will give you a first taste of Vietnamese cuisine and their culture.

Day 2: Saigon - Cu Chi Tunnel & Saigon City Discovery Tour

Today you will visit the famous site Cu Chi Tunnels and highlights of Ho Chi Minh City

In the morning, your guide will greet you at the lobby and escort you to the Cu Chi Tunnels. An immense network of connecting underground tunnels used during the war, you'll explore the complex and see the ingenious traps, bomb holes, and narrow tunnels between underground bunkers.

In the afternoon, you'll come back to Ho Chi Minh City to visit the Reunification Palace, which was the home to the President of South Vietnam during the War, and the place of the end of the war during the fall of Saigon.The Notre Dame Cathedral constructed by French colonists during their settlement. Across the road is the Old Saigon Post Office a neoclassical architectural building which is considered one of the main tourist attractions in the city. The next stop is Cholon , the Chinatown of Saigon, a thickly settled district rife with tea-houses and pagodas, and the famous Binh Tay Market.To finish the tour, you'll visit the Emperor Jade Pagoda, also know as the Tortoise pagoda. This figurine-filled site of worship is considered by many to be Saigon's finest.When we finish the tour, you will be escorted back to hotel and rest of the day is leisure time for you.

Day 4: Flight to Luang Prabang

Today you will continue your amazing Indochina Tour in Laos from Vientiane to Luang Prabang.

Enjoy relaxing time in the morning until transfer you to the airport for onward flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, you will meet your private local guide from Indochinatour.com and escort you to hotel.

Rest of the day is at leisure. In the evening, you can wander around the city and the night market  to discover local life of Luang Prabang.

Day 5: Temple Touring Full Day

Breakfast is at hotel. We depart hotel at 8.00am for full day guided Angkor exploration, start with the south gate of Angkor Thom atop 4 giant faces, stroll to explore Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces in stone, admired by interesting temples including Baphuon, Phimeanakas, terrace of leper king, terrace of elephant & Ta Prohm temple adorned with the stunning tree roots where Lara Croft Tomb Raider was filmed. 

After lunch, continue to witness the marvelous Angkor Wat – the world’s heritage listed by UNESCO in 1992 and the largest monument in the world. Unlock the amazing history, its ancestral incredible, architectural masterpieces and the finest carvings dates back to the Khmer Empire when it dominated the largest parts of Southeast Asia. On your way back to Siem Reap, enjoy the sunset from the top of the pyramid-shaped temple of Pre Rup.

Day 7: Kuang Si Waterfalls, Half Day City Tour

Luang Prabang, the city surrounded by Mekong River and well known for its golden city is well known for its beautiful decorated Buddhist temples, it is a place that you will keep appearing in your mind for long time after your Indochina tour.

Your memorable trip will starts from partaking in an alms ritual in the morning, you will accepts the blessing by monks who you give the alms. Have breakfast in the hotel and then start the half day excursion to Kuang Si Waterfalls, where you will enjoy beautiful natural scenery, have fun in waterfalls and relax.

Drive back to the town for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Wat Xiengthong which is symbolic temple of the classic Laotian architecture, visit the Royal Palace Musem to learn some history of Laos. Then visit the B which means “Monastery of the Opened Heart” and the Stupa of Wat Visoun.

Day 8: Pak Ou Cave, the thousands Buddha Cave

Meals: B / L

Today you will embark on a private boat for a 2 hours boat trip along the Mekong River to the Pak Ou Cave. Along the boat trip, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery along the Mekong River and see daily life of local people in riverside fishing village.

Visit the Pak Ou Cave which locates by the Mekong River and you will discover numbers of gold-lacquered Buddha statues in the cave. After visiting, take the boat back to Luang Prabang and rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 9: Flight to Chiang Mai Via Bangkok

Today you will take flight to Chiang Mai, and upon arrival you will meet your tour guide in airport and transfer to hotel for check-in. and the rest of today is at your own leisure..

Day 10: Doi Mae Salong - Discover Golden Striangle

Meals: B / L

The golden triangle is a mysterious region for most of Indochina tour makes, today you will enjoy a full day excursion to the heart of golden triangle region.

Your fascinating day will start from morning by firstly visit the Long Neck Karen village to see the long neck hill tribe people who relocated from the Thai and Myanmar border. If it is possible, Keep driving to Mt. Doi Mae Salong and visit the Chinese village on the top of the mountain. Lunch will be at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, continue the trip to the highest peak on the Thai-Myanmar border. Doi Tung, provides an opportunity to view enrooted many different Lahu and Akha village as well as terraced farming areas and see from distance the Princess Mother's frigid flower Garden.  Doi Tung temple, built in A.D.1493, is located at the peak. Its scenery reminds one of Switzerland, features many unique images and temple architecture over looking the entire northern rice field plain.  Return to the hotel and rest of the day free at leisure.

Day 11: Chiang Rai | Chiang Mai

After breakfast, visit the White Temple, is an unusual Thai temple designed by artist ChalermchaiKositpipat, who mixes traditional Buddhist temple architecture with pop culture references.Keep driving to Chiang Mai, visit the Meow Hill Tribe Village where locates on the Mountain Doi Pui and it was once famous for opium cultivation. Continue to visit the Temple Wat Doi Suthep where you will enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the Chiang Mai City. If you like, here is also one of the best places to enjoy sunset.

Day 12: Flight to Yangon

In the morning, transfer by flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check in.

Day 13: Saigon - Can Tho Mekong Delta Discovery

Today you will discover the Mekong River and villages at the Mekong Delta region, essential to Vietnamese life

Your private guide and car will take you to the remote My Tho.This burgeoning capital rests in the Mekong Delta and is surrounded by beautiful countryside known as the "rice basket of Vietnam". First you'll Vinh Trang Pagoda which is decorated with mosaics made from broken pottery. Overlooked by a tall white Buddha, it is set amongst lovely gardens packed with flowers, shrubs, lotus pools and tombs and ornate gates which provide entry. Next, you'll take a boat ride along the river to view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages. You'll stop at the Tortoise Island where you'll enjoy lunch (own expense) in the orchard.

After lunch you'll visit An Khanh, a small village that specializes in fruit orchards and coconut sweets. If time permits, you can take a short cycling trip through the island. Then enjoy seasonal fruit, honey tea, and delicious coconut candies all to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by locals.When the tour is finished, you'll transfer to Can Tho.

Upon arrive in Can Tho, you will check in hotel and have a rest.

In the evening, you may wander around the night market in the centre of the small town, or enjoy some drinks at the riverside bars.

Day 13: Yangon Capital Highlights

After breakfast, visit the downtown area to see the Old City Hall, and Maharbandoola Park. Then stroll along the old street ending at the old Strand Hotel. Next, drive to Botahtaung Pagoda which features golden decorations inside. Continue to Bogyoke Market which sells many Burmese traditional handicrafts including stone, wood and bronze carvings, and much more. In the afternoon, visit Kandawgyi Park near Chaukhtetgyi Reclining Buddha Image – one of the largest in Yangon. Continue to the highlight of Yangon: the golden Shwedagon Pagoda, which has been described as one of the wonders of the world. Shwedagon plays a very important role in the Old Burmese History and also is an important Buddhist icon. Enjoy the sunset over the pagoda.

Day 14: Can Tho/Return to Saigon/ Flight to Siem Reap
