Day 01: Hanoi –  Hoa Binh - Lac Village
We depart from the busy metropolis and travel to Luong Son in the southwest. Luong Son is the entry point to the breathtakingly beautiful mountainous region of northern Vietnam. From there, cyclists may go on 12-day tours of the region on rolling asphalt roads that loop past hillside rice paddies, quaint village life, and more. We genuinely take pleasure in the brief glimpse of the truly amazing and breathtaking vista of the mountains, valleys, rice paddies, and sugarcane farms. On the way, we would stop for relaxation and lunch at a nearby restaurant.Following lunch, we make a quick transfer to the foot of Thung Khe Pass, where we start riding on a single-track trail and wind through slender ravine trails that wind around craggy mountain ranges and mountainside.Enjoying breathtaking views of Thai and Muong villages shaded by canopies and abundant vegetation, you make a lasting impression on young schoolchildren and cowboys who say hello as they head back to their homes. Day 02: Mai Chau – Moc Chau
We bid Mai Chau farewell after breakfast and leave the town behind. When we arrive in Bai Sang, we warm up by riding off-road alongside the Da River. Although today is difficult due to a long climb and potholed roads, we are rewarded by breathtaking scenery and friendly locals who live on both sides. Interestingly, we also ride on the official National Route No. 6, which is used to supply supplies and ammunition for the Dien Bien Phu Campaign. We pause for a picnic lunch and rest stop along the way. After lunch, we continue riding to the Moc Chau plateau. Day 03: riding a bike to investigate Plateau Moc Chau
Situated at an elevation of 1340 meters, Moc Chau is among the most stunning and pristine plateaus in the Northern highland region. Day 04: Moc Chau – Phu Yen
Following a full energy recharge at the resort, Leaving the foggy hilltop town behind, the cyclists embarked on a new cycling day on an asphalt road that meandered through verdant tea farms and meadows until coming to a junction and taking National Route 43, which connected Moc Chau and Phu Yen region.We continue our leisurely ascent to the summit, where we are surrounded by stunning views of the misty valleys and the natural environment of Northern Vietnam.We inspected our equipment before descending and winding through forested areas, mountain slopes, and hillsides to reach small, rural communities. We ride and conquer the short pass once more before entering the Da River and boarding a public ferry to reach Phu Yen land. We truly ride our bikes along a rolling riverbank to the Gai Phu intersection.Enjoy a picnic lunch along the way. After refueling, we mount our bikes and ride to Phu Yen across a huge green rice field. Day 05: Cycling Phu Yen - Ta Xua
It is a very difficult, demanding, and demanding day to ride a bicycle on the recently sealed road that links the two poorest districts of the two provinces in North West Vietnam, Yen Bai and Son La. Riding a bike on the peak of the hill, you can see the beautiful, expansive views of white clouds drifting across the tranquil valley and looming over your head.We cycle the first 12 kilometers out of town this morning on a comparatively level road, passing through terraced rice fields. We ride for the next 25 km, passing past minority communities and up winding roads into the massive limestone mountain range with its vertical rock cliffs. We climb 600 meters towards the mountain road pass that leads to Bac Yen. The people in the mountain villages we pass through, often shrouded in clouds, will greet us warmly. We have breathtaking views down from the pass, including the well-known panorama of the Hang Dong valley with the Ta Xua Nature Reserve.Lunch on the summit while taking in the gorgeous surroundings. We will get back on our bikes and ride to the camel ledge, lonely tree, Ta Xua meadows, and dolphin ledge once our energy has fully recovered.Taking the time to capture this breathtaking panoramic picture of Ta Xua Nature Reserve. Day 06: Cycling Ta Xua – Tram Tau
TAs dawn breaks and the night fog dissipates into the verdant flora, the bright crimson sunshine of early morning can be seen shimmering in the Xua, the highest peak of the cloud hunters.We're having another fantastic day on our adventure vacation, and we're spending even more time taking in the breathtaking scenery and untamed mountain tops. We begin each new day by cycling on a single-track trail through the idyllic, beautiful scenery that stretches from one hillside to the next, starting at the Ecolodge and continuing until twilight, when the Ta Xua mountains shed their enigmatic and somber cloak.It is a very difficult, demanding, and exhausting day of riding on a recently sealed road that connects the two poorest districts of the North West Vietnamese provinces of Son La and Yen Bai.There will be an amazing bicycle route that crosses the dinosaur spine mountain ranges to get from Ta Xua to Tram Tau. Tram Tau is well-known as a trekking hub for the surrounding peaks in the isolated area of Yen Bai Province.Situated almost a thousand meters above sea level, the pinnacle of the mountain is perpetually shrouded in clouds, resulting in an incredibly captivating and fascinating scenery that draws in a large number of visitors who enjoy climbing and exploring high mountain peaks.Although Tram Tau is a brand-new location, it gives young people a fever. The cycling route spanning over 50 km between Tram Tau, Ban Mu, and Nghia Lo features numerous picturesque and lyrical vistas that are reminiscent of images from fairy tales. Tram Tau is a site where the footsteps of wanderers hiding from the city are remembered because of its terraced fields and rice that ripens later than in other regions. In addition to being home to hundreds of spectacular virtual check-in angles and a natural hot spring source, the area has a "wild" beauty and is rich in Hmong customs and cuisine. We begin by cycling through three villages with incredibly beautiful rice terraces that are recognized as National Rice Terraces Heritages of Vietnam. After that, we ride along an undulating road alongside a river until we reach Thanh Uyen. The Khau Pa pass is a 25 km long climb pass.
After refueling at the hotel, we begin cycling. We warm up by climbing the 25 km long Khau Pha, which is the fifth longest and most difficult pass in North Vietnam. Along the pass, we are rewarded with stunning scenery and fresh air in the morning. When we reach the summit, coffee, tea, and snacks are available for you before descending to Mu Cang Chai.
Mu Cang Chai is in the center of Vietnam's northwest region. It extols the virtues of pure nature and breathtaking surroundings. In particular, the Vietnam National Heritage Site is a rice terrace paddy. Numerous generations of Hmong people have tended to the terraced fields, starting with the yellowing of the fields.
We pause in Mu Cang Chai Town for lunch. After lunch, we cycle through the town, tour the market, and continue on an undulating route that veers along the riverbank and hillside until we reach Kim Junction. The longest pass of the day, measuring 46 km and separating the provinces of Lai Chau and Lao Cai, is the most difficult one. At the Tram Ton Summit, which is 2,200 meters above sea level, we will be enthralled by the stunning limestone mountains and the Indochina Roof Fansipang (3143m). Prior to arriving at Sapa town for accommodation.We begin our ride from the hotel through the breathtakingly beautiful Fansipan limestone mountains, which are home to the H'mong, Dao, Day, Tay, and Nung people. For a hundred years, the ethnic tribe of Dao Pho lived together.We also like both sites' lush rice terraces. For lunch, we arrive at the Binh Lu T intersection stop. Day 11: Cycling Sapa valley – Nam Cang
After eating breakfast at the hotel, we begin our cycling tour of Sapa's highlights by going downhill from the hotel to the Muong Hoa Valley. The Sapa Valley is renowned for its stunning scenery, vibrant hill tribe settlements, and exquisite rice terraces.You leave the busy Sapa tourist area behind and travel down paved, single-track, mud, and off-beaten-path roads before crossing a suspension bridge to reach Lao Chai, also known as Ta Van Village. Along the route, you will meet and converse with locals. or pay them a visit to learn about their way of life and culture.Once more crossing the bridge to reach Su Pan, travel down to Den Thang, Thanh Kim, and Thanh Phu, and eat lunch with a local family. We ride on single-track, dirt roads after lunch, passing through numerous villages and a stream on our way to Nam Cang Riverside Lodge, where we will spend the night with the Dao family.
