Day 1: Arrival - Ho Chi Minh city

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, our guide and driver will pick you up and transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh city tour (B, L)

At 08:30am, you will be a picked up from your hotel.In the morning we visit:The Reunification Palace: This is one of the most important buildings in the city.War Remnants Museum: Formerly known as the Museum of American War CrimesNotre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office: Built between 1877 and 1883 this is one of the best examples of classical French colonial architecture.After lunch at local restaurant we continue to visit:Giac Lam Pagoda: This is HCMC's oldest pagoda, dating back to 1744 and one of the finest in Vietnam.Cholon, including the Thien Hau Pagoda: Cholon actually means Big Market – a claim that is well justified as Vietnam 's largest market, the Binh Tay, is located here.Ben Thanh Market: This bustling and well-organized market is very popular with tourists, primarily due to its central location. It has a wide selection of goods ranging from fake Nike shoes to beautiful silk Ao Dais.Back to hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh city - Cu Chi Tunnels - Cao Dai temples (B, L)

08:00 am. Our guide will pick you up at the hotel. This morning you take a drive to Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh to observe the midday service. Following lunch we will drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels and then return to Ho Chi Minh city at approximately 18:00 pm.Tay Ninh, near the Cambodian border, is home to the unique Cao Dai sect, whose patron saints include Joan of Arc, Victor Hugo and Winston Churchill to name a few. The religion is a hybrid of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and Christianity. The Cao Dai Temple at Tay Ninh has been described as a Walt Disney fantasia of the East. The temple's exterior is decorated with multi-colored dragons of all shapes and sizes competing for space with a number of Buddhist symbols. Above the main entrance is the all-seeing holy eye, the symbol of the Cao Dai sect. The interior is just as engaging as statues of Jesus Christ, Buddha and the Hindu god, Brahma, stand side by side. The trip to Tay Ninh is combined with a visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels. At its height, the tunnel system stretched over 250km. from Saigon to the Cambodian border and was three levels deep. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life during the U.S.- Vietnam American must have been like. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh city - Can Tho (B, L)

08:00 Our guide will pick you up at the hotel and depart to Cai Be. On the way you can see green rice paddy fields stretching towards the horizon. After arrival in Cai Be, a boat takes you to the floating market with sellers and buyers bargaining and exchanging their goods from their boats. This market nowadays is not as busy as before because after the two huge bridges named My Thuan & Can Tho finished, so almost of things are transferred by road. Then, an optional stop can be made at local workshops where you can see how rice paste, coconut candy and pop-rice, popcorn is made. It is so interesting to visit the handicraft village, where you can see how they make some special products as: Making rice-net for spring rolls, fish sauce & Soya sauce, cooking salt, sewing coconut-leaves for cottage proof...A delicious lunch will be served at Mr. Kiet an ancient house over 170 years old or under the shade of local orchards on the An Binh Island. After lunch, the rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside to enjoy the peaceful time on smaller canals. It is so interesting to see traditional houses made of wood and palm tree leaves and see some activities of the local farmers with an opportunity to make contacts with them and see how they catch fish or pick up fruits by ancestral ways in Mekong Delta. Enjoy tea with some of the local tropical fruits and listening to the traditional music is the best chance for relaxation.Boating to Vinh Long town then transfer by land to the city of Can Tho, the heart of the Mekong Delta. Check in on arrival and relax. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 5: Can Tho - Phu Quoc Island (B) - by flight

Take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong river ( Bassac River), then proceed to Cai Rang floating markets, which are the liveliest in the whole religion.Have you ever tasted Vietnamese vermicelli soup? Well, now go and see how it is made. Then wander around the village and meet the friendly local people and experience how to cross a "Monkey bridge" which is built by only o¬ne stem of bamboo. Visit Binh Thuy temples. Then transfer to Can Tho airport for a flight to Phu Quoc island. On arrival, we will pick you up and drive to hotel. Check in and relax. Overnight in Phu Quoc.

Day 8: Phu Quoc - Ho Chi Minh city - Da Lat (B) - by flight

Breakfast at the hotel. Free and easy for your activities on beach. Then transfer to the airport for a flight Phu Quoc - Saigon. Upon arriving at the airport you will take the flight to Da Lat. Overnight in Dalat.

Day 9: Da Lat city tour (B, L)

We will visit the flower city in Vietnam. Start with a scenic cable ride to have panoramic view over the verdant city. Then to visit Truc Lam meditation Monasterywith Vietnamese design, in Truc Lam we can take a view to Tuyen Lam lake, which has immense water surrounded by lush greenery.Continue our trip to Datanla waterfalls, a beautiful waterfall in Dalat. Move to Valley of love, where you can take many nice photo with flowers. Then visit XQ Historical embroidery art Village, which creates delicate and refined embroidered pictures. The time to make such art work is 3 years. Continue to Old Train Station and Crazy house.After that, transfer to visit the Summer Palace, which used to be the retreat for our last emperor - Bao Dai and Nam Phuong Queen during summers. Our last destination is Domain de Marie Church, a Church with beautiful French architecture.Relax and overnight in Da Lat.

Day 10: Da Lat - Da Nang - Hoi An (B) - by flight

Early morning take a flight to Danang city. On arrival, our guide and drive will pick up and transfer to hotel in Hoi An. Check in and overnight in Hoi An.

Day 11: Hoian city tour (B, L)

In the morning, our guide and car will come to pick you up at your hotel then transfer to Hoi An ancient town. Start our morning by strolling around the Hoi An ancient town to visit: Chua Cau or Japanese Covered Bridge-considered the symbol of Hoi An the finest example of Japanese architecture. Step back in time to discover the Chinese street with stunning Phuc Kien Hall and Phung Hung old house typical of Hoian original architecture. We then visit Hoi An vibrant market and ancient port to explore the rythm of local daily life and savor the true color, flavor and taste of the oriental. Finally, we visit Phuc Thanh Pagoda – the oldest pagoda in Hoi An built in 1454 with Chinese bonze. Have lunch in the local restaurant with specialties of Hoian: the Cao Lau noodle and White Rose dumpling. In the afternoon, take a boat trip on Thu Bon River - the poetic river that shaped the verdant nature and rich cultural heritage of Hoian. Stop en route to visit two handicraft villages nestled on the river banks: Thanh Ha pottery village and Kim Bong carpentry village well known for their nice handicraft products. Transfer back to the hotel afterward. Relax and overnight in Hoi An.

Day 16: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Lao Cai (BR) - by night train

06.30-7.45 Before enjoying the breakfast with cookies and tea, café at the restaurant of the cruise, tourists can try the taichi session on the sundeck at the break of dawn on Bai Tu Long Bay7.45-8.45 Explore the area of Hon Co Island and Co Cave (Grass Cave, also known as Thien Canh Son). You can revel in the breathtaking view of Bai Tu Long bay from above, as well as the glorious long white sand of Hon Co Island.Tourists can relax on the white sand beach of Co Island, enjoy swimming on the area of Co Island. Day 17: Lao Cai - Sapa - Bac Ha (B, L)

Arrive Lao Cai, pick up at Lao Cai Station. After the breakfast at local restaurant, we go to the Bac Ha market for two hours by a private car (AC). This is the largest market in the region, a place where many ethnic groups gather to buy and sell, eat and drink together. There are 10 minority groups in the Bac Ha region. You can buy homemade handicrafts and clothes. In the afternoon we will have a 2 hour trek to Ban Pho village (Flower H’Mong people).In the village we can have a look in their house and understand little more about their lifestyle and traditional customs. Especially, we can try homemade wine from corn. Then drive to Sapa. Check in on arrival and relax. Ovenright in Sapa.

Day 18: Sapa - Fansipan - Lao Chai - Ta Van (B, L)

After breakfast, we drive to Silver Waterfall. The Silver Waterfall is located about a half hour from Sapa town which offers stunning views over surrounding mountains and lush forests belonging to Hoang Lien National Park. You are advised to stop by a farm for a cup of tea and talk with people to understand their local life. Then we continue our drive uphill to the Heavens Gate, the highest stretch of road in Vietnam as well as the provincial border of Lao Cai and Lai Chau provinces. Enjoy fantastic view over the valley!Then take a cable car to Fansipan mountain. Currently the highest point of Fansipan is at 3,143m high. As you know the cable car in Sapa is the world’s longest and highest cable car, running up from sleepy Sapa Town in Lao Cai Province to the peak of Fansipan Mountain, known as Indochina’s rooftop. Enjoy the view from the highest point of this incredible mountain. The lush green and subtropical vegetation makes this mountain really very beautiful. Take some pictures for unforgettable experience from the top. After taking scenery then get cable car back to Sapa.Then we start trekking. The first part is on the road but we soon turn to the right and walk on a small path down the valley to the Muong Hoa River and from here to the Black H’mong village Lao Chai. Black H’mong is one of the biggest minority groups in the Sapa area. They are proud of their culture and keep their traditions and way of living. They have their own language and wear traditional indigio blue clothing. After this you continue to Ta Van village (1.200 m) to visit Zay people. Zay is a fairly small minority group of about 38.000 people who live mainly in the mountains in Northwest Vietnam. The development has meant that some of their old customs have been lost but many women still wear traditional shirts with a purple, blue or green color. The Zay houses are build of wood and bamboo with a clay floor. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 19: Sapa - Cat Cat - Ta Phin - Lao Cai - Hanoi (B, L) - by night train

Breakfast at hotel. You first sneak through the Sapa market and leave the busy town behind. After a couple of minutes, you follow a road going downhill to Cat Cat village. You will stop by a waterfall and a hydroelectric station for a while before continuing the trek on a dirt trail through rice paddy terraces. You also will enjoy spectacular scenery while walking along a narrow river. You eventually arrive in Y Linh Ho village of Black Hmong minority, where you can take a rest while you are served lunch nearby the river. Continue to visit Ta Phin village. Here you can experience the unmixed cultural life of Black Hmong and Red Dao minorities, 2 largest ethnic groups in the area. They live happily together while maintaining their own tradition from generation to generation. You can recognise them by dressing while they are both very famous of handicraft. You will enjoy walking among local people. The trip also offers you the opportunity to visit the local houses. Then transfer to the station in Lao Cai for the night train back to Hanoi at 20:15pm, arrive around 05:00am. Overnight on train.

Day 20: Hanoi - Perfume Pagoda (B, L)

05:00 Arrive Hanoi, pick up at Hanoi Station. Have breakfast at local restaurant.08:00 am Our driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel. Then we will have a two hour drive through the picturesque countryside and back roads to the village of Duc, where we get on a small boat for a one hour trip up Yen Vy stream to Thien Tru Quay. You may trek up (or take cable car) to the mountain to Perfume pagoda. Lunch will be ready after that. Going down and then get to Thien Tru Quay to visit more beautiful and precious sculptures, taking photos, worshipping, getting on boat again back to Duc Wharf. Drive back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.Perfume Pagoda – back to origin of Buddhism land – Just 65 km from Hanoi, Perfume Pagoda is located in Ha Tay province which boasts the highest section of limestone mountains in Vietnam. The pagoda itself is situated in a huge cave built into limestone cliffs and can only be reached by boat as there are no roads. You glide along scenic waterways and walk up steep mountain paths, visiting the pagodas and temples built in this area over the centuries
