Day 1: Hello Vietnam (Xin Chao Ban). O/N In Hanoi
Congrats and a warm welcome! On Day 1, you are welcomed at Noi Bai international airport by the Golden Trail Travel team. We are so excited to have you there! We will handle everything for you right from transferring you to downtown, check-in hotel and more.You are free to enjoy and have your own exploration on the first day around Hanoi city. It will be very interesting to visit one-of-a-kind things of Hanoi Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, and the nightlife. You may join the Ha Noi street food tour. It’s very cool to know Hanoi culture through food.This is your first day, and the adventure Northwest of Vietnam begins!
Day 2: Ha Noi - Mai Chau. O/N At Homestay In Mai Chau (B/L/D)
Morning Activities:In the morning leave Hanoi to the west of Hanoi. We stop at Ha Dong Town to visit Van Phuc traditional silk. Which is famous for silk weaving in the North of Vietnam. Where you have an opportunity to see how local people here made silk by tradition and simple way. Trust me, this is the journey to pass through awesome and eye-catching scenes of Limestone Mountains and valley, before you reach Mai Chau, which is the home of Thai people. You will love traditional dances at night to learn about their customs and culture. Afternoon Activities:
We will be arrive at Mai Chau at noon time. Check in and have lunch at local host. Mai Chau offers you a voyage to feel fresh air and good climate of a peaceful village of Poom Coong and Lac village to experience the wonderful valley. You will also see animals like buffaloes, pigs, cats, goats… freely around. Enjoy the sunset on the village to catch special minutes at the countryside.
A warm hospitality and delicious dinner with the local family to experience real life with minority people and enjoy their traditional Thai’s dance.
Day 3: Mai Chau - Moc Chau - Son La. O/N At Hotel In Son La (B/L/D)
Morning Activities:The fun continues! Continue your journey to Moc Chau and Son La and delve deep into beautiful landscapes and peaceful valley as well as villages. It’s just magical!Get up early next morning & enjoy the tranquil life in the village with “wow-full” sounds of chickens, pig, etc.Enjoy cycling around the village to enjoy more of its beauty and valley. Then we have lunch at home stay before leave Mai Chau for Moc Chau. Afternoon Activities:
Now take a next step to leave Mai Chau for Moc Chau and Son La with the admiration of fruit orchards, tea plantations lines along road that make spectacular sights.
Enjoy a special chance to meet and see local tribe people.
Visit Prison Museum in Son La which has style since French. Have a night in Son La.
Day 4: Son La - Dien Bien Phu. O/N At Hotel In Dien Bien Phu (B/L/D)
Morning Activities:Magic Begins with SON LA! It is your opportunity to enjoy more of the beauty scenery in Northwest of Son La and also passing through imposing road to reach Dien Bien Phu. We’re sure you are going to love the spectacular famous Pha Din Pass to enjoy wonderful sights.Love the amazing Pha Din Pass which is well known in North Vietnam with awesome scenery of mountain. We have lunch at local food stall. Afternoon Activities:
After we arrive Dien Bien Phu. We also take a look at historic sites in Dien Bien Phu – very popular destination in the war between Vietnam and French. Where you will be able to see monuments, museums, old battlefield, etc. Drive to the hotel for check in. Spend a night in Dien Bien Phu.
Day 5: Dien Bien Phu - Lai Chau - Tam Duong - Sapa. O/N At Hotel In Sapa (B/L/D)
Morning Activities:It’s getting Spectacular! Yes, the journey from Dien Bien Phu to Tam Duong is getting more and more spectacular and the lovely views from the summit with windy road are going to drive you crazy. You will love the cool climate of mountainous area and awesome fields attract you as a picturesque.Get up early and take a look at the morning life of a peaceful town. Leave Tam Duong in morning and go ahead to Sapa town with road up hill. We also have lunch at local food stall on the way to Tram Ton pass. Afternoon Activities:
After reach to the top of Tram Ton Pass. The longest pass in Vietnam, also it’s the most beautiful one in Vietnam too. Where you have chance to enjoy the special view at Tram Ton Pass and you are going to be surprised at its spectacular beauty that can’t be found anywhere. Then keep going to Sapa town. Check in hotel and overnight in Sapa.
Day 6: Sa Pa Off The Beaten Track. O/N At Homestay In Sapa (B/L/D)
Morning Activities:Leave your hotel in Sapa town at 8.00 am with our tour guide and driver to start your day trip. You can leave your luggage at hotel while trekking.The driver transfers you on the main road to reach Sa Seng village where you start trekking time on Muong Hoa Valley. Trekking through villages with soil path will give you the real life of hill tribe people and their activities on terrace fields. Today we will have a picnic lunch in village. Afternoon Activities:
The trekking road through villages Sa Seng, Hau Thao and Giang Ta Chai. Walk through Muong Hoa valley of magnificent landscape and meet Black H’mong in Hau Thao village, Red Zao people at Sa Seng and Giang Ta Chai village. Homestay in Giang Ta Chai village with standard facilities of community travel. There is no private bathroom. There are hot showers, mosquito net over the bed and tasty traditional food with family dinner. Note:
This is medium trek 14km off the beaten track.
Homestay at stilt house with minority people. The homestay is clean & safe so you don’t need to bring sleeping bag.
Day 7: More Trekking In Sapa - Ha Noi. O/N In Hanoi (B/L)
Morning Activities:Spend morning at the village to get mountain life activities and experience. Continue to visit Giang Ta Chai Village of Red Dao minority people hidden behind old tree, bamboo forest. At the village you can see a spectacular Cau May waterfall. Trekking through rice fields, crossing suspension bridge to the other side of the river.Then from Giang Ta Chai village, you continue trekking route up to the mountain to Su Pan Village.Then the driver picks up at Su Pan and transfer back Sapa town for lunch. Afternoon Activities:
After lunch that the time for you to say goodbye Sapa also your new friend in Sapa. We drive back to Hanoi.
It will take around 4.5 hours drive. and we will be in Hanoi around 17:30. Check in hotel and overnight in Hanoi.
Day 8: Ha Noi & Depart (B)
Your last day in Hanoi. And you are free until driver pick up for your flight home! And a great experience! After having an adventure trip in North Vietnam you will have some free time to walk around Hanoi city.It’s time to say goodbye.
