Xiaohao Mudflat is about 18 km away from the center of Xiapu. Do not forget to bring your telephoto lens when you are going to shoot at Xiaohao Mudflat. It is mainly sandy and has no definite water channel. The freshwater channel down from the mountain changes into a new zigzag channel after the tides. It seems the artery of the mudflat from a distance. Xiaohao mudflat is the only mudflat in Xiapu that can be shot in the morning or at dusk all the year-round.  Except for the freshwater channel, you can also see locals working there, such as sea breeding, fish fry, etc. As long as there is light, Xiaohao Mudflat is a creative base of changes.

Then we will go to Nanwan Village in Yantian to film the linear mudflats and small net fences. In the afternoon, we will go to Yantian to shoot the life of fishermen living on a fishing boat. Even the boats are colorful, where we could shoot their working scenes such as hanging oysters. The fishermen lived in the simple fishing boats generations and generations, living on fishing and collecting shells. They live a difficult life drifting on the sea, so they are also called the "Sea Gypsy". Such a group is known as the Lianjia boat people in China.
