Our adventure begins at 8:00 AM as your guide picks you up from your hotel in Hanoi. We'll set off on a scenic drive to Ha Giang, a journey that takes us through lush tea plantations, majestic mountains, and charming ethnic minority villages. We’ll stop for a delicious local lunch in Tuyen Quang. Arriving in Ha Giang around 6:00 PM, you'll have some free time to explore the town before being welcomed for dinner at a traditional Tay house. This is your first taste of genuine local hospitality and the beginning of your trekking experience.

Today marks the start of your immersive trekking adventure! We'll depart from the homestay for an exhilarating 6-8 hour trek to the village of Lung Vai. The trail takes you off the beaten path, revealing stunning terraced rice paddies, serene palm-tree forests, and panoramic mountain views. You'll encounter friendly locals from the Man and Dao ethnic groups who are often happy to share a smile and a moment with travelers. After a well-deserved picnic lunch in nature, we’ll continue our trek to the remote village of Khuoi My. We'll pass by hardworking farmers in the fields, and you're welcome to join in for a bit of farm work if you wish! Our final leg of the trek takes us to Ban Tha Village, where our driver will be waiting to take us to Nam Dam. Here, a home-cooked meal and a cozy Dao homestay await.

Upon reaching Dong Van, we'll have lunch at the vibrant old market, where you can admire ancient houses and locals in their traditional attire. We'll check into a hotel in Dong Van for dinner and a restful night.

Prepare for a wonderful day of trekking in Ba Be National Park! We'll start by visiting Coc Toc Village, where you can meet the Tay community and learn about their unique fishing culture. We’ll then cross the serene Pe Lu Stream and tackle some rugged, steep terrain, a rewarding workout with spectacular views. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in a H’mong ethnic village, where your guide will introduce you to some local residents. The afternoon takes us through mountains and valleys to a school and stilt houses of the Dzao ethnic people. We'll conclude the day at another H’mong village for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay in a beautiful Dzao house.

After viewing the waterfall, we’ll have a relaxing boat trip up the river to explore the breathtaking Puong Cave, a massive limestone cavern home to thousands of bats. Our journey continues across Ba Be Lake to visit An Ma Temple, a spiritual landmark. We’ll cap off this incredible day with a delicious dinner and a restful night’s sleep at Ba Be Jungle Houses.
