Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)
Upon arrival in Hanoi, teachers and students will be greeted then transferred to the hotel. Completed the check-in, you can use free time. In the evening, we have a welcome dinner at a local restaurant near the hotel.
Day 2: Discover Hanoi the Capital (B, L, D)
Today we will enjoy breakfast and then venture out to explore Hanoi. First up we will visit the famous Hoang Thanh Thang Long (Imperial Citadel of Thang Long) – a cultural complex comprising the Royal enclosure, which was first built in the Ly Dynasty in the 19th century. We will then visit the nearly Flag Tower of Hanoi – a symbol of the city with 33.4 height. The flag tower was used as a military post during the French war and now located in the Military History Museum. The next journey is to the Temple of Literature, which originally served as the temple to Confucius. After lunch, we transfer to the Museum of Ethnology, which displays extensive culture features of Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic minority peoples. To finish our day, we pay a visit to the St. Joseph’s Cathedral, a neo-Gothic cathedral built in the french colonial. When it gets dark, we will return to the original hotel and enjoy dinner.
Day 3: Hanoi – Bear Sanctuary Ninh Binh (B, L, D)
Wake up early in the morning and then enjoy refreshing breakfast before exploring Bear Sanctuary. This base is being operated by an international wildlife welfare organization Four Paws was opened to the public in the northern province of Ninh Binh, marking a milestone for efforts to enforce laws on banning the abuse of bears for bile extraction farming. In the lunchtime, Vegetarian lunch will be served before exploring sanctuary with a wide range of practical activities including trees planting , cooking class, Cleaning the sanctuary, play with other bears, forage for food or hide away in their dens when they want to relax as well as workshop activities such as picture coloring, drawing bear pictures, bear storytelling. All of the meaningful activities will boost the creative ability of children and build their love with bears and nature. A lot of fun games are designed for school students such as quiz, board games. These activities are considered to enhance their spirit and stir the atmosphere. Later, students will have a chance to participate in the debate activity. The student will be divided into groups and pinpointed for topics and also the side to support or oppose. This must be an exciting activity. Traveling here students will have ample chance to join the staff in the journey of rescuing bears toward the aim of ending bear farming in Vietnam, understand nature, wildlife and find the way to live in harmony. The practical work gives students an authentic encounter with the living of bears. When the sun begins to set, our drivers will transfer you back to Hanoi for dinner and good sleep. Finish off our day trip to Bear Sanctuary at Ninh Binh.
Day 4: Hanoi – Halong traveling (B, L, D)
Have breakfast, we venture the wonder of Vietnam: Halong Bay. This was nominated as one of The New 7 Wonders of Nature’ in 2011. When arriving here, students and teachers have a chance to admire the complex of extraordinary limestone karst on the cruising trip. In the afternoon, we go on board and travel around the Bo Nau Cave, then head to Soi Sim Island. Many activities are waiting for you such as swimming, relaxing on the beach of Soi Sim; if you want to challenge yourselves, let’s try to climb up to the peak of the island and enjoy the whole view of Halong Bay. Enjoy dinner, then we transfer to the original board, take a shower and have free time at night on board.
Day 5: Journey from Halong to Hue (B, L, D)
Enjoy your breakfast servings before starting your traveling day then go around and take some photos. Next, we will discover the magnificent Sung Sot Cave – the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. Finish visiting, we will be back to the boat, take a shower if you want. Continue cruising exploring Ha Long, we go through the fishing village of Ba Hang or Dog Islet, and so on. Teachers and students will have chances to taste a traditional Vietnamese lunch on the way returning to the harbor. We will disembark at round noon and find your car is waiting and take you back to Noi Bai airport in Hanoi for an evening flight to Hue. Meanwhile, you will have dinner at a local restaurant. When we arrive in Hue, we will be picked by our guide and driven to the hotel and spend the night there.
Day 6: Hue’s Riverboat – Royal Tombs (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, students and teachers will board the Dragon Boat on the romantic Perfume River heading out for the countryside. We will immerse ourselves in the great view of the river. Students will learn that Hue was an ancient Capital city which possesses many historical relics. Currently, there are hundreds of architectural works that were served in the life of Emperors and the royal under Nguyen’s rule. Located in a bank of Perfume River are many tombs of Nguyen Kings. Next stop after our lunch is the Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda), one of the most beautiful tombs of our plan. Thien Mu Pagoda is the must-see attraction in Hue, a place for Buddhist worship in Vietnam. Then we set off a journey to King Khai Dinh’s Tomb. In the later afternoon, we visit the Imperial Citadel and go back to our hotel to relax. We will have dinner in a local restaurant and enjoy the comfortable atmosphere of Hue at night.
Day 7: Walking tour in Hue – Danang – Hoi An (B, L, D)
Have breakfast at the hotel, we transfer to Hoi An on the Highway 1A. In our way, we can stop to sightsee the charming views of Lang Co Beach and enjoy the beauty of Danang city. On arrival in Danang, we will have a brief visit at Cham Museum – the houses of the most complete collection of Cham Artifacts anywhere in the world; China Beach – where the American named and used to have their relaxation; and the Marble Mountain – the five elements of the Universe (water, wood, air, fire and earth). We will reach to Hoi An in the afternoon, finish check-in the hotel and have lunch. For the afternoon schedule, we will begin by a walking tour around the old quarter visit the Japanese Bridge, which is the picture of Japanese architecture in the first day of the Edo period. There are numerous famous places that are worth to visit such as the Pottery Museum or Tan Ky old house, the Chinese-style temples and pagodas. In the nightfall, we have dinner in a local restaurant and overnight in Hoi An.
Day 8: Visit My Son Sanctuary (B, L)
Today’s plan is a long traveling to My Son Sanctuary, so be sure that you have a good breakfast and ready for being picked by the tour guide and driver. The Sanctuary was once the royal capital city of the Cham dynasty in the center of Vietnam before became a part of the country. Students coming here can learn about the ancient Cham architecture in the remnant structures. They include temples and towers that connect with complicated red brick designs. We are driven to the hotel and have lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we depart for Hoi An and enjoy free time at leisure. A list of fun activities for you is staying on the beach, strolling around the street or going shopping.
For dinner, we try local food and overnight in Hoi An.
Day 9: Back to Hanoi for departure (B)
Time will be free until our car and guides arrive at the hotel to take us to the airport in Danang for a domestic flight to Hanoi (or Ho Chi Minh City) well in advance of your departure flight. The school tour ends.
