Overview

Prepare for the ultimate Cambodian adventure with our "Phnom Penh Motorbike Experience to Sihanoukville Beach 7 Days" tour, a meticulously designed journey that perfectly blends cultural exploration, exhilarating off-road motorbiking, and serene beach relaxation. This comprehensive 7-day expedition takes you from the bustling historical heart of Cambodia to its tranquil southern coast, offering an immersive and unforgettable experience for every thrill-seeking traveler.

Your Cambodia motorbike tour begins in Phnom Penh, the vibrant capital city. Before hitting the open road, you'll have the opportunity to delve into Cambodia's rich and sometimes somber history. Visits to the poignant Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21) and the solemn Choeung Ek Killing Fields provide crucial insights into the Khmer Rouge era, ensuring a respectful and educational start to your journey. You'll also experience the grandeur of the Royal Palace and the shimmering Silver Pagoda, offering a glimpse into Cambodia's regal past.

Once you've absorbed the capital's historical depth, your motorbike adventure truly begins as you set out towards the southern provinces. This tour emphasizes an authentic off-road Cambodia experience, taking you away from the main highways and onto diverse terrains. You'll navigate challenging dirt roads, winding rural trails, and possibly even some light jungle paths, perfectly suited for dirt bike riding. The route is carefully chosen to reveal the country's hidden gems and stunning landscapes, from vast rice paddies to lush rubber plantations.

As you journey towards the coast, you'll pass through charming provincial towns like Kampot, renowned for its famous pepper plantations and colonial architecture, and Kep, a sleepy coastal town known for its fresh seafood and the iconic crab market. The riding in these regions offers a fantastic mix of open roads and more technical sections, allowing you to fully enjoy the capabilities of your motorcycle. A major highlight of the tour is the discovery of hidden beaches along the coastline. Our expert guides will lead you to pristine stretches of sand and secluded coves that are often inaccessible by regular vehicles, providing exclusive opportunities for swimming, relaxing, and soaking in the tranquil beauty of the Gulf of Thailand.

The final leg of your journey culminates in Sihanoukville, where you'll trade the thrill of the trails for the serene bliss of its renowned beaches. Here, you'll have ample time for beach relaxation, unwinding on the white sands of Otres Beach or enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of other coastal spots. You can simply lounge by the sea, enjoy fresh seafood, or perhaps opt for an island hopping excursion to nearby paradises like Koh Rong or Koh Rong Samloem (optional, additional cost). This 7-day Cambodia motorbike & beach tour offers the perfect balance: the adrenaline of conquering diverse terrains, the cultural enrichment of historical sites and local encounters, and the ultimate reward of a tropical beach escape. It's an unforgettable journey that truly showcases the multifaceted beauty of Cambodia

DAY 1: PHNOM PENH motorbike to KAM POT ( L, D )

Pick up at 8L00 AM from your hotel in Phnom Penh. Before departing the bustling capital of Cambodia, our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and soon move to the Log House depot in Takmau village. Located approximately 12 km from the city center, this depot marks the commencement of the journey after enjoying a light breakfast, finalizing all the errands, and clearing up queries. Having known as one of the most populous countries in the region, Phnom Penh’s traffic jam craziness is also a concerning problem that we have to keep away from. Leaving Takmau around 10 am, we embark on the ride to drop by Takeo, a southern province of Cambodia for a short break then heading Kampot subsequently. Stepping at Kampot, visitors will be accommodated either the historical Bokor Mountain Lodge with 6 rooms upstairs and bar/restaurant downstairs or the modern Rikitikitavi with 4 rooms downstairs and bar-restaurant upstairs. In case of unavailability, we may occupy both of them. Sited separately 25 meters along the riverside, the favorable positions of those dwelling houses are a perfect stopover for relaxing and exploring the whole space. You can evenly take a short trip to Kep to explore its white-sanded beach and dip into its crystal-clear water. In the evening, we will dine at a riverside Khmer restaurant and move to Rusty Keyhole bar in Kampot for a few drinks before taking to bed late.

DAY 2: KAMPOT - SRE AMBEL ( B , L , D )

Say goodbye to Kampot after breakfast, our tour heads Route 4 then turns off 40 kilometers to the North to reach the Sre Ambel, a south-western town in Koh Kong city. Riding through its sealed bridges and running alongside the coastline, Koh Kong is covered up by mountains, forests, and a largely inaccessible interior, creating majestic and romantic sceneries. Take your time to enjoy its breathtaking views as well as snap some photos to record such a stunning moment of nature. To discover this mysterious land, at least one ferry crossing would be necessary. This would be a nuisance for visitors; however, don’t fret as we have carefully prepared a superseded approach before.,  Blessed by nature, the off-road route from Sre Ambel is sensational that you have never experienced before. You will be completely blown away by the beauty of nature as well as its winding and tortuous paths. Lately, we check into Oasis Resort for an overnight sojourn and head off to a Khmer Seafood restaurant for dining. If you have a chance to Cambodia once in your lifetime, Sre Ambel is one of the must-visit landscapes that cannot be skipped. ,

DAY 3: OPTIONAL KAM POT MOTORCYCLE TOURS ( B, L, D )

On the third day following the tour, you can consider our options:

Option 1: We will spend a lazy day lying on the beach, located 10 kilometers from the city town. After a long time of sunbathing and diving into the water, we will take part in many maneuvered activities such as beach volleyball, jet skiing, and paragliding. Then, we will move to a basic restaurant and bar alongside the coast to enjoy its special foods and drinks.

Option 2: If you are adventurous travelers or you just want to challenge yourself, let’s take a closer look at this option. Our tour guide will head you on a day tour of the Cardamon Mountain on a 250cc biking trail. You are allowed to choose the duration of the trip as well as the degree of difficulty. You can choose either the leisurely ride through bushes or the bloody hard work; however, you surely have the great riding ever.,This ride is free of charge and compliments HCT so you can enjoy the most excitement without any bother.

DAY 4 : KAM POT - SIHANOUK VILLE ( B , L , D )

Departing the Oasis and returning the Route 4, we subsequently head the South to step foot in the resort city of Sihanouk Ville. You should consider since this is the shortest route from Phnom Penh to Sihanouk Ville so it can get quite hectic during rush hours. Situated in the capital city in Southern Cambodia, Sihanouk Ville has long become a seaside playground for the rich and well-known people. Under the construction, nice beach resorts, casinos, and other infrastructures have been built up, making the prosperity for the beautiful port city. Reaching Sihanouk Ville, we check into the Reef Resort and take a short rest in the swimming pool or walk through nearby beaches. In the evening, we will dine at a deserted Khmer seafood restaurant at Treasure Island and enjoy the unique nightlife of Sihanouk Ville.

DAY 5: SIHANOUKVILLE MOTORBIKE TOURS AROUND – LEISURE ON BEACH ( B )

After some days of traveling, we will again have a lazy day downing the beach and joining the fishing trip.  Well-known as the coastal city and acquired a reputation for its unique cuisine, Sihanouk Ville annually attracts a large number of visitors around the globe. During the fishing trip, you will enjoy relaxing minutes as well as experience the daily life of the local fishermen. Whether catching fish or not, this would be a great day around such spectacular islands where you are welcome to go swimming or snorkeling. With all achievements during the fishing trip, visitors will be served stunning fish and chips dishes that mark an unforgettable memory during your lifetime.

DAY 6 : SIHANOUKVILLE - KEP ( B , L , D )

Pursuing our road, we depart the Reef Resort after breakfast and ride back to Kampot. Travelers can choose whether to have lunch at Kristian’s Rusty Keyhole which acquires a reputation for BBQ ribs throughout the Kingdom or take a short ride to Kep to enjoy its special seafood. After a short rest and quick drinks, we soon move to Krung Kepand check into the Kep House, a splendid hotel sited on the hill overlooking the ocean. From here, visitors can lie down in the pool for relaxing or step through the white-sanded beach to enjoy the cool and fresh air. In the evening, we will visit a Khmer seafood restaurant alongside the beach and relish its specialties. A swim or a quiet beer at the Beach House would be the best way to finish the last night before returning to Phnom Penh.

DAY 7 : KEP - PHNOM PENH ( B , L )

Before saying goodbye to Kep and riding back to the Hog House on the final day, we will have an early breakfast lasting one or two hours on the beach. After a short rest taking photos as well as preparing the suitcase, we check out around noon and then have lunch at another Khmer restaurant. Ride to Phnom Penh and drop off your hotel in Phnom Penh. End the tour.
