Day 1: Take a motorbike trip from Phnom Penh to Kampong Thom ( L, D )
Before the motorbike trip to Northern Cambodia begins, our guide will provide you with the necessary information about the detailed itinerary and safety riding tips. After that, you get on the motorbike and control it through a country lane to get to Udong, which was the Cambodian capital from the 17th to the 19th century. After getting out of Phnom Penh, you take a drive through the scenic road that has few vehicles. Along the way, you have some stops for sightseeing. The first stop is Baseth mountain, which gives you a chance to admire the stunning landscape of Phnom Penh from a distance. You go on the journey on the narrow track where you occasionally meet some farmers. You can stop there to talk with them for more understanding of their daily life. After reaching Udong, you go up the top of the hill that is the residence of a Buddha stupa, from which you can see the panorama of Cambodia. Riding towards Kampong Chhnang, you will reach some traditional pottery villages where you can stop and experience making iconic clay products. Today the final destination you will get to is Kampong Thom. Here you will check in at the hotel before staying overnight. Distance: 169KM | Level: Easy | Road: flat tarmac, gravel
Day 2: Ride your motorbike from Kampong Thom to Ta Seng ( B, L, D )
After having breakfast, you mount the motorbike to take a ride through the country lane surrounded by rustic stilt houses and immense rice fields. On the way, you will pay a visit to Sambor Preikuh, which was the first capital of the Chenla dynasty in the pre-Angkor period. It was also recognized by UNESCO as one of the World Heritage sites. With an area of five million square meters, this archaeological site is regarded as the largest temple complex in Asia. After leaving Sambor Preikuh, you follow the narrow trails that will then take you to Boeung Per Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to a variety of rare animal species in Cambodia. You may have some difficulties while crossing these tracks because they are covered with sand, mud, and water. At night, you arrive at Ta Seng and take some rest at the hotel here.  Distance: 121KM | Level: Medium | Road: flat gravel, trail
Day 3: Travel from Ta Seng to Beng Mealea by motorbike ( B, L, D )
Ta Seng is a thousand-year-old village in Cambodia. When taking a trip here, you cannot miss the opportunity to visit the large religious complex named the Great Preah Khan, which was built by one of the last kings of the Khmer Empire. After that, you go along a 100-kilometer path that connects Isanapura and Angkor. Before that, it was a key route for trading between the Angkor Empire and other nations. But you will be surprised to know that it is now quite narrow and maybe offers enough space for one motorbike to move around. After one day of experiencing off-road paths, you arrive in Beng Mealea and spend your night here. Distance: 80KM | Level: Hard | Road: trail, off-road
Day 4: Go through Koh Ker from Beng Mealea before getting to Preah Vihear ( B, L, D )
You will spend the morning visiting Beng Mealea, which shares a lot of common points with Angkor Wat because they were built in the reign of the same king. Due to being located deep into the forest, it was quite challenging for tourists to reach this temple in the past. But in recent years, a new dirt road has been built so that tourists from various places can get to it more easily and quickly. Coming here, you will be excited about the bustling atmosphere here., Go on the journey to Koh Ker and visit Prasat Thom temple, which stands out due to its unique pyramid design. Situated in the forest, this seven-tier temple has a height of 40 meters. From it, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the surrounding area of the forest. At the end of the day, you will take overnight in Sra Em. Distance: 162KM | Level: Easy | Road: flat tarmac, gravel
Day 5: Have a relaxing day in Preah Vihear ( B, L, D )
Today you spend time going around and exploring some popular destinations in Preah Vihear before continuing the motorbike trip to other areas in Cambodia. Some beauty spots you should visit include Noreay temple, Phnom Pralean, Neak Buos, and Kulen Prumep Wildlife Sanctuary. After doing this sightseeing day, you certainly will have more time to regain your energy before conquering other dirt roads. Take overnight in Sra Em.
Day 6: Go on the journey to Banteay Meanchey ( B, L, D )
Today you will have an occasion to explore another UNESCO World Heritage monument named Preah Vihear temple, which runs across the border of Cambodia and Thailand. With the ancient architecture of the temple, it attracts a host of tourists to come to visit every year. However, due to its special location, tourists sometimes have trouble going into it.,After the visit to the Preah Vihear temple, you move toward Anlong Veng, which witnessed frightful events during the Khmer Rouge period. This site will help you get more knowledge of the darkest years throughout Cambodian history. After the trip, you come to Banteay Chhmar homestay for relaxation. Distance: 228KM | Level: Medium | Road: steep climb on the tarmac, flat gravel
Day 7: Take a ride from Banteay Meanchey to Siem Reap ( B, L )
After having breakfast and saying goodbye to your homestay host, you leave Banteay Chhmar and move to Siem Reap. Today you will enjoy a smooth ride on tarmac roads before getting to the destination in the late afternoon. After that, you check in at your hotel. End The Tour. Distance: 135KM | Level: Medium | Road: gravel, tarmac
