Proceed towards the Temple of Literature: Vietnam's first university was founded here in 1070, but it was first built as a Confucian temple.The shrine highlights how important education has always been to Vietnamese society.We're going to one of the most interesting museums in Vietnam, the Museum of Ethnology. Considered the best in the country, it has a large exhibit recognizing the 54 ethnic communities that comprise the nation. Go to a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch, visit 36 Ancient Street and the Dong Xuan market. Day 7: Arrive in Hanoi and make your way to Mai Chau Cycle tours
You will be forced to return to Hanoi by our train at five in the morning. You will be met by our shuttle vehicle and taken to the hotel to have breakfast and a shower. After a filling breakfast, we head to Mai Chau via Hoa Binh. After a two-hour drive from Hanoi to Luong Son Town, we begin riding on an undulating route to Kim Boi, where we stop for coffee and tea. The gorgeous limestone mountains, orange orchards, and lush sugar cane landscape captivate you as you go.We continue riding to Cao Phong town, where we make a quick changeover to a neighborhood eatery. We take a 30-minute detour to the foot of Thung Khe Pass after lunch in order to avoid the main road. We pick up our riding again, heading past a settlement of Thai tribe members to the Bank of Da river. The paved road takes us beside the river to Bai Sang, then descends to Mai Chau Town.
