Day 1: Arrival Yangon (D)
Mingalaba! Welcome to Myanmar! After pick up by a local guide and driver, we will be transferred to the hotel for check-in. For the rest of the day, our trip will include a visit to the fruit market in China Town & Yangon’s city center. Here, we will grab a chance to delve into the world-famous Shwedagon Pagoda and take in views of the golden dome lighting up the sunshine at the sunset. Then, we will be served dinner and overnight in Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon city tour (B, L)
For those who desire to take a first-hand experience of contact between nature, culture, and communities, Yangon city is surely an ideal city for visitors to discover this ‘End of Strife’. Today’s trip itinerary includes Kyauktawgyi pagoda, a Buddhist temple housing a 7.6-meter-tall Loka Chantha Abhaya Labha Muni Buddha image. After that followed a visit to Chaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda to marvel at the stupendous reclining Buddha. We then head down to Karaweik Hall Royal barge, one of the most impressive landmarks in Yangon on the Kandawgyi Lake for a photo stop. Finally, make your way into Sule Pagoda at Yangon’s city center, coupled with long-established colonial buildings. After a long enjoyable journey, we will relax for the rest of the day. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 3: Yangon – Fly to Mandalay (B)
Continue our third day in this Myanmar itinerary 2 weeks with an early morning flight to Mandalay, coupled with a takeaway breakfast. We will spend time in Mandalay for sightseeing with loads of world-known tourist destinations, encompassing the ancient and sacred Mahamuni Pagoda, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Myanmar enshrining the most highly revered Buddha image. Follow your guide to Kyauktawgyi Pagoda which is also known as the Great Marble Image housing a giant Buddha image. Then we also visit  Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden Palace) which is famous for its intricated design and exotic wood carving. To end our day, we will take a rest and enjoy the stunning sunset on Mandalay Hill. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 4: Mandalay – Amarapura – Boat to Mingun (B, L)
Our fourth-day journey starts with breakfast and then an excursion to Amarapura to explore the monks’ education in Mahagandayon Monastery, the largest Buddhist school in Myanmar. Highlight your sightseeing at U Bein Bridge, the longest and oldest teak bridge in the world. What’s a better way than visiting the Traditional Hand-Woven silk workshop to gain local insight into local production? Overnight in Mandalay. For the afternoon itinerary, a boat trip to Mingun village on the west bank of the Ayeyarwaddy is waiting for us. With this trip, we have a chance to witness the Settawya Pagoda, a beautifully whitewashed temple dating back to the 19th century to house a marble footprint of the Buddha. Take leisure walks to Mingun Pahtotawgyi, a massive unfinished pagoda intended to be built as the world’s largest pagoda. Stroll through the ringing Mingun Bell, the world’s second-largest ringing bell. Your trip to Mingun cannot be completed without visiting Myatheintan Pagoda or Hsinbyume Temple, the stunning white temple resembles the shape of Mount Meru, an important mountain in Buddhist cosmology. On the way back, we will be welcomed with an opportunity to view the sunset on the boat. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 5: Mandalay – boat to Bagan (B)
Today Bagan will be our next destination. We travel to this place by a cruise ship along the Ayeyarwaddy River. We will reach Bagan in the early evening and then have a check-in and take relax. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 6: Bagan – Full day visiting (B, L)
Travelers can visit Bagan all year round. Being home to over 2,000 Pagodas and Temples that have existed for 1,500 years of history more or less, Bagan is such an adorable place attracting an influx of visitors annually. Explore Bagan and grab a chance to delve into fascinating local arts, including Lacquerware, sophisticated hand-made cloth as well as skillful bamboo works. After breakfast, Shwezigon Pagoda and its fantastic golden stupa will be our first stop during the Bagan trip. Moreover, we also visit Htilominlo Temple which is best known for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decoration, Gubyaukgyi Temple is noted for wonderful mural paintings depicting Jataka scenes. After that, we will head to MyinkabaVillage to witness the amazing process of the Traditional Lacquer ware Industry with its renowned handicrafts. Overnight in Bagan. We will start our afternoon itinerary with a visit to Ananda Temple which is considered an architectural masterpiece of the temple, featuring four extraordinary standing Buddha images, and then Thabyinnyu Temple with striking brickwork. On the way to see the sunset over the site from sunset hill, we will stop at the hustling and bustling Nyaung U Market where local people get together and exchange fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, clothes, and so on. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 7: Bagan – Fly to Heho – Inle Lake (B, L)
Another promising day trip is welcoming us with an early morning flight to Heho. We will then make our way to Inle Lake to take a boat trip to visit Phaungdawoo Pagoda, the holiest religious site in Inle Lake. Along your way, you will have a chance to marvel at the unique Floating Gardens and the Unique Leg-rowing fishermen. Gain local insight into the traditional fishing method, silk weaving, stilt-house villages on the lake, and Ngaphechaung (Jumping Cat) Monastery, the largest wooden monastery in Inle Lake. Overnight in Inle Lake.
Day 8: Indein full day by boat (B, L)
Today is a full day to let you explore the charming village of Indein. After passing through the narrow canal, you will reach to the Shwe Indein Pagoda, a pagoda complex of over 1600 ancient stupas. Among them, some are well-preserved with gold, some are dominated by nature. After sauntering around the pagoda land and walking through the long colonnade which is filled with many shop stalls, your guide also leads you to the Shan Cheroot making to gaze out at the local production in the region. Overnight in Inle Lake.
Day 9: Inle – Heho – Fly to Thandwe (B)
Say goodbye to Heho, we take flights to Thandwe to start our Myanmar beach holiday. Beautiful Ngapali beach where we spend the night is waiting for us to explore.
