Day 1: Arrival Beijing
Transfer service to hotelMeals: No MealsYour journey will begin in Beijing, one of the most mysterious cities in the world. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by Golden Trail Travel tour guide at Beijing international airport and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, free at leisure and have a good sleep to get over the jet lag. Over the next several days, you’ll explore this ancient city which is also the political and cultural heart of China. Get ready for that.
Day 2: Beijing
Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Jingshan Park, Back Lakes and Nanluoguxiang AlleyMeals: Breakfast & Lunch[09:00-09:30] You will be met by our guide at the hotel lobby and start to explore the historical city of Beijing.[09:30-12:30] You will reach the Tian’anmen Square, the largest public square in the world. Walk through the square and visit today’s highlight Forbidden City , the largest and most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. Hike to Jingshan Park, where gives a nice panoramic view of the Forbidden City at the top of Coal Hill.[12:30-14:00] Have lunch at a local Chinese restaurant enroute to experience the authentic Chinese food.[14:00-16:30] Drive to Back Lakes (Houhai), the marvelous place to discover the history of Beijing City and the endless charm. Walk into Nanluoguxiang Alley which is one of the most famous Hutong districts in Beijing and mix of history, fashion and Souvenir Boutique. Then we will have stop at a tea house.[16:30-17:30] Back to your hotel after today leisure tour. You are free to ask your guide for suggestion of evening activities, such as the night show and place to have Peking duck dinner.
Day 3: Beijing
Temple of Heaven, Mutianyu Great WallMeals: Breakfast & Lunch[08:00-08:30] You will be met by our guide at the hotel lobby and start to explore the Great Wall.[08:30-10:00] Before going to the Great Wall, you will visit Temple of Heaven, where the local resident will do morning exercises in the square. You will have chance to watch Chinese Kongfu, Taichi, square dancing, etc. and get to know the real folk master there.[10:00-13:30] Then visit a jade store before driving to Mutianyu Great Wall, which section is more popular among foreign visitors. Upon arrival,enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant nearby the Great Wall.[13:30-16:00] Enjoy your half day exploration at Mutianyu Great Wall. You can choose to hike or take cable car up and roam around. The Mutianyu Great Wall has the largest construction scale and best quality among all sections of Great Wall. Take the Toboggan down from the top is also unique experience there.[16:00-17:30] Back to the hotel, en route you can plan for the night activities, such as foot massage, houhai night bars and Sanlitun bar street.
Day 4: Beijing - Xian
Summer Palace, Departure to Xian by high speed trainMeals: Breakfast & Lunch[09:30-10:00] You will be met at the hotel lobby and enjoy half day leisure tour before leaving Beijing.[10:00-11:30] Visit Summer Palace which is China existing largest and best preserved imperial garden.  It is also a large natural landscape garden which used Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill as based address, modeled on the Hangzhou West Lake scenery. Enjoy boat ride on Kunming Lake is also a pleasant experience.[11:30-12:30] A La Carte lunch at a local popular restaurant, atmosphere might be loud but tasty food.After lunch, be transferred to the 5.5 hours high speed train to Xian. Your Xian tour guide will wait for you at the airport and help you to transfer to the hotel.
Day 5: Xian
Terracotta Warriors, Bell Tower, Gao's Courtyard, Muslim QuarterMeals: Breakfast & Lunch[09:00-09:30] You will be met at the hotel lobby and start today’s tour for the Ancient city.[09:30-12:30] Drive to Terracotta Warriors and explore one of the world's most important archaeological finds, with troops, horses and carriages in battle formation. Shuttle bus will be arranged for your convenience. Then you will have a chance to visit pottery figurine factory, where you can learn how to make a pottery figurine.[12:30-14:00] A chinese Lunch will be arranged nearby the scenic area of Terracotta Warriors.[14:00-17:00] Afternoon visit the Bell tower, which is the largest bell tower in structure and shape and the best-preserved one in China. Then have a visit at Gao's Courtyard, which is a wonderful choice for you to appreciate ancient residences and explore local culture of paper-cutting and shadow puppetry. Continue to walk around Muslim Quarter and enjoy your shopping time there and you can also challenge the various local snacks.[17:00-17:30] Back to the hotel. Tonight, we highly recommend you watch the Tang Dynasty Show with Dinner at your own cost.
Day 6: Xian - Guilin
Ancient City Wall, Wild Goose Pagoda and north square, Hanyang Tomb, Fly to GuilinMeals: Breakfast & Lunch[09:30-10:00] You will have enough time to pack up and check out. Be met at the hotel lobby and have one day leisure tour in Xian before leaving for Guilin.[10:00-12:30] Visit the Ancient City Wall, which represents one of the oldest and best preserved Chinese city walls. Bicycle or sightseeing car will be arranged on the wall to tour around. After that, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It’s the landmark building of Xian and symbol of China ancient capital and you will also have chance to watch the North plaza fountain show.[12:30-16:30] After lunch, drive to Xian airport, on the way visit the Hanyang Mausoleum, the largest museum with largest floor space in China. Fly to Guilin. Your Guilin tour guide will wait for you at the airport and help you to transfer to the hotel.
Day 7: Guilin - Yangshuo
Li River, West Street, Biking tour along Yulong RiverMeals: Breakfast & Lunch[08:00-08:30] You will be met at the hotel lobby and start to explore the Li River on Cruise.[09:30-14:00] Enjoy Li River Cruise tour with buffet lunch on board. Deluxe cruise will be arranged with decent facility and good service. Savor the fairy-tale scenery while cruising down the meandering river to Yangshuo. You can go on the sundeck or just sit and appreciate the picturesque scenery from the window. After disembarking, walk through the West Street or take sightseeing car to the parking lot.[14:30-16:00] Take a bicycle riding at Yulong River area, along Yulong riverside leisurely and appreciate the clear river with countless hills surrounded as well as the beauty of Yangshuo countryside.[17:00-17:30] Drive back to Guilin. We highly recommend you take the Night Cruise sailing on Li River , where will be illuminated at night.
Day 8: Guilin - Chongqing
Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill, Departure to Chongqing by high speed trainMeals: Breakfast & Lunch[09:00-09:30] You will be met at your hotel lobby and start to discover this beautiful city.[09:30-12:30] Visit Reed Flute Cave which is a famous scenic spot offering a magic fairyland of stalactites, stalagmites in fantastic shapes and colors. After that, have a stop at pearl store and drive to Elephant Trunk Hill, the badge of Guilin city. The hill looks exactly like a huge elephant stretching its trunk drinking water of the Li River. You could climb up to the top and take full view of Guilin’s hills and rivers. Walking along the Li River and enjoy a short visit to the Golden and Silver Twin Pagodas.Take high speed train to Chongqing. Your Chongqing tour guide will wait for you at the station and help you to transfer to Chaotianmen wharf and check-in at the Victoria cruise, which Set sail from Chongqing at 9:00 p.m.
Day 9: Yangtze River Cruise
