Walk around Mahabandoola Park to see the colonial courthouse and the city hall. Then visit BogyokeAung San Market (former Scott’s Market), where the shopper’s favorite place. Later today, we visit the world-famous golden Shwedagon Pagoda, a breathtaking and colorful sight visited by Buddhists from all over Myanmar. Take a leisure walk to Nan Paya, one of the four temples built of sandstones with unique architecture in the 11th century. We then also visit Dhammayangyi Temple, the largest temple in Bagan that resembles the shape of the Great Pyramid in Egypt. Finally, complete your temple tour at Sula Mani Temple, an elegant temple that reflects the architecture of the late Bagan period. Overnight in Bagan.
