Day 1: Kunming Arrival
Airport pick up serviceMeals: No mealAccommodation: In KunmingWelcome to Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan Province, in the Southwestern China. Upon arrival, you will be met and picked up from the airport to the hotel, which we reserve for you in advance. Enjoy a leisurely day.
Day 2: Kunming-Stone Forest-Dali
Guandu Ancient Town, Stone Forest, Take bullet train to DaliMeals: Breakfast, LunchAccommodation: In DaliIn the morning, we drive to Stone Forest (86km). Enroute we have a stop at Guandu Ancient Town, which is a famous historical & cultural town in Kunming. The ancient town keeps the main architectures in the styles of Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Then transfer to visit Stone Forest, which is one of the most important attractions of Yunnan. It is said that "if you have visited Kunming without visiting the Stone Forest, you have wasted your time''.In the late afternoon, take the bullet train from Kunmign to Dali and overnight in Dali.
Day 3: Dali
Three Pagodas in Chongshen Temple, Erhai Lake Ecological Corridor bicycle ride, Zhoucheng Village Bai Village with Tie-dyeing Experience, Dali Ancient TownMeals: Breakfast, LunchAccommodation: In DaliIn the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel lobby and stay your Dali exploration trip. Firstly, we will drive to visit Three Pagodas in Chongshen Temple. The elegant, balanced and stately style is unique in China's ancient Buddhist architectures, which makes it a must-see in the tour of Dali. Hiking to the top is highly recommended where you can get full view of Dali old town and Erhai Lake. The reflection park is also a nice place to capture the classical photo with three Pagodas’ reflection. After that, we will take a relaxing bike riding along Erhai Lake, enjoying the beautiful lakeview. Erhai Lake was formed by the subsidence of geological fault. It is reputed as the pearl on plateau for its beautiful sceneryAfter lunch, then we will have a visit to Zhoucheng, where you can enjoy the typical Bai architectures and you have chance to learn tie-dyeing. Back to hotel and enjoy your free time at Dali Ancient Town. Unlike any other Chinese town, the traditional Bai ethnic folk houses give the town distinctive feeling.Go back to hotel and relax in the room. We would suggest you go to the night bar in the old town and highly recommend Bad Monkey Bar for the House music.
Day 4: Dali – Lijiang by private car (183 km)
Drive to Lijiang, visit Shaxi Ancient TownMeals: Breakfast, LunchAccommodation: In LijiangCheck out from hotel in the morning and drive for 3.5 hours to Shaxi which is a famous ancient town in Jianchuan County. On the way, you will visit the old Wind-rain Bridge and stop at the Wooden-caving Workshop. In the afternoon, we will explore Shaxi Ancient Town. Have a leisure walk on Dengsi Street where you will see the famous Ancient Theater Stage, where the local people will dance and sing to celebrate the important festivals.Keep driving to Lijiang for overnight.
Day 5: Lijiang
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Ganhaizi Meadow and Impression Lijiang Ethnic Show, Baishui River and Terraces, Baisha Old Town and MuralsMeals: Breakfast, LunchAccommodation: In LijiangDrive to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and take cable car up to the Mountain. We will arrange the visit to Glacier Park at 4506 meters above sea level and get really close to the Snow Mountain. You can choose to hike on the mountain and get to the top at 4680 meters or just stroll around at Glacier Park and appreciate the holy Mountain peacefully.After lunch, l enjoy the Impression Lijiang Ethnic Show directed in Ganhaizi Meadow(3100M). A cultural show demonstrating the traditions and lifestyles of the Naxi, Yi and Bai peoples of the area. In the afternoon, stroll through Baisha Old Town, which is an enchanting traditional Yunnan town. Visit the Baisha Murals about 600 years old, which is one part of the World Cultural Heritage by the UNESCO 1997.Climb up to the top of Lion Hill, enjoy a panoramic view of Lijiang Dayan Ancient Town at Wangu Tower. Then free at leisure in the ancient town on your own.
Day 6: Lijiang-Tiger Leaping Gorge-Shangri-La
The First Bend of the Yangtze River, Tiger Leaping Gorge, Dukezong Old TownMeals: Breakfast, LunchAccommodation: In Shangri-laAfter breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive about 60km from Lijiang to Shigu Town, where you will visit the First Bend of the Yangtze River with an imposing gorge scenery. Visit the Iron Chain Bridge and the Red Army’s Long March Memorial Monment in the Shigu town if you are interested in. Then we will move to the Tiger Leaping Gorge, the deepest gorge in the world.Head for Shangri La in the afternoon and you will enjoy a landscape of barley fields and yaks scattered in the valleys as you are entering the Tibetan cultural area. Upon arrival, you could walk around Dukezong Ancient Town on your own. It is an important town of the Ancient Tea-horse Trade Caravan from Yunnan to Tibet and India.
Day 7: Shangri-La
Songzanlin Monastery, Pudacuo National Park (incl. Bita Lake & Shudu Lake), Tibetan VillageMeals: Breakfast, LunchAccommodation: In Shangri-laIn the morning, visit Songzanlin monastery --- the largest Tibetan monastery in Yunnan. And afterwards you’ll visit the tranquil Bita Lake & Shudu Lake in Pudacuo National Park. Pudacuo National Park is located in one of the most biologically-diverse regions of the world. There are more than 20 percent of the country’s plant species, about one-third of its mammal and bird species and almost 100 endangered species. Then drive to visit A Tibetan Village with a family visit.
Day 8: Shangri-La – Deqin – Feilai Monastery
Bengzilan Town, the Moon Bend of Jinsha River, Dongzhulin monastery and Baima Snow Mountain PassMeals: Breakfast, LunchAccommodation: Feilai TempleCheck out in the morning, and drive 4 to 5 hours to Deqin County (3400m altitude) which is 187km away from Zhongdian via Baima Snow Mountain Nature Reserve, where you will be able to view Baima Snow Mountain if the weather is clear.After traversing the mountain ranges, you will make a short stop and have lunch at Benzilan town, where you will be astonished by the Moon Bend of Jinsha(Yangtze) River, Dongzhulin monastery and Baima (white horse) Snow Mountain. The view along the way is fantastic with different kinds of trees, streams down the valley, prayer flags and stupas, and Tibetan villages.Arrival at Feilai Temple in the later afternoon, you will have a chance to enjoy the sunset of Meili Snow Mountain. Stay overnight at Feilai Temple.
Day 9: Feilai Monastery – Shangri-la
Sunrise of Meili Snow Mountain, Lancang-Mekong Grand Canyon, Mingyong Glacier ParkMeals: Breakfast, LunchAccommodation: Shangri-laGet up early in the morning, enjoy the magic sunrise of Meili Snow Mountain. Then drive another 1.5-hour to Mingyong village, where you will walk on the trails for about 4km to Mingyong Glaciers of Meili Snow Mountain. Get to Tibetan Taizi Monastery – another good spot to view the magnificent Mingyong Glaciers. (Optional: You can choose to hire a horse to go up to the glacier on your own expense in order to save your energy).After Mingyong Glacier in Mingyong Village, trek along the Lancang River Grand Canyon. This will be your most impressive part of your trip to Yunnan. Try to trek back to Feilaisi from the Lancang-Mekong River with a nice view of Meili Snow Mountain and Baima Snow Mountain.Notes: The trekking distance depends on your personal energy. 
Day 10: Shangri-La Departure
