Day 1: Arrival Beijing
Transfer service to hotelMeals: No MealsArrive in Beijing, the capital city of China. You will be greeted and met by Golden Trail Travel tour guide at the airport and transferred to your hotel, whenever your flight arrives in Beijing. After check-in, free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 2: Beijing
Temple of Heaven, Hutong Walking trip, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden CityMeals: Breakfast & Lunch[08:30-09:00] Our guide will meet you up at the hotel lobby and start to explore the historical city of Beijing.[09:00-12:30] In the morning, take a visit to Temple of Heaven, which was used to pray for harvest by the emperors. It is China's existing largest structure for sacrifice to heaven. You will also have chance to see locals doing morning excerse in a morning trip, such as singing, dancing, practicing Taichi, playing diabolo, playing cards, ect.  Then have a leisure walk along authentic Hutong nearby, to have a close contact with the locals in Beijing. [12:30-14:00] Have lunch at a local restaurant to enjoy Chinese local food and a short breakfast in the cozy restaurant.[14:00-16:30] You will reach the Tian’anmen Square, the largest public square in the world. Walk through the square and visit today’s highlight: Forbidden City , the largest and most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. Shopping time at Pearl Market.[16:30-17:30] Back to the hotel, en route you can plan for the night show or the Peking duck dinner with your guide and ask for suggestions.
Day 3: Beijing
Mutianyu Great Wall, Olympic Park, The exterior Bird Nest and Water CubeMeals: Breakfast & Lunch[08:00-08:30] Our guide will meet you up at the hotel lobby and start to explore the Great Wall.[08:30-12:30] Drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, which section is more popular among foreign visitors. Upon arrival, you can choose to hike on the Great Wall, or take cable car up and walk around.[12:30-13:30] Lunch time at Xiaolongpu Restaurant, famous for the vegetable food, such as fried vegetables, dry-fried beans, sweet corn cake.[13:30-16:30] Drive back to Beijing city, while you can take a nap in the car. Visit the exterior Bird Nest and Water Cube, the amazing architectures that built for Beijing Olympic Games. After that you will experience Chinese tea at tea house.[16:30-17:30] Back to the hotel, en route you can plan for the night activities, such as foot massage, houhai night bars and Sanlitun bar street.
Day 4: Beijing
Summer Palace, Panjiayuan Antique MarketMeals: Breakfast & Lunch[08:30-09:00] You will have enough time to pack up and check out. Our guide will meet you up at the hotel lobby and have half day leisure tour in Beijing.[10:00-13:30] Drive to Summer Palace, which is the existing largest, best-preserved imperial garden in China. Boat ride on Kunming Lake is included. Lunch will be arranged at nearby restaurant, named Xiangyangtun, with opera stage inside.[13:30-15:30] If you are interested in Chinese culture and antique, our guide could show you to visit the famous Panjiayuan Antique Market, a fairly Chinese-style antique market. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 5: Beijing - Xian
Take high speed train to Xian, Muslim QuarterMeals: BreakfastAfter breakfast in the hotel, our guide will meet you and help you with the hotel check-out. Then transfer to Beijing West Station to catch the high speed train for Xian ( about 5.5 hours). Upon arriving at Xian North Station, the local guide will meet you at the exit and transfer you to the hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the time. If you would like to walk around, we suggest you take a trip to Muslim Quarter and try some local food, do not hesitate to let us know so that we make the arrangement for you.
Day 6: Xian
Ancient City Wall, Terracotta WarriorsMeals: Breakfast & Lunch[08:30-09:00] Our guide will meet you up at the hotel lobby and start to explore the Ancient city.[09:00-12:30] Visit the Ancient City Wall, which represents one of the oldest and best preserved Chinese city walls. Bicycle or sightseeing car will be arranged on the wall to go around. Then drive to Terracotta Warriors. Enroute, we will have a stop at a pottery figurine workshop, where you will learn how the terraccotta warriors are worked out. You can also have a try to make a pottery figurine by yourself.[12:30-14:00] Have a lunch at a local restaurant with good atmosphere, try the local food of North China.[14:00-17:00] Countinue a trip to the highlight of today, that is  Terracotta Warriors , one of the world's most important archaeological finds, with troops, horses and carriages in battle formation. Shuttle bus will be arranged for your convenience. In the late afternoon, we will drive back to downtown of Xian.[17:00-17:30] Back to the hotel, en route you can plan for the night activities, such as Tang Dynasty Show with Dinner.
