Overview
path for cycling. Meo Vac, Bao Lac, Ba BeLake, Hanoi, Lao Cai, Bac Ha, Hoang Su Phi, Ha Giang, Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Dong Van, Ma PiLeng, and meo vac are the places that make up Hanoi.
09 Days Lao Cai – Ha Giang – Ba Be Lake Bike Challenge has been held in Vietnam's Far North in two of the best adventure cycling challenge locations: Ha Giang and Hoang Su Phi.
boasting a steep mountain range, meandering roads, colorful hill tribal communities, rich cultural heritage, and stunning scenery. For those who enjoy outdoor sports and are searching for a once-in-a-lifetime vacation in the far north of Vietnam, Hoang Su Phi and Ha Giang are highly recommended destinations.
Ha Giang is located between the Mo Neo and Cam Mountains and on the banks of the Lo River, close below where it meets the Mien River. This region is inhabited by the Tay, Nung, Red Dao, and White Hmong people. The town has a long history that stretches back to the Bronze Age, and the nearby tribal clans still carry on the Bronze Age custom of crafting bronze drums. Several minority uprisings against the French occurred in Ha Giang during the French colonial era. It was severely destroyed during the Chinese-American War in 1979, and several new buildings have since been constructed.
Up until very recently, settlements in Hoang Su Phi, one of Vietnam's most unspoiled areas, were completely cut off from the outside world. With its high mountains, deep valleys, streams, and forests, and an average elevation of 800 meters above sea level, this region is renowned for its exceptional natural beauty and pristine traditional way of life. Riding a bicycle over the 'Heaven Gate 2' mountain pass (+895m) to Tan Quang is a challenge we take on. Beautiful views can be seen below a broad, open sky from the pass.

The remote town of Dong Van is tucked away in a valley in the center of the Rock Plateau, near the Chinese border, encircled by a forest of mountains and vibrant orchids.
