Today will be a big day for people who head for their hometown. To avoid the New Year rush, we will arrange morning tour to Mutianyu Great Wall. You can choose to hike on the Great Wall or take cable car up and walk around. Enjoy your peaceful time there till lunch time. Drive back to Beijing downtown in the afternoon. Visit Forbidden City which is the largest and most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. You could image how busy it would be during the old time when the Emperor prepares for the New Year.
Temple of Heaven, Hutong Tour with family visit, Enjoy the Chinese culture for Chinese New Year Celebrition

Today is Chinese New Year Eve! The busy city of Beijing will show you another side. You will visit Temple of Heaven, in the morning. After that, walk into the Hutong and be a real Beijinger to celebrate the Chinese New Year. You will see the clean alley, red lantern, spring couplets, and meet people who express their New Year greetings to everyone. We will arrange a special lunch at the local family’s house and enjoy your happy time with them for the New Year Eve. Don’t forget to give red envelopes and your best wishes to them.
Free day, Ditan Park Temple Fair- a good suggestion for you

Give your guide and drive a day off and enjoy your free time for the New Year's Day. You could explore the temple fairs and shopping streets on a walking tour of the city. We suggest you visit the temple fair held at Ditan Park with more than 30-year history. Going to temple fair during Chinese New Year is a must-do activity for Beijingers. During temple fair, you will have chance to watch traditional performance and traditional handicrafts. You can also try many local snacks. You will have our New Year coupon of ¥100 per person for taxi fee.
Fly to Xian, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Ancient City Wall

Say goodbye to Beijing and take morning flight to Xian. Upon arrival, be met by our tour guide and visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda and North Square. Appreciate the Music Fountain Show in the afternoon at the largest square in Asia. After that, visit Ancient City Wall which represents one of the oldest and best preserved Chinese city walls. You will also enjoy the special lantern show at night during Chinese New Year Festival.
Terracotta Warriors, Bell Tower, Muslim Quarter

In the morning, drive to Terracotta Warriors and explore one of the world's most important archaeological finds, with troops, horses and carriages in battle formation. Shuttle bus will be arranged for your convenience. In the afternoon, visit the Bell tower, the largest bell tower in structure and shape and best-preserved one in China. Continue to visit Muslim Quarter where is the best place to experience Chinese New Year in Xian.
Fly to Shanghai, Shanghai Alley, Shikumen, Old Street, Nanjing Road, The Bund

Morning will be at leisure on your own and take fly to Shanghai. Upon arrival, be met by our guide and enjoy your afternoon tour to Shanghai Alley and Shikumen, which is the most typical buildings reflecting the old Shanghai. After that, stroll around Shanghai Old Street and Nanjing Road for free shopping. In the evening, have orientation walk on the Bund and celebrate the New Year Festival with local people while playing fireworks.
Tongli Water Town, Lingering Garden

In the morning, drive to Tongli Water town, famous for the traditional residences including gardens, houses and temples, built in the Ming and Qing Dynasty. You will also experience Tongli Canal wooden boat through the waterways. The water town will be well decorated during Chinese New Year and you will enjoy the unique water town only once a year. In the afternoon, drive to Suzhou city and stroll around the Pingjiang Ancient Street, an ancient cultural road which has been preserved for more than 800 years. Continue visit to Lingering Garden, one of the great four gardens in China. Get back to the Shanghai after the tour.
