Day 1:   Siem Reap – Kulen 

Day 1:  Siem Reap – Kulen 

At 08.00 am, meet at our motorcycle shop, and get a briefing on safety and riding trail conditions. You are also required to sign the released form and make the deposit of USD 500 per rider to guarantee the motorcycle damages.

Start riding our motorcycle through the countryside road for a bit then we get into the off-road enjoy the jungle rails and ride up to the top of Kulen Mountain Hills. Lunch at the local restaurant on the top of the hill, then we continue to ride on the Kulen Mountain Ranges to explore the hidden temples (Srah Damrei, Peung Tbal, and Prasat Krom…) from the early 9th century because this mountain was the first capital city of the Khmer Empire. At about 4 pm we return to the main spot to visit 1000 lingas, and the biggest waterfall before riding to our campsite for dinner and overnight. 

Enjoy swimming in the river at the campsite.

Note: Dinner is not included, our guide will assist you to order some good food from the campsite, all costs for dinner and drinks are on your own account.

And then we will continue to ride to visit the biggest Sopheakmit Waterfall before we reach Preah Romkel Community Eco Tourism Base for an overnight at homestay.  Dinner is on your own

After breakfast, we load our motorcycles on a local boat to ride across the Mekong River to the other side and take a quick stop at Laos Village to get a cup of Lao coffee before we continue to ride our motorcycle to Siem Pang. Then wil continue to ride further with some river crossing by boat before we reach Banlung City, the city center of Ratanakiri.

Note: In the wet season (July to early November) the rivers may be flooded with high levels of water, and we may ride another road longer to Banlung from Stung Treng. On arrival at Banluong, take one round ride on the outskirt to stop at Yakloam Lake before we get to our hotel for check-in and relaxation.

Dinner is on your own, our guide will recommend one good restaurant for you.

We start along the Mekong River, and then cross to the west side of the Mekong on another ferry and spend the rest of the day riding a mix of red dirt roads, excellent trails, and the occasional short section of paved roads through small towns. We will visit the lost temple of Preah Kampong Svay upon arrival, it is very ruined and built in the 12th century under the reign of King Jayavarman VII.  Dinner (own your own account) and overnight with a local family in this remote village.
