Day 1: Siem Reap – Battambang

At 08.00 am, meet at our motorcycle shop, and get a briefing on safety and riding trail conditions. You are also required to sign the released form and make the deposit of USD 500 per rider to guarantee the motorcycle damages. ,Leaving the city behind us, we’ll head west towards the Thai border. We’ll have the option of taking tarmac, dirt roads, or trails as we glide past lakes and alongside rivers. We’ll be stopping for lunch beside a large reservoir before continuing to the French colonial town of Battambang. For the brave ones of you amongst us, you’ll even have the chance to sample grilled rats at one of the roadside BBQS. It tastes like chicken! On arrival at Battambang, check-in and free at leisure ,Dinner on your own account (our guide will bring you to one of the best local restaurants in town)

Day 2: Battambang – Samlout - Pramouy

After a short cruise out of Battambang, we’ll arrive at Phnom Sampov: a small mountain that was the main stage of the Khmer Rouge’s major atrocities. We’ll visit the gruesome killing caves and see the guns that the Vietnamese were able to use to stave off the Khmer Rouge after they’d taken hold of the mountain. We have some great riding options for the day ahead of us: ride the trails of ‘Sticky Land’, an area that has rightfully earned that name because of the mud on the ground during the wet season, tackle some difficult, rocky terrain or stick to a winding dirt road that passes over some 50 small bridges. Check-in at the guesthouse upon arrival at the Pramouy, dinner is on your own (our guide will recommend a place where to eat good food).

Day 3: Pramouy – Koh Kong

We’ll hit a dirt road in the morning that passes through steep hills and provides some breathtaking views of the terrain below. We then have the option of taking some technically challenging routes through the thick jungle or we can stick to Chinese-built mountainous roads and visit a couple of impressive waterfalls along the way. Tonight’s destination is Koh Kong, a riverside town close to the border of Thailand. ,Upon arrival at the hotel in Koh Kong, we check-in, and late afternoon, our guide will arrange the tuk-tuk for you to ride to Peam Kralaop Wild Sanctuary to take a boat ride to view the biggest Mangrove forest in Southeast Asia and return to the hotel. Dinner is on your own (our guide will recommend you one of the best restaurants in town).

Day 5: Koh Kong – Chi Phat

Today can be easy or difficult: it’s up to you to decide! The harder option will tackle steep and technically trying, rocky hills, a number of bridges, river crossings, and some fun single-track trails. The easier route will stick to smoother roads that wind through the mountains and we’ll also visit the impressive Tatai waterfall along the way. ,On arrival at the Chi Phat community center, we will be welcomed by the hosts and they will get us to check in at one of the local houses (homestay) and get refreshments. ,Late afternoon, enjoy the slow boat ride along the Chi Phat River to view the sunset and enjoy a local beer or soft drink during the boat ride.

Day 6: Chi Phat – Sre Ambel – Kirirom

Breakfast at the community center.,Today is an awesome ride on loads of deep sandy single tracks, rocky climbs, rutted descents, river crossings, and more. You should arrive in Srae Ambel town for lunch, and then continue to ride on the Kirirom Mountain Ranges through the pine trees and lush jungle to Vkirirom Resort.

You will leave Kirirom National Park on a mixture of red-graded dirt roads and a sandy single track that cut through the surrounding countryside. You will cut across the Tonle Sap River in Kampong Chhnang by a local ferry. There will be some fast riding on the open flood plains in parts, but some serious ruts, so you have to be careful. Then, a series of rice fields and a single track will take you to Kampong Thom.
