Day 01: Vientiane – Sanakham – Paklai (230 km)
Today pick you up at 7:30 AM from your hotel . we get our bikes on the road up to Paklai district, Xayabouly Province. Most of the time it will be a dirt road through the bamboo groves, passing hill tribe villages, with beautiful views of Thai and Lao border landscape along the Mekong. We stop for lunch at a local restaurant in Sanakham. After this little town the road is partly paved. We climb in some mountainous areas up to 1000 meters, before crossing the Mekong to Paklai by a small ferry. We arrive there in the late afternoon. Accommodation: Doungchai Pet guesthouse (shearing room)
Bikes: Honda 250cc ( Baja, XR and CRF)

Day 02: Paklai – Thongmixay – Xayabouly town (185 km)
Early morning start riding on an unpaved road, passing endless peanut, corn, sticky rice and long bean fields. Lunch will be served at local restaurant at Ban Thongmixay. We then ride through the beautiful Nam Phouy National Protected Area. This park is known for its wildlife even it is difficult to get sightings of the animals. Arrival Xayabouly town, the provincial capital, is expected to be in the late afternoon. Accommodation: Xay Anun hotel (shearing room)

Day 03: Xayabouly – Hongsa – Ban Khop (245 km)
This day gives some hard riding on a dusty road, but with little traffic only. We can visit some villages of Low-land Lao, Hmong and Khmu along the way. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Ban Hongsa before riding for another 165 km to Ban Khop, where we stay overnight Accommodation: local guesthouse (shearing room)

Day 04: Ban Khop – Pak Khop – Pak Tha – Houy Xai – Vieng Phoukha (195 km)
After a relaxed breakfast we take a short ride to Pak Khop, where we load our bikes on a boat which will bring us to Pak Tha, the confluence of the Namtha and Mekong rivers. The boat trip takes about 3 hours, and then ride from here to Houay Xai (Bokeo province) for about 40 minutes. After lunch we continue our journey to Vieng Phouka (95 km) and arrive in mid-afternoon. After check-in we will visit some nearby villages of the Akha, Hmong, Kouy, and Lan Tan ethnic tribes. Accommodation: local guesthouse (shearing room)

Day 05: Vieng Phouka – Nale – Na Mor – Boun Tai (246 km)
Today we will ride through the Nam Ha National Protected Area passing some villages. We have to cross three small streams before we reach the high peak of the Pou Vieng mountain from where we will enjoy stunning views of the Nam Ha NPA. We will go down to the small Nale town, where our lunch will be served at local restaurant nearby the Nam Tha River. After lunch our destination is the Na Mor village. We have to cross a river by boat. The way to the final destination of this day, Ban Boun Tai, is far from any tourist route and the condition of the narrow trail is hilly, rocky and curved. We arrive in Boun Tai in the afternoon. Accommodation: Hongthong hotel (shearing room)

Day 06: Boun Tai – Pak Nam Noi – Oudomxay – Luang Prabang (214 km)
Today we follow road No. B1 down to Pak Nam Noi. On the way we can stop to visit some minority villages of the Yao, Red Akha, and Khmu ethnic groups. The road may be a bit rocky. We will stop in Oudomxay town for lunch. After lunch we have an easy ride on Highway No.13 which offers some great views. After about 3 hours to heritage town Luang Prabang Accommodation: Villa Phoumaly (shearing room)

Day 07: Explore heritage town
