Day 1: Hanoi - Lao Cai
Around 20:00, be welcomed by our driver and then transfer to Hanoi station to take the night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on train (shared A/C 4-soft berth)
Day 2: Lao Cai - Bac Ha - Xin Man
Arrival in Lao Cai around 06:00, be welcomed and transferred to a hotel near the station for a shower, a relaxation and breakfast. Then depart for one of the markets of Sin Cheng, Can Cau or Bac Ha (Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday) which are typical weekly markets in the Lao Cai. At the market, you meet local people from different ethnic minorities such as, the flowering H'mongs, Tays, Phu La, Daos. You here will find not only local products but also animal especially buffalos. Then you do light trek in the ethnic villages around Bac Ha before leaving for Xin Man. Upon arrival, check in homestay/hotel and overnight at Xin Man.
Day 3: Xin Man - Quang Nguyen ~ 20km ~ 7h
After breakfast, transfer to the site where you trek through the mountains and ethnic villages of H'mongs, red Daos and Nungs. Enjoy lunch at a local house on the way. Afterwards, continue to the commune of Quang Nguyen – homeland of red Daos. Check in homestay and overnight on a house on stilts.
Day 4: Quang Nguyen - Nung Cu ~ 20km ~ 7h
After breakfast at homestay, start the treks through the rice terraces and waterfalls in the village of Vinh Tien, land of the Red Daos. Then you go through the mountain at an altitude of 1420m (~ 2h and ~ 2,5km) where you walk through cardamom and bamboo. Enjoy picnic lunch at the summit before going down to the village of Son Thanh Thuong, land of the Red Daos and continue trekking on the slopes with a beautiful view of the valleys to Nung Cu village – where you will see Nung people. Upon arrival, enjoy a welcome cup of tea and check in homestay before walking in this village to discover the life and daily activities of the Nungs. Have dinner and overnight at homestay.
Day 5: Nung Cu - Khoa Thuong - Nam Hong ~ 16km ~ 6h

After breakfast, continue treks through Nung Moi village, rice terraces, mountains and bamboo forests to Khoa Thuong village. Enjoy lunch at the family of the Red Daos.

In the afternoon, trek from Khoa Thuong to of Nam Hong through rice terraces, valleys, forests and ethnic villages ... The places will offer a beautiful collection of photos. Arrive at Nam Hong Village, Hoang Su Phi Lodge in the late afternoon. In the everning, take part to the traditional music show of different ethnic groups in Hoang Su Phi and overnight at a private bungalow.

Day 6: Nam Hong - Giang Ha - Phin Ho - Nam Nghi ~ 15km ~ 5h
Breakfast at Hoang Su Phi Lodge. Today, you will trek to the village of Nam Nghi, land of the Red Daos. The treks will take you through tea hills, organic, bamboo forests, terraced rice fields and ethnic villages. Enjoy lunch at Giang Thuong Village. In the afternoon, continue trekking Phin Ho village (well known for its organic tea) before reaching Nam Nghi village. Check in homestay and overnight at a family of Daos people.
Day 7: Nam Nghi - Lang Giang - Hanoi ~ 6km ~ 2h
Breakfast at homestay, then say goodbye to the host family and trek down to the village of Lang Giang where you will meet our driver then drive back to Hanoi. Service ends
