Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival  – D
Arrival at Siem Reap. The tour begins with a visit to the largest religious temple in the world – Angkor Wat founded by a massive builder Suryavarman II reigned in the 12th century. After more than 2 hours walking around the temple, head back to the hotel for a noon break to avoid the heat.. 3.00 pm, departure to visit the largest and high protected city Angkor Thom, follows by a sequent visit to South Gate, Bayon, Baphuon, Royal Enclosure, Elephant and Leper King Terrace. Welcome dinner at the local restaurant.
Day 2: Siem Reap Discovery – B/L
After breakfast, depart to hike up Bakheng hill for a fantastic view of the region and Angkor Wat. Continue to a quiet atmospheric temple of Preah Khan and Neak Pean before heading back to the hotel for a noon break to avoid the heat. 3.00 pm, leave the hotel again for the visit to Choasay Tevoda – a small beautiful temple found by the same king who built Angkor Wat, Ta Keo temple – a great pyramid sandstone temple found in the early 11th century, and the famous temple covered by giant tree roots Ta Prohm.
Day 3: Siem Reap Discovery – B/L
Early morning at 5.00  is, catch dawn breaking at Angkor Wat for a great photo opportunity of the temple reflected into a pond in front of it. Back to the hotel for breakfast and continue to the earliest capital city of the Khmer Empire – Rolous group was founded by Jayavarman II, who resigned late in the 9th century. Back to the hotel for a noon break. 3.00 pm, drive North of Siem Reap through the rural villages of Cambodians to visit a most beautiful temple, pink and yellow sandstone Banteay Srei, and sunset view from the top of Pre Rup temple on the way back.
Day 4: Siem Reap -> Battambang – B/L/
Early morning at 6.45 am, catch the boat through the great lake Tonle Sap to Prek Tuol (CORRECTION: to Battambang and pass by Prek Tuol) where you will see a variety of birds, continue along Sang Ke river through several floating villages to Battambang town. Arrive in Battambang, check in to a small lovely hotel near the market, short break at the hotel, and a city walk for a great look at the French colonial architecture. Dinner at white Rose restaurant – the only good restaurant in Battambang.
Day 5: Battambang Discovery B/L/
After breakfast, drive to the bamboo train station for a unique experience on the bamboo train builds on the bamboo panel across rice paddy fields and villages. The trip will be back and forth for a house before continuing to Phnom Sampeu for a great view from the hilltop and a visit to the killing caves remains of the Pol Pot regime. The day follows by a visit to the great lake of Pol Pot reservoir – Kamping Pouy, Khmer style picnic lunch can be included. Drive back to the hotel and the rest of the day is free at leisure in Battambang.
Day 6: Battambang -> Phnom Penh – B/L/
After breakfast, departure to Phnom Penh follows by a visit to Udong for a view over houses, rice paddy fields, and temples. Arrive in Phnom Penh to check-in at the hotel.
Day 7: Phnom Penh – Excursion Day – B/L
Heading south out of Phnom Penh. our first stop will be the hill-top fortress temple of Phnom Chisor.   Constructed in 1018 by Suryavarman I this impressive site provides spectacular views across the paddy fields of Southern Cambodia to Vietnam. The rarely visited temple is in relatively good condition and still, has many well-preserved carvings. Our next stop will be the Jayavarman VII period Ta Prom, Tonle Bati – this time a Buddhist temple, but also in good condition with some great carved reliefs.Local style lunch on floating rafts on the nearby Tonle Bati Lake before continuing to Phnom Tamao Wildlife Sanctuary.  Acknowledged as Cambodia’s foremost wildlife sanctuary Phnom Ta Mao provides a home for wild animals rescued from hunters, animal traffickers, or private ‘zoos’ as well as running breeding programs for endangered species. The animals include a wide cross-section of Cambodia’s wildlife, many of them now very rare in the wild: elephants, bears, crocodiles, tigers, gibbons, and numerous bird species. The ultimate aim is to rehabilitate the animals for eventual release into the wild. Conditions are not always ideal since money is in short supply, so a visit to Phnom Tamao not only allows a glimpse of rare and spectacular Cambodian wildlife but also contributes to this highly worthy operation.
Day 8: Phnom Penh Discovery  – B/L – Departure
8.00 am, pick up from the hotel to visit S21 (genocidal museum) where Pol Pot detained and tortured over 15,000 prisoners during the regime. Visit the famous Russian market to break up your bad mood after the site of S21. Khmer-style lunch in a little cafe near the market and continue to Killing Field and follow by a visit to Wat Phnom, the state temple of Phnom Penh before a tour of the grand palace and silver pagoda. The complex combines a visit to the throne hall where all king took their coronation and stay there for a certain period, a view of the king’s house, and a magnificent visit to the French architectural building of Napoleon III removed Egypt. Continue to the silver pagoda or emerald temple where a thousand kilograms of silver tiles were laid on the floor, and gold made Buddhas’ statues, as well as thousand pieces of diamond embedded in the statues.
The walk along the waterfront provides you the best view of the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers with a good drink at a famous bar FCC.
