Take a scenic drive to Amarapura to explore Mahaganayone monastery, home to thousands of monks. Then we take a boat trip to Indein, an ancient village where you will spend your time to discover the great complex of Indein Pagoda. Among them, some are well-kept with gold, some are mossy-tiled and dominated by nature. The morning of day 7 takes you to Sagar, a remote village on the southern shore of Inle Lake. The peaceful village is where you will discover ancient pagodas and 108 “sunken stupas”. You will visit Thaya Gone Village to climb up to the top of the hill to marvel at the panoramic view surrounding. Then proceed to Kyaing Kan Village where you will see the locals weave monk’s robes from fibers pulled from the lotus stems. Day 10: Kawthaung – Nyaung Oo Phee Island (B, L, D)
This morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast at Victoria Cliff Hotel & Resort. At about 8 am, we meet at the hotel lobby. Then meet your guide to learning how to use a life jacket. You also learn local knowledge about the way to Nyaung Oo Phee (NOP) Island and snorkeling spots before you reach there. About 9 am, we transfer to Kawthaung jetty to take a 1 hour 45 min speedboat ride to Nyaung Oo Phee Island, a wonderful paradise in the Andaman Sea. After check-in at the hotel, start 3 hours snorkeling tour.
