Day 1: Saigon – Cai Be – An Binh Island
8:00 AM: You will be met up with our biking team at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and transferred to Cai Be. Upon your arrival in Cai Be, you will embark on a boat for a short cruise. Stop will be made for you to see floating market, popcorn, rice-paper and coconut candy making. Arriving in An Binh island, you start cycling around the island. Dinner and overnight at homestay.
Day 2: An Binh Island – Mo Cay – Tra Vinh
Check out homestay. You continue your bike ride cycling on the village road, passing by see fruit gardens, canals. Lunch will be provided in small local restaurant in Mo Cay. After lunch, keep riding to Co Chien where you take a ferry to cross the river and continue your bike ride until you arrive in Tra Vinh. Check into a local hotel for overnight.
Day 3: Tra Vinh – Tieu Can – Cau Quan – Dai Ngai – Soc Trang
Check out hotel. Continue your adventures ride from Tra Vinh to Tieu Can. Some stops will be made en route for you to to visit Khmer pagoda, Khmer village and rice fields. Lunch is provided in local restaurant or in local house in Cau Quan. After lunch, you take a ferry and keep traveling to Dai Ngai where you disembark your bikes again for another ride, to Soc Trang. Overnight in Soc Trang at hotel.
Day 4: Soc Trang – Ke Sach – Can Tho
After breakfast, you start the day with a short tour of the city. You will ride around the small town to visit Khleang Pagoda is a well-known Khmer ancient pagoda in Mekong delta. Visit Dat Set (Clay) Pagoda which is famous for its collection of colorful clay statues. This is a family pagoda so there is no monk living here. It is kept by members of the Ngo family who founded the pagoda over 100 years ago. At present, Ngo Kim Tong is the forth generation of the family who presides over the pagoda. Keep riding along countryside road to visit rice field, vegetable farm, sweet potato farm…Lunch is provided at local cafe in Ke Sach village. After lunch, keep riding along villages to Can Tho. On the way you will see animal farming such as ducks, buffalo…. Check in homestay in Can Tho. Overnight and dinner at homestay.
Day 5: Can Tho – Long Xuyen
Get up early and take a morning boat trip, cruising along the river to visit Cai Rang floating market, then the boat will take you to Binh Minh where you will ride bicycle along countryside to get back to hotel. Check out hotel and keep riding to Can Tho ferry. You cross river and continue riding along the Mekong River, to Vam Cong where you take another ferry to reach Long Xuyen. Check into a local hotel in Long Xuyen for overnight.
Day 6: Long Xuyen – Sa Dec – Saigon
After breakfast, you check out the hotel, enjoy your last bike ride before travelling back to Saigon. You cross the river by ferry, then ride along Lap Vo canal to Sa Dec where you stop to visit Cao Dai temple, flower garden. Make another stop en route for lunch, then hope on your bus to travel back to Saigon. Arriving in Saigon, you will be dropped off at your hotel in town (hotel: own arrangements).
