Prepare for an extraordinary adventure with our "Journey by Bicycle from Da Lat to Nha Trang and Vung Tau - 15 Days." This meticulously crafted tour offers an unparalleled cycling experience, traversing the diverse and captivating landscapes of Southern Vietnam. Designed for avid cyclists and those seeking a blend of physical challenge, cultural immersion, and breathtaking scenery, this journey takes you from the misty, pine-covered highlands of Da Lat, through verdant coffee and tea plantations, down to the sun-drenched beaches of Nha Trang, and finally along the scenic coastline to the bustling city of Vung Tau. This isn't just a bike tour; it's an immersive exploration of Vietnam's rich heritage, stunning natural beauty, and vibrant local life, all experienced at the exhilarating pace of two wheels.

Your adventure begins in Da Lat, often called the "City of Eternal Spring" or "Little Paris." Here, you'll acclimatize to the cool mountain air and embark on initial rides through picturesque valleys, past French colonial architecture, and alongside serene lakes. The early stages of the tour will challenge you with exhilarating descents and moderate climbs, rewarding you with panoramic views of coffee and tea plantations, vibrant flower farms, and majestic waterfalls. You'll have the chance to visit local farms, learn about agricultural practices, and perhaps even taste some of Vietnam's finest coffee.

As the journey progresses, you'll transition from the highlands to the coast, with an epic downhill ride that takes you from elevations of over 1,500 meters to sea level, offering incredible views along the way. This segment leads you to Nha Trang, a renowned coastal city celebrated for its pristine beaches, clear turquoise waters, and vibrant marine life. Here, you'll have the opportunity to relax by the sea, enjoy fresh seafood, or explore ancient Cham temples, remnants of a bygone era. The cycling along the coast will be a refreshing change, with sea breezes and stunning ocean vistas accompanying your ride.

The expedition continues south, revealing more of Vietnam's captivating coastline. You'll cycle through charming fishing villages, past salt fields, and alongside picturesque bays, experiencing the authentic rhythm of coastal life. The route might even take you close to Mui Ne, famous for its unique red and white sand dunes, offering a surreal landscape against the backdrop of the sea.

Finally, your pedaling adventure culminates in Vung Tau, a popular coastal city known for its beautiful beaches, the iconic Christ the King statue, and a historic lighthouse. The journey to Vung Tau will offer a mix of coastal roads and glimpses into rural life, providing a fulfilling sense of accomplishment as you reach your final destination. Throughout the 15 days, you'll be fully supported by experienced local guides and a dedicated support vehicle, ensuring your safety, comfort, and an unforgettable exploration of Southern Vietnam. Day 1: Hochiminh Arrival
Greetings from Vietnam. When you arrive at Tan San Nhat International Airport, a driver and guide from Golden Trail Travel will meet you and take you to the hotel located in the center of Ho Chi Minh City. Known by its former name, Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City is known as "the pearl of the Far East." One of the most memorable place names in Asia is undoubtedly Saigon, the biggest and busiest city in Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh City has the most Western atmosphere of any Vietnamese city. Amazing contrasts can be found in this city: upscale new international hotels, upscale dining establishments, and hip clubs coexist alongside roadside noodle stands, noisy cyclo drivers, and street kids. Markets, pagodas, karaoke clubs, and golf courses compete for space with bowling alleys, shopping centers, and golf courses. Words like "bustling," "booming," "crowded," and "noisy" hardly begin to describe the chaotic, alluring, and frequently captivating city of Saigon. Remain in a hotel.Summary:Activities: picking up and transferring to HotelAccommodation: HotelMeals: DCycling distance: No
Day 2: Hochiminh – Dalat
Eat a substantial breakfast at the hotel. Savor a three-hour ride to Di Linh Town, stop for lunch on the way, and then start riding from Dai Ninh Lake to Dalat. We have a pleasant 27-kilometer ride on a paved road before climbing to Dalat. While traveling through coffee plantations, pepper fields, mountainous roads, and flower farms, you will be treated to breathtaking views. Spend the night in a hotel.Summary:Activities: Transferring and warming up cyclingAccommodation: HotelMeals: B/L/DCycling distance: 56 Km
Day 3: Dalat city and outskirts
Bicycle exploration on the many back roads is possible. Before veering off to bike in Langbian Mountain's shadow, cycle beside Xuan Huong Lake. The journey passes via vegetable and flower gardens, tiny towns, charming churches, elaborate graveyards, cobblestone lanes, and historic colonial structures. It's an uneven terrain. While traveling, make a stop at a flower farm to view coffee plantations. The walk can take you to the spot where Alexander Yersin, the man who founded Dalat, originally intended to develop the community. It offers breathtaking views of a lake encircled by pine forests. Continue spending a night at Dalat.(Riding 35 km)Spend the night in a hotel.Summary:Activities:Cycling from hotelAccommodation: HotelMeals:B/L/DCycling distance: 35 Km
Day 4: Da Lat - Lak Lake
Proceeding 70 kilometers inward from Dalat. At the summit of a mountain, begin your ride. The route winds through a jungle with breathtaking views of Langbian in the distance and is incredibly quiet. Spend the night in a long house in the center of a village by a lake. Numerous longhouses are situated around the lakes, each accompanied by a group of young potbellied pigs and their corresponding puppy dogs. The longhouse is quite cozy. There is mosquito netting, a mattress, and blankets. There are cold showers and western-style outdoor restrooms. Dinner will be at the same residence as the homestay tonight. To capture the breathtaking panoramic splendor of Lak Lake, if it is possible, we would want to stay at the Lak Lake resort.
