Overview
Trekking for nine days offers some of the most breathtaking natural scenery in North Vietnam. Adventurous travelers can explore and enjoy the stunning limestone mountain ranges of Pu Luong Nature Reserve, the picturesque rice terrace paddy of Ngoc Son Ngo Luong Nature Reserve, and one of the largest national parks, Cuc Phuong. Additionally, visitors get to connect with and stay with Muong, Thai homestay tribes, partake in live music performances, and consume traditional cuisine.
While trekking on a combination of well-maintained single-track paths and rugged, undulating jeep trails, we saw beautiful scenery as we traveled through villages and over lush rice paddies. Hiking in the central region of Cuc Phuong National Park offers breathtaking views of Vietnam's most diversified national park, which is home to a wide range of unusual plants and animals in the limestone mountain forest. Several rare species of primates, including loris, langurs, and gibbons, which are found throughout Vietnam but are in risk of going extinct, can be seen at the endangered Primates Rescued Center.
Easy to moderate trekking is available in Pu Luong Nature Reserve, with visits lasting one to several days. Explore the Kho Muong Bat Cave, raft the Ma River, and travel to a charming Thai town.

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival:

Greetings from Vietnam. When you arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, a driver and guide from Golden Trail Travel will meet you and take you to the hotel located in the center of Hanoi. Hanoi, the historic and vibrant capital of Vietnam, is home to some of Asia's most remarkable colonial buildings as well as a distinct old world charm. Following check-in, unwind on your own while discussing the schedule for the next few days with our guide. Take a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter's busy streets to explore Hanoi's blend of modern and historical charm. You will be greeted with a special welcome meal at a traditional Vietnamese restaurant following the trip. Day 1: Hanoi Arrival:

Day 2: Hanoi – Cuc Phuong National Park

Get away from the bustle of the city for more than two hours with our shuttle bus; en route, you'll see pure scenery and real village life.We proceed to Cuc Phuong, Vietnam's oldest national park, which has an interesting biological and cultural history along with lovely scenery. After arriving, you will check into your hotel or guest home and have lunch at the park headquarters' local eatery.One of the attractions of a trip to Cuc Phuong is an afternoon visit to the Turtle Conservation Center, also known as the Endangered Primate Rescue Center, where you may see some of the rarest primate species in the planet. The severely endangered Delacour's Langur, Golden-headed Langur, Tonkin Snub-nosed Langur, and Black Crested Gibbon are among the langurs, loris, and gibbon species that can be found in the primate center's collection. Day 2: Hanoi – Cuc Phuong National Park

Day 3: Cuc Phuong National Park – Khanh village

You will have breakfast and head to the Cave of Prehistoric Man, where stone artifacts and human skeletons dating back about 7,500 years have been discovered. You will wake up to the sound of gibbons. After leaving the cave, the vehicle will take you to the park headquarters, from where you will go on a hike through a verdant forest to reach Khanh village, the serene abode of the amiable Muong ethnic group. You'll have a picnic lunch on way today. Day 3: Cuc Phuong National Park – Khanh village

When you taste traditional cake that has been baked by the host, a specific flavor will be detected. After dinner, we begin bamboo rafting on the serene Buoi river to observe how slowly time passes. After getting off the raft, the automobile will take you to Thuong hamlet, home to the friendly Muong ethnic people and a beautiful Mo waterfall. Lunch will be served to you at the homestay by the waterfall. You will hike through the forest, ascend a hill, descend to a spring, and eventually arrive at Ngoc Son Ngo Luong Nature Reserve in the afternoon. Day 4: Khanh - Thuong village – Ngoc Son Ngo Luong Nature Reserve

Day 5: Khuong village – Mon village

To enjoy the pure landscape and traditional village life, get up early and take a tour around the village.To learn about the lives of the locals, meet and converse with them. You could even help the host out with breakfast. Following breakfast, we hike to Mu village, where you will be astounded by the magnificent Mu waterfall and the basic rice mortar powered by residual water. Surprisingly, swimming is one of the best outdoor sports available today. You will return to the Mu Stream homestay at lunchtime. You will hike to the charming Mon village in the afternoon, passing past villages and rice paddies. Day 5: Khuong village – Mon village

Day 6: Mon village – Hieu village

You will bid the guesthouse owners farewell after breakfast and resume your journey. After walking to the settlement of Coi Gao, you will enter the jungle. You will get the opportunity to go on what is regarded as one of the most picturesque trails in the northern region of Vietnam today. You will arrive at Pu Luong Nature Reserve after strolling beneath the canopy of enormous trees, occasionally passing by tiny springs, and possibly becoming lost for several hours in the sounds of nature. In the forest, a picnic lunch will be provided by the spring. Once you emerge from the forest at dusk, you can stroll down the village road and take a picture of the amazing scene of cooking smoke emissions from different Thai ethnic people's stilt dwellings. When you arrive at Hieu village, the homestay owner will greet you with warmth. Day 6: Mon village – Hieu village

Day 7: Hieu village – Nua Village

At daybreak, take in the surreal landscape of the waterfall and stroll through the hamlet to meet the locals. After enjoying a full breakfast with the host, we said them farewell.We start our hike along a stream, passing through rice terraces and covering 13 to 15 km (approximately 5 to 6 hours). Day 7: Hieu village – Nua Village

Day 8: Nua Village – Kho Muong Village

You will be treated to the joys of the pho Doan market if you are fortunate enough to be here on Thursday.On our way to the markets, we left early and traveled with a large number of the villagers. We can stroll through the market and take in the ambiance before continuing by foot for four hours uphill to the hidden hamlet of Kho Muong. Among the village homestays, this one is arguably the most isolated. Hike to a recently found, protected cave that is home to endangered bat species. The walk around the vast, hollow interior is amazing; it hasn't been affected by concrete trails or fairy lights yet. Day 8: Nua Village – Kho Muong Village

Today's trip is 50% on an abandoned, unpaved French road that was once the Ho Chi Minh Trail, and 50% on village paths, single track trails, past terraced rice paddies, and cross streams. There are multiple stream crossings and a few nice descents. Trekking is secluded, yet you're never far from locals working the fields. Take a break from the heat at a local home while lunch is being prepared, then head to a community tucked between steep karst slopes. It is advised to take a leisurely stroll through the villages and see the people going about their everyday lives. Alternatively, unwind at one of the three eco-homestays. Day 9: Kho Muong -- Hang village

Day 10: Hang village - Boat trip Ma river – Mai Chau – Hanoi.

stroll across the small valley to the intersection where we stroll to the wonderful Ma river after enjoying a leisurely breakfast. Take a boat upstream and pass through a few ethnic minority settlements in around 20 minutes. We board a bus to Mai Chau for lunch after arriving at the meeting place with the driver. Spend some time strolling through Mai Chau Village after lunch while buying gifts for your friends. Bid farewell to Mai Chau and return to Hanoi in three hours.We arrive just in time for a lavish farewell party to cap off an amazing journey.
