Day 1: Corregidor Island
Today’s activity is a warm up ride for you to get used to the Philippines weather or humidity. Our weather can be a challenge for some cyclists especially during the months of March to May when temperature gets as high as 38 to 40 degrees Celsius.Corregidor Island used to serve as a very modern military base during the American occupation of the Philippines before World War 2. Here you’ll see old military installations like batteries and artillery; tunnels and ruins of the war.Distance: 20 kilometersRoute Condition: PavementsAccommodation: White Knight Hotel
Day 2: Taal Volcano
Enjoy the trails of one of the most favorite mountain biking destinations by local mountain bikers, the Santa Rosa Network of Trails. Bike your way to the Tagaytay ridge and on to the Taal Lake for a hike on its crater.Lunch is served by the lake. Enjoy scrumptious serving of local Filipino food. Day 3: San Pablo Trails
Have a blast biking the single tracks of San Pablo Trails with a picturesque view of “The Devil’s Mountain”, the Mount Cristobal. Lunch is served in Pandin Lake on a bamboo raft while being pulled towards the other side. Day 4: Lucban Trails
We will visit some of the oldest churches built in 16th century in the town of Nagcarlan, Laguna – the Under Ground Cemetery and the Majayjay Church in the town of Majayjay, Laguna. A side trip to the town of Liliw, Laguna is also possible if you want to shop for nice and locally made footwears, native bags, and house decorations.You will ride the jungle of Lucban up to the waterfall of Taytay. Day 5: Tayabas Trails
Today’s mountain biking tour is going to be more of Tayabas Trails but this time, it is a little bit more technical and challenging. We will bike through rice fields, coconut plantations and several hanging bridges. Tayabas is the town adjacent to Lucban.After the trail ride, the group can also opt to hike the “Kamay Ni Hesus” or “Jesus’ Arms’” – a huge statue situated on top of a hill with almost 299 steps overlooking the entire town of Lucban, Quezon. Day 6: Naga
Today is a long travel to Naga, Bicol by car so we will depart and bid farewell to the historic town of Lucban early in the morning. Once in Naga, we will bike up and swim on a local waterfalls found in the heart of Mount Isarog. Day 7: Atulayan Island
Today we will mountain bike on one of the popular mountain biking tour destination in Naga, the Consocep. After the bike ride, we will board an outrigger boat that will bring us to Atulayan Island where we can enjoy swimming on crystal clear water and have a picnic at the beach front.Please note that sometimes the trail can be muddy and can be dangerous to bike. Day 8: Mayon Volcano
Your mountain biking holiday in the Philippines is not complete without a visit to the majestic Mayon Volcano. Visit the famous Cagsawa Ruins with Mayon Volcano in the background. We can also try some locally-made pastries made from Pili nuts – a kind of nut that is very abundant in the Bicol region.Expect fun and volcanic single tracks trail. Day 9: Whale Shark Interaction
The Philippines is home to many whale sharks locally known as “Butanding”. The Butanding, although gigantic in size is a very gentle and kind animal and is considered as the largest among the species of fish. Day 10: Intramuros – The Wallad City
Our driver and tour leader will drive you to Legazpi Airport for your flight back to Manila. Travel time is only 1 hour.
