Our team picks you up from your hotel for the airport transfer. Take the flight to Dien Bien Phu.
On arrival, check into the hotel and have refreshment.
Lunch at the hotel.
In the afternoon visit Dien Bien Phu Museum.
Overnight at Dien Bien Phu.
Day 2: Dien Bien Phu Tour (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit the strongholds protecting the northern side of the Hedgehog of Dien Bien Phu which were the targets of the first range of attacks by the Viet Minh. Recall the development of the battles at the Him Lam Hill (Beatrice), Doc Lap Hill (Gabrielle) and Ban Keo (Anne Marie). The vivid marks of the past battles certainly help to carry you back in time.
In the afternoon, visit the central zone of the Hedgehog and the strategic eastern hills & knolls taking in: The Commander Post, the A1 Hill (Eliane 2), C1, C2 and D1 Hills. These were targets of the second series of attacks by Viet Minh. Recall and analysis the course of events. Our tour also includes samples of the track that Viet Minh used for pulling the artillery into the site as well as sample locations of the former artillery sites.

Overnight at Dien Bien Phu.
Day 3: Dien Bien Phu Tour/Dien Bien Phu – Hanoi (VN8205: 1620-1720) (B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning, visit the site of once Hong Cum Zone (Isabelle) protecting the hedgehog from the south and some Thai villages in the Muong Thanh Valley. Isabelle was the last stronghold to surrender to Viet Minh concluding the Dien Bien Phu Battle.
