Day 1: Yangon Arrival
Mingalaba! Welcome to Yangon. Today, meet and welcome by our local tour guide at the airport. It might be a bit tired after the flight so we will directly transfer you to the hotel for check-in. After settling into your hotel, enjoy your leisure time.

Day 2: Yangon – Bagan

Leave Yangon early this morning to take a flight to Bagan – the temple town of Myanmar where possesses over 2200 temples and pagodas. Upon arrival at Bagan airport, our guide will escort you for a visit to the rural area of Bagan. Here you will have an opportunity to get a glimpse of the real way of the local life in the countryside. You will pay a visit to some of the households in the village for a short meet and greet with the host. After that, highlight your morning sightseeing with a horse cart ride to slowly travel and behold the charming of Bagan through the dusty path. The carriage will lead you from the popular route to some exotic path that normal cars are hard to access.

Following your lunch with an interesting visit to one of the most treasured handicrafts workshops nearby Myinkaba village to meet the local artisans and learn more about the way they create unique lacquerware. From here, proceed to Manuha Temple, one of the oldest temples in Bagan enshrining four large images of the Buddha. Then your guide also takes you to Nanbaya Temple which is a unique sandstone monument where is said to be Manuha’s prison. To date, the temple is pretty fine and contains intricated carvings of Brahma, the god in Hinduism and some depictions of other Hindu gods. Your afternoon sightseeing also includes a visit to Bupaya pagoda or Mingala Zedi Stupa where you can enjoy the majestic sunset over the gentle Irrawaddy River.

Day 3: Bagan – Cruise

Rise before dawn this morning to take part in an amazing activity: a hot air balloon ride over Bagan. As the driver takes you to the balloon point, enjoy some coffee or tea for the morning before experiencing a trip of your lifetime. As the first hint of sun was creasing the horizon, listen to the harmony of the wind swaying in the air and marvel at thousands of temples in and out the shade of the tree. Your balloon ride will last for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Upon landing, retrieve vehicles will be on hand to serve sparkling wine and refreshments before the driver picks you to the hotel for check-out.

At 12:30 pm, check-in at the board and lunch will be served after that. Start your afternoon sightseeing with a trip to the Khayminga pagoda complex to marvel at the excellent combination of the natural masterpiece and historical man-made structure. Make your way to Ananda Temple, which was one of the first temples built in Bagan. It is regarded by folklore as one of the most beautiful and well-preserved temples in Myanmar. In the late afternoon, our guide will take you to the sunset hill where both locals and tourists gather and wait for one of the best sunsets in the world.
Later, return to the board and enjoy a small welcome briefing and champagne in the Kasi Panorama Lounge before having a candlelit sandbank dinner in the backdrop of the twinkling lights of Bagan.

Day 4: Bagan – Sagaing Cruise
Power up your morning sightseeing with a visit to Nyaung U Market, the most vibrant bazaar in Bagan. It is where you can gaze out at the local staples and meet the smiling face covered with Tanaka makeup powder. After that, visit Shwezigon Pagoda, one of the oldest and most popular pagodas in Myanmar. Once said to be home to the Buddha’s relics, upon here, you can marvel at the huge gold plated pagoda glimmering in the sun and other dramatic structure of the pagoda.
After returning to the ship, we continue sailing upstream toward Sagaing. During the cruise, there will be some exciting activities take place on the board such as wearing longyi (the traditional dress of Myanmar) and putting on Tanaka (the make-up powder of Burmese women). Dinner then will be served in the Talifoo Restaurant.
Day 5: Sagaing – Mandalay Cruise
This morning delivers you a great opportunity to attend a cooking class with the Executive Chef and learn the way to make some delicious Burmese dishes.
In the afternoon, docking at the jetty in Sagaing and we then start an afternoon sightseeing to Sagaing Hill. Possessing 554 monasteries where is home to 6000 monks and nuns, Sagaing Hill is one of the most important religious sites in Myanmar. Make the first visit to a Monastic school to meet the monks and learn about the teaching of Buddhism. Head up to the Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda on the top of the hill after that to behold the great view from the pagoda overlooking the large area and the beautiful Irrawaddy River.
In the late afternoon, follow your guide to Amarapura, which is well-known as the city of Immortals. Make your way to the U Bein bridge, which is far-famed as the oldest and longest teak bridge in the world. For a long time, the beautiful bridge has created one of the best places in Myanmar to behold the majestic sunset over Taungthaman Lake. Take your time to enjoy the great scenery and then going back to the Sanctuary Ananda.
Day 6: Mandalay City Tour
Following your breakfast this morning with a visit to Mahamuni Pagoda, one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Myanmar. Every day, there are many pilgrims gather to pray above the golden Buddha image which is believed dating back to 2000 years ago. Leaving the pagoda, you can stop at a local workshop where artisans use the traditional method for making gold leaves. Here you can try hands-on making the gold leaf under the guidance of the artisan. Complete your Mandalay city tour with a visit to Kuthodaw Pagoda to marvel at the world’s largest Buddhist book depicted on 729 marble slabs.
Day 7: Mandalay – Heho – Inle Lake

Say goodbye to the cultural city of Myanmar this morning to fly to Heho, the gateway to Inle Lake. Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to Nyaungshwe from where we pick a boat trip to transfer to the hotel for check-in. Take a short break until the guide takes you to the boat trip again for a full day exploring the most beautiful lake of Myanmar. We will make our first visit of the day at Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda to discover the holiest religious site in southern Shan State where enshrining five 800-year-old golden images of Buddha.

Continue your stunning boat trip, you will have a stop at local workshops along the way to gaze out at the traditional silk weaving and blacksmith of the people on the lake. Your next visit will be Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, the oldest and largest wooden monastery in Inle Lake. From here, proceed to Nampan Village to discover the Shan and Intha way of life. The village is where you can see the local cheroot factory and canoe carving.

Day 8: Inle Lake – Indein

Soak up the lively market this morning which rotates every five days. Here you will have a chance to encounter many hill tribe people who dress in colorful attires barter for good and product. The market is also where you can see many monks return for their morning alms. Then we continue today’s exploration. Get on a boat trip and pass through the narrow canals flow through the endless floating gardens, you will reach Indein. It is a small village where we will look for the famous Indein pagoda, a complex of ancient shrines with different shapes and colors. Some mossy tiled, some glittering with a golden hue. Spend your time to walk along the colonnade where many shop stalls selling exotic things.

After that, your guide will escort you to meet the long neck women who live in the stilt-house and make their living from the traditional weaving. As you return to Inle Lake, you will catch the most expected image: the Intha fishermen. For a long time, they have become the iconic image of the lake by the unique method of rowing. Day 9: Inle Lake – Thandwe – Ngapali
Check-out at your hotel this morning and transfer to the airport to fly to Ngapali.
