Start your authentic adventure with a scenic trek through the breathtaking terraced rice fields of Song Mooc (2km, 1.5 hours, physical level: 2/5).
As you follow the winding trails, be captivated by the landscapes of green terraces and dramatic mountain peaks rising in the distance. Enjoy sweeping panoramic views of the valley below, where the fields form a stunning patchwork of color.
Later, transfer to visit the Cao Ba Lanh Strategic High Ground, a historical site from the Sino–Vietnam War where hundreds of Vietnamese soldiers fought and sacrificed their lives in defense of the nation. Continue to the Cao Ba Lanh Temple and the Cao Ba Lanh Obelisk, where national martyrs are honored and remembered.
Get transferred to Khe Tien village. Check in to your stay at a special rammed earth house, a cozy and unique home made from natural materials. Enjoy your relaxing or take a walk around the village for local interaction and sightseeing.
In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner featuring the authentic flavors of Bình Liêu, accompanied by some special homemade rice whiskey.
Then, spend some time chatting with the locals by the fire and, if you wish, enjoy an optional traditional singing performance.
Overnight in your comfort room in a unique rammed earth house.
After breakfast, embark on a trek into the enchanting cinnamon and star anise forests (3km, 1.5 hours, physical level: 2/5). Hike through the peaceful trails, surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature and the refreshing scent of cinnamon and star anise leaves. Enjoy the view of mountains and villages dotted among spectacular terraces fields on hillsides.
After lunch at a local restaurant, head to the border area and set off on a challenging 2 km hike up the mountain to Border Marker No. 1305, famously known as the "Spine of the Dinosaur" of Bình Liêu (4 km round trip – approx. 2.5 hours – difficulty level: 3/5).
Though the trail is steep and demanding, the effort is well rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views from the summit - offering a rare perspective overlooking both Vietnam and China. It's a must-visit for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.

After breakfast, check out of your accommodation.
Option 1: transfer to the Dong Van hill tribe market. (Please note that the main market day is Saturday - on other days, the market is quieter and less crowded).
