In the afternoon, we embark on an intimate 5-6 km trekking journey along pristine trails and quiet roads. We visit a Muong ethnic family in Eo Ken village to discover their authentic, undisturbed way of life. The 4-5 km trek continues through this beautiful landscape, involving an exhilarating crossing of a cool stream to reach Hang Village. This walk is invigorating and deeply rewarding.

After a relaxing lunch back in Mai Chau, we begin our comfortable, 4-hour transfer to Ninh Binh. This drive takes us from the mountain shadows to the dynamic plains of the Red River Delta, setting the stage for the dramatic limestone landscape that awaits you.

Next, meet Mr. Phuoc in Sinh Village, the cradle of 400-year-old folklore prints, where he will explain the techniques of this rare traditional art.

In the afternoon, we drive to the Khai Dinh King’s Tomb. This tomb is an architectural marvel distinguished by its dramatic mixture of oriental and western styles. A challenging hundred-step climb takes you to the worship palace at the summit, where you’ll discover an amazing decoration made of porcelain fragments and a giant ceiling painting. The descent offers a panoramic, rewarding view over the entire complex.
