There are also direct buses from Dien Bien Phu city to Nam Po, with few daily departures.
Traveling to Nam Po by road from Hanoi, take the national road #6 Hanoi – Son La – Dien Bien Phu, following then the provincial road from Dien Bien Phu city to Nam Po. You can also reach this area by following the new highway Hanoi – Lao Cai, then Sapa, Lai Chau and Nam Po. The stretch of road goes uphill and downhill alternately with many sharp bends.
