Trekking Northeast Vietnam 4 Days Itinerary has recently been redesigned by the Hanoi tour operator Hiking Vietnam taking you from Hanoi to Thai Nguyen, Bac Kan, Cho Ra, Ba Be Lakes, Ba Be National Park, Cao Bang, Ban Gioc Waterfalls, Quang Hoa, Quang Uyen. The trip highlights includes a full day trek in the Ba Be national park, through the Ba Be forest and local Tay villages. Taking a boat trip on Ba Be lakes help you know better this nature treasure. Visit Vietnam largest waterfall, Ban Gioc waterfalls and discovery the Nguom Ngao village before driving back to Hanoi.

Day 1: Hanoi – Ba Be National Park.
7.00 AM: you will be met up with our guide, driver at your hotel in Hanoi. You will leave the town following the national road #3. After about two hour drive, you will arrive in Thai Nguyen city where you will make a stop to visit the museum of ethnology. After visiting the museum, you continue the road trip traveling along the national road # 3 via Bac Can to Na Phac and then turn to Cho Ra. Other stop(s) may be made en route for you to enjoy the beautiful landscapes, to picture of the scenery. Lunch will be provided in a local restaurant. After lunch, you will be transferred to the Ba Be lakes boat pier where you will embark on a private boat and spend the rest of the afternoon cruising on the Ba Be lakes. After the boat trip, you will enjoy a short walk to a Tay village where you will have dinner and spend the night in a local stilt house (homestay) for the first day of your North East Vietnam Trekking.

Day 2: Ba Be National Park Trekking.
Breakfast at local home. A full day forest hike through primary forest to the remote H’mong village of Hin Dam. The going is tough through the forest but the views from the top of the top, the pristine forest flora, medicinal plants and the opportunity to visit a remote hill tribe settlement make it a rewarding and memorable experience. Total walking time of around 6 hours. Return to park guesthouse for overnight.

Day 3: Ba Be National Park – Ban Gioc Waterfall – Quang Hoa.
After breakfast, depart early this morning for Cao Bang. On the way, you may want to make a stop en route for a local market (most markets are open based on Lunar Calendar). Arriving in Cao Bang town around early noon. Have early lunch then keep driving to Ban Gioc Waterfalls. Heading out of town, you venture into the remote northern regions of Cao Bang Province. The scenic roads traverse Trung Khanh before arriving at Ban Gioc Waterfalls, which boasts the biggest waterfall in Vietnam. Enjoy a short walk to get closer to the waterfalls. Enjoy the wild beauty of nature, take some picture before getting on your vehicle again for the journey back. Dinner an overnight in Quang Hoa at local home (homestay).

Day 4: Quang Hoa – Hanoi.
After breakfast, you head back to Cao Bang town, then keep driving back to Hanoi. Lunch is provided in a local restaurant en route. Arriving back in Hanoi in late of the afternoon, you will be dropped off at your hotel in town. The end of this 4 day North East Vietnam Trekking.
