Launched on late October 2004, a flotilla of 4 unique, authentic and charming Sampans named "Song Xanh Cruisewas designed for travelers looking for "private" cruise experiences in the Mekong Delta. Each sampan will carry a charming rowing boat ("Xuong"), nicely designed for deeper cruises along small canals and arroyos during the itinerary. Bicycles can also be taken on board (fixed on a rack the back) for exciting "out of the track" countryside rides.

Day1: CAI BE – BINH MINH – TAN QUOI
Meet us at your hotel at 8:00 am and transfer to Cai Be by road. Begin cruising from Phu An Jetty at 10:00 am.
From the sampan, observe life as it plays out on shore – people going about their daily activities set against mesmerising backdrops. En route to Binh Minh, we will stop at various points along the river for a look into some of the cottage industries of the region including the making of coconut candy and puffed rice (the local equivalent of popcorn) including a visit to an ancient house in Dong Hoa Hiep village.
Continue by sampan, observing from your boat the life on the shore, the people, and the stunning landscapes. We will then cross the Co Chien river passing by quaint villages to visit a clay pot factory. Lunch is served on board while cruising towards Binh Minh along a narrow canal teeming with life. Observe the endless boat traffic and the quiet but constant activity along the banks. Enjoy shore excursions to gain insight into how the local people make a living, and stop for a visit to a Cao Dai temple.
Back to your sampan and enjoy the sunset cruise while Song Xanh continues its way towards the Hau River.

Day 2: TAN QUOI – CAI RANG – CAN THO
Wake up early at 6:00 am for a visit to the famous Cai Rang Floating Market which operates daily starting from 5:00 am. Breakfast is served on board while the Song Xanh navigates towards the market among local barges loaded down with fruits and vegetables from the Delta, making for some stunning photos.
Continue cruising towards Victoria Can Tho and disembark at the hotel’s private jetty.

Day1: Can Tho - Sa Dec
Meet at the Victoria Can Tho Resort jetty at 10:00 am. Your crew welcomes you on board your private sampan with cold towels and a refreshing drink. Cruise the waterways of the Mekong Delta, observing villagers going about their daily activities against picturesque landscapes while your attentive crew serves tea and seasonal fruit. Sail past local barges laden with produce from the Delta as you enjoy lunch on board, with the mighty Hau River as a backdrop, one of the two largest arms of the Mekong. Arrive in Sa Dec, step ashore to visit the Kien An Cung, ancient Chinese architecture has played an important part in the Chinese community in Dong Thap for nearly a hundred years. Day2: Sa Dec - Cai Be
Begin cruising in the early morning hours at about 6:30 am, just as the villages begin to stir and children get ready for school. After a leisurely breakfast on board, our first shore excursion visits a colorful Cao Dai temple and a small brick factory. Arriving at Cai Be, step ashore to visit local cottage industries that utilize products from the Delta like rice and coconuts to make tasty snacks including puffed rice and chewy coconut candy. Board the local row boat to better explore the Tan Phong islet. Our cruise ends at Le Longanier Restaurant. Lunch is served in this exquisite riverside colonial-style villa set in lush tropical gardens and surrounded by fruit plantations, a throwback to the elegant lifestyle enjoyed by a privileged few in Indochinese times

Day 1: CAI BE - NHA MAN
Be picked up at your hotel at 8:00 am and transfer to Cai Be by road. Meet us at Phu An Jetty at 10:00 am and start with a bicycle ride around this picturesque rural area, ending up at Le Longanier Restaurant.
Lunch is served in this exquisite colonial-style villa set in a lush tropical garden by the river. After lunch, board the Song Xanh Sampan for a leisurely cruise on the busy waterways of the Mekong Delta, with stops along the way to visit an ancient house in Dong Hoa Hiep village and local cottage industries that utilize products from the Delta like rice and coconuts.
As we make our way down this famous river take in the local life as you pass by fisher folk checking their daily catch and floating houses imperceivably balanced on the mighty Mekong. Tonight, dinner is served on board the vessel.

Day 2: NHA MAN – CAI TAU HA – VINH LONG
After breakfast on board, cruise towards Vinh Long along a narrow river, passing several houses on stilts to arrive at Cai Tau Ha, a quaint village. Take a stroll along the riverbank to visit a temple which makes traditional medicine from herbs or walk further into the village to see how black-smiths make a variety of common farming tools and iron objects for everyday life.
Lunch is then served back on board before we make another foray into a clay pot factory in Vinh long. We will then head back to our sampan to further explore the small tributaries of the river.
The last stopover before sunset is a charming outdoor market where you can see how people sell local materials such as agricultural products, farming tools and fishing tools.
Observe the endless boat traffic and the quiet but constant activity along the banks. Enjoy shore excursions to gain insight into how the local people make a living, and stop for a visit to a Cao Dai temple.
Return on board for dinner while the Song Xanh continues its cruise towards the Hau River. Overnight on board.

Day 3: VINH LONG – CAI RANG – CAN THO
We set off early at about 6:30 am to visit the famous Cai Rang Floating Market. Breakfast is served on board while the Song Xanh navigates towards the market among local barges laden with fruit and vegetables. Be sure to have your camera ready for photos from this unique vantage point! Later on, cruise towards Victoria Can Tho and disembark at the hotel’s private jetty.

After lunch, start your leisurely cruise on the Delta’s beautiful waterways, with stops along the way to explore local cottage industries that provide a living for the river people. Board the local row boat to better explore the Tan Phong islet.
Before arriving at Sa Dec, visit a traditional brick factory where everything is made by hand. Arriving at Sa Dec, step ashore and stroll to the outdoor market. Visit the Kien An Cung, ancient Chinese architecture has played an important part in the Chinese community in Dong Thap for nearly a hundred years. Dinner is served on board. Enjoy your first night on board the Song Xanh on the Mekong River.

Day 2: SA DEC - LONG XUYEN - PHU TAN
Breakfast is served on board while you cruise towards Long Xuyen along a narrow canal, passing several
scenic monkey bridges.

After enjoying lunch on board, arrive in Long Xuyen to visit Tiger Island, birthplace of Vietnam’s second
president. Return to the sampan for dinner and resume your cruise towards Chau Doc. Your boat sails until
approximately 10:00 pm before anchoring for the night.
Overnight on board.

Day 3: PHU TAN - CHAU DOC
Breakfast is served on board while your sampan cruises towards Chau Doc. Close to the border with Cambodia, Chau Doc is the gateway to Phnom Penh. Known throughout Vietnam for its pagodas and temples, Chau Doc is also famous for the Tra Su Bird Sanctuary, a superb eucalyptus mangrove. After enjoying lunch on board, arrive at Long Xuyen to visit Tiger Island, birthplace of Vietnam’s second president. Return to the sampan for dinner and resume your cruise towards Rach Gia. Enjoy your second night on board.

Day 3: RACH GIA
Arrive in Rach Gia at around 7:00 am, the capital of Kien Giang Province, located on the coast of the Gulf of Thailand. Breakfast is served on board before disembarkation. For travelers traveling early to Phu Quoc, we can serve breakfast as early as 6:00 am.

Four 3-room yachts and three 2-room air-conditioned yachts, serving 3 days 2 nights or 2 days 1 night cruises to Can Tho, Chau Doc or Rach Gia. On board, two spacious spaces of 15sqm each are equipped with beautiful bamboo and rattan furniture, creating a very charming atmosphere. A very attentive service is provided by a team of 4 crew members".
