Sapa 2 Days Tour from Hanoi includes 2 full days in Sapa and 2 nights on board train Hanoi – Laocai – Hanoi. If you would prefer hiring a private car, you need to plan one or two more days for the car transfer which takes around 8 hours per way from Hanoi to Sapa or vice versa. The two day treks take you to such villages as Cat Cat, Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai, Ta Van, Giang Ta Chai, Mong Sen, Ta Phin where you meet up with different ethnic groups including the Giay, the H’mong and the Red Dzao. This is a good option we customize for those who used to stay in comfortable hotels but would like to explore the rich ethnic culture and beautiful nature.

Night 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai.
You will be met up at your hotel in Hanoi by Hiking Vietnam team and transferred to Hanoi Railway Station. Take the night train to Laocai. Train ??? Departure at ???. Overnight on the train.

Day 1: Lao Cai – Sapa.
Arrive Laocai early this morning. Travel to Sapa. Follow a road going downhill to Cat Cat village. You will stop by a waterfall and a hydroelectric station for a while before continuing the trek on a dirt trail through rice paddy terraces. You also will enjoy spectacular scenery while walking along a narrow river. You eventually arrive in Y Linh Ho village of Black Hmong minority, where you can take a rest while you are served lunch nearby the river. After lunch, you head toward Muong Hoa valley. You will pass through Lao Chai village of Black Hmong minority and then Tavan village of Giay minority by following a very popular trekking route. You will return Sapa from Tavan by car. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 2: Sapa – Lao Cai – Hanoi.
Met up at your hotel in Sapa by Hiking Vietnam guide, driver then travel by car downhill to Mong Sen where we will begin a dirt trail through rice fields and villages. Enjoy spectacular view along the way. Your picnic lunch will be provided on spot. After lunch, we continue our trek downhill towards Taphin village inhabited by ed Dao and Black Hmong minorities. These are two largest ethnic groups living in Sapa area. Stop by some house to meet local people and talk with them to understand their culture, customs and traditions. Late afternoon, we will trek back to to main road to get on our vehicle for the journey back to Sapa. End tour.
