Located along the Sa Dec River, the Sa Dec city, bearing the same name, is a stopover for all travelers on their trip to the Mekong Delta.
This charming city is at the origin of the film "The Lover", based on the semi-autobiographical novel of the French writer: Marguerite Duras. You can visit the old house of Huynh Thuy Le as well as the high school where the mother of Marguerite was a teacher. You can also visit the magnificent Temple of Kien An. On arrival, you can admire the houses with French architecture dating from the colonial era. Next to the ancient buildings, colonial architecture, Tan Qui Dong flower garden gives you another aspect of Sa Dec, a multicolored Sa Dec. With an area of about 60 ha and a variety of flowers and ornamental plants especially roses are planted (50 varieties of roses with several colors from red, pink, yellow ... to purple), it is one of the largest flower gardens in the South.
