Greetings from Vietnam. When you arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, a driver and guide from Golden Trail Travel will meet you and take you to the hotel located in the center of Hanoi. Hanoi, the historic and vibrant capital of Vietnam, is home to some of Asia's most remarkable colonial buildings as well as a distinct old world charm. Following check-in, unwind on your own while discussing the schedule for the next few days with our guide. Take a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter's busy streets to explore Hanoi's blend of modern and historical charm. You will be greeted with a special welcome meal at a traditional Vietnamese restaurant following the trip. Day 2: Hanoi – Mai Chau
We take a bus to drive Southwest in Luong Son after leaving the busy city behind and thoroughly recharging in the hotel. Luong Son is the entry point to the breathtakingly beautiful mountainous region of northern Vietnam. We begin our journey there by riding a smooth asphalt road that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, valleys, rice paddies, and sugarcane fields. On the way, we would stop for relaxation and lunch at a nearby restaurant. Following lunch, we make a quick transfer to the foot of Thung Khe Pass before beginning our 34-kilometer ride along the Da River's bank. Along the way, you will see breathtaking scenery dotted with Muong and Thai villages under the shade of trees. You will also make an impression on young schoolchildren and buffalor, who will say "Hello" to you as you return home. We stop for a quick snack or Kodak moment before making our way down to Mai Chau village. After riding to Lac village for tonight's homestay, we arrive at Mai Chau late in the afternoon. Day 3: Mai Chau –Pu Luong Retreat
Embracing the breathtaking natural splendor of Mai Chau Valley while riding through Thai and Muong communities nestled amongst rice terraces. We leave early to cycle from Homestay along the mixed single-track pathways that connect the towns; in the morning, the villages are quite quiet! And how did they manage to live here for a century? As we ride through the heart of the villages and stop to chat with some of the locals, you can discover the solution.Before traveling the back road to Hang Village, we stop for lunch in Sam Khoe Village. We go through the Pu Luong Nature Reserve in an ascending manner, stopping to take in the breath-taking landscape, limestone outcrops, and panoramic views of Pu Luong. After arriving, we enjoy cold beers and soft beverages while taking a shower. After a filling breakfast, we depart early from Retreat to ride the back roads to Pho Doan, the township of Pu Luong Natural Reserve. If we're lucky, we might be able to stop and take pictures at the vibrant tribal market before crossing the bridge. We then ride the Nature Reserver corridor path through sugarcane fields and corn farms that are interspersed with the villages of the Thai and Muong Tribes, leading to Cam Luong, where we are rewarded with breathtaking scenery and the company of amiable locals. At midday, we arrive at the Ho Chi Minh Trail. lunch in a neighborhood eatery in Kim Tan Town, We ride 45 km more after lunch on a combination of smooth single track and rolling trails. Day 6: Cuc Phuong – Tam Coc
Our minibus transports us into the heart of the forest after breakfast. We will pedal from the park's center via paths shaded by trees and through a primitive rainforest, taking us all the way to the national park's gate without any tourists. We visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Center after stopping for refreshments. The bicycle tour continues to Dong Giao, a pineapple plantation where you may purchase fresh pineapple on the side roads from nearby farmers. We ride out of the plantation to Tam Diep Township and then make our lunch transfer to Tam Coc. After lunch, we go to the Bich Dong Nature Reserve over breathtaking limestone mountains that rise magnificently from verdant rice farms and streams. On board, the day begins early with a Tai Chi class on the sundeck. Slow, soft motions are combined with deep breathing and relaxation in tai chi, also known as tai chi chuan.Breakfast is served in the dining area, which has a view of the bay in the morning, along with coffee, tea, and pastries.Transport to Sung Sot Cave by tender. To reach the cave entrance, climb around 100 steps. A visit to a cave takes about forty-five minutes. Explore Sung Sot Cave, one of Halong Bay's largest caves with stunning stalactites and stalagmites. Take a tender back to the boat. Appropriate footwear is strongly advised.Return to Halong Bay Cruise. At reception, check out and pay for your purchase. After breakfast, you'll service the bike and ride leizurely to discover the architecture of the Imperial Citadel, the Royal Tomb, and Hue City.One of Vietnam's principal hubs for culture, religion, and education is Hue. Hue is currently the only historically significant city in Vietnam still standing. The 11km-long Perfume River, which goes by the romantic moniker of "Perfume," is home to many of Hue's attractions. More than a hundred architectural pieces, reflecting the lives of emperors and mandarins under Nguyen's rule, are included in this priceless masterpiece. We also take a ride to see the ancient kings' graves. The exquisite graves of the Nguyen Kings are located on the southern bank of the Perfume River, nestled between the hills. These include the four well-known tombs, each of whose name and layout reflects the opinions, characteristics, and preferences of the respective Emperor. These are the spectacular Khai Dinh tomb, the massive Minh Mang tomb, the poetic Tu Duc tomb, and the grand Gia Long tomb. Hue's ancient citadel remnants are too important to overlook for any architect interested in learning about Vietnam's ancient architecture. In the late afternoon, we return by bicycle to the hotel and are free until dinnertime. Day 10: Hue – Lang Co Beach
We begin the day with a leisurely breakfast at the hotel before riding to the Thanh Toan covered roof bridge. Along the way, you'll be treated to stunning views of both imperial cities and rural villages. The typical view of community housing, local marketplaces, and traditional Vietnamese homes will pique your attention. You stand a strong probability of interacting with amiable individuals. When you arrive in Thanh Toan Village, take some time to explore and snap pictures of the amazing covered roof bridge, which was constructed in 1776 by a generous-hearted woman. Our bicycle tours proceed by passing through bucolic towns, a lagoon, and Thuan An Beach. We have a full day ahead of us filled with energy and water before taking on the spectacular Hai Van Pass. Commence riding from the hotel, bear left onto Highway No. 1, and ascend 13 km to the summit. You will be rewarded with beautiful landscapes, clouds, and the ocean along the way. Enjoy breathtaking views of Da Nang and Lang Co from the summits.After reaching the peak. You have access to tropical fruit, cold water, and a snack. After taking a photo and rehydrating, ride along the coast for 12 km to Da Nang City, passing resort complexes with enticing white sand beaches, and arriving at Hoi An Town. Spend some time taking this amazing picture of the Japanese covered bridge and communal homes. then on to the ancient ceramic villages of Thanh Ha, the herb hamlet of Tra Que, and the workshops of Thuy Linh Lattern lamp shades before returning to Hoi An for lunch. After saying goodbye to the quaint town, we rode over a dirt road from Resort to Duy Hai village, where we crossed a new bridge and rode by other fishing towns along the coast until we reached Ha Lam town, where we took a bus to Tam Ky town for lunch. We ride to the My Lai Massacre, which is now a museum of the War Remnants in Quang Ngai province, after lunch. We drive to Chi Thanh Town.
