Day 1: Welcome to Cambodia!

Flight: International flight on your own arrangement or on requests.

Arrive in Siem Reap where you will explore world heritage landmarks. Upon arrival at the airport, our guide will greet you and escort you to your hotel. He’ll assist you with check in and then you’ll receive a short tour briefing in the lobby area. The rest of the day/evening is at your leisure.

Additional optional activities may be arranged this day depending on the arrival time of your flight.

Day 2: Uncover Angkor Temples

Meals: B / L

Rise up early in the morning. You will be escorted by a 1930s Citroen classic car through the jungles and the Angkor temple ruins. Feel free to stop for pictures on the way. Then visit Ta Prohm Ancient University which is worn by time, rain and overpowered by the jungle. This hidden temple will leave you feeling like you’ve stepped into the set of an Indiana Jones movie. Return to your hotel for breakfast and relaxation (Our comfortable sedan/passenger van will pick you up after your visit to Ta Prohm).

After lunch, your exploits will continue with a visit to Angkor Thom and the temples throughout. Last, you will explore Bayon Temple which sets itself apart with its almost 200 smiling faces. Enjoy sunset on Pre Rup Temple.

Day 3: Explore Banteay Srei: Citadel of Women and Beng Mealea Ruins

Meals: B / L

In the morning, you will visit the Banteay Srei Temple which is built largely of red sandstone, medium that lends itself to the elaborate decorative wall carvings which are still observable today. Have lunch at a traditional Khmer style restaurant in a dragon fruit orchard nearby. Continue to visit Beng Mealea Temple in the afternoon. This temple was built in the early 12th century but has been abandoned for ages. It has not been restored allowing you to see it in much the same way it was originally discovered.

Day 4: The Crowning Gem of Southeast Asia—Angkor Wat.

Today, be prepared to enjoy the #1 Landmark in the World: Angkor Wat*. We recommend you rise up early for a magnificent sunrise followed by a visit to the temple while it is still quiet. You may also arrange with us a picnic breakfast behind the temple in an area relatively undiscovered by tourists.

Continue visiting temples in the morning if you have the energy or transfer back to the hotel for relaxation.

In the afternoon, it’s time to enjoy a natural wonder by boat to Southeast Asia’s largest fresh water lake—The Tonle Sap. Here you’ll discover floating villages and the daily life of locals living on the lake much in the same way they have for many centuries.

Day 5: Cambodian Life and Art Immersion

Visit the Old Market in the morning where locals come daily to buy and sell food and products for their livelihood. This colorful market features local produce, meats, fish, rice, legumes, Khmer desserts, and, of course, Cambodian style coffee. Then join a cooking class with the most popular Cambodian cuisine where you’ll take back a few recipes which you can show off to your friends. For lunch, enjoy what you’ve prepared.

Continue to visit Artisans D’Angkor, a school of art dedicated to the preservation of traditional Khmer skills including silk-weaving, stone carving, woodcarving, etc. Afternoon is at leisure to relax.

In the evening, enjoy a beautiful Cambodian traditional dance—Dance of Apsara – while trying several courses of Cambodian dishes.

Day 6: Arrive in Yangon

Flight: International flight on your own arrangement or on requests.

Welcome to Myanmar, the country just opened itself to the world and now waiting people to discover its unique Buddhist culture and heritage.

Upon your arrival in Yangon, the former capital of Myanmar but nowadays one of the most developed city in Myanmar, your local guide will welcome you at the airport then escort you to hotel.

Day 7: Full Day Yangon City Tour

Meals: B / L

Rise early in the morning to visit the Shwedagon Pagoda which is the largest pagoda with painted real gold in Yangon. Benefit for visit the pagoda in early morning you will enjoy an quiet and extremely peaceful atmosphere to watch local people and monks pray in front of the Pagoda.

Transfer back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast you will visit the Reclining Buddha (Chaok-Htat-Gyi) and Mahabandoola Park.

Have some rest after lunch, in the afternoon, enjoy some free time wander around in Bogyoke Market and the then Bogyoke Market busy treets of Yangon’s famous China Town and Yangon Jetty. Finish your day off at the riverside where the road flanked by colonize style builds which will give you the impression of Myanmar in old time.

Day 8: Yangon – Bagan, Full day awesome temple tour

Flight: domestic flight on GTT arrangement.

Transfer to airport for domestic flight to Bagan in early morning.

Upon arrival in Bagan, you will be welcomed by your local guide at the airport then transfer you to hotel.

Bagan, where you will be amazed by its thousands of Buddhists pagodas spread in the area of the Ancient City of ‘Bagan’. These pagodas used to own by individual families during its prosperous time.

Your will visit the Nyaung Oo Market where local people buying food in daily life, visit the Shwezigon Pagoda which is the largest pagoda in Bagan painted with real gold.

Have a rest in hotel in the hottest time in afternoon. Then enjoy a Horse Cart Ride for the sun set, you will climb up to the top of the Shesandaw Pagoda for sun set then take the horse cart back to hotel. It is a unforgettable feeling of taking the horse cart ride on the off road treks through the pagodas when its quiet in dusk.

Day 9: Flight to Heho, Inle Lake

Flight: domestic flight on GTT arrangement.

Meals: B / L

Transfer to airport for onward flight to Heho where you will be picked up and transfer you to your hotel by the lakeside of Inle Lake.

Inle Lake locates in the highland of Myanmar in an altitude of around 3,000 feet above sea level.  Here you will enjoy different atmosphere and ambience from middle part of Myanmar.

After check in hotel, enjoy your day at leisure to relax.

Day 10: Full Day Inle Lake Excursion

Meals: B / L

Your Excursion today will be made by long tail boat to see life of In-tha (name of local ethnic people live on the lake), to discover their unique floating farms and life on floating village. You will also see how the local fisher to fish with only one leg paddling the boat and the Long Neck Ladies who were relocated from the Myanmar and Thailand border.

Rest of the day is at leisure to relax. 

Day 11: Flight to Mandalay, Half Day Mandalay City Tour

Flight: Domestic flight is on GTT arrangement

Enjoy free time in the morning until transfer to airport for onward flight to Mandalay. Upon you arrive in Mandalay, you local guide will meet you in the airport and escort you to hotel.

After a rest in the hotel, you will visit Mahamuni Image where you will see local people pray and stick gold paper on the Buddha for blessing. You can also try to make your wish and donate money (buy) for gold paper to stick the gold paper on the statue (only man allowed to stick the gold). On the way to the Mahamuni Image, you will visit a gold paper factory to see how people made the gold leaf. Visit the Shwenandaw Monastery which means ‘Golden Palace Monastery” and was built in 19th century and well known for its teak carving of Buddhist myths. Visit the Kuthodaw Pagoda which is a Buddhist stupa that contains the world’s largest book of Buddhism.

Finish your day at the top of Mandalay Hill for a stunning sun set.

Day 12: Arrive in Vientiane

Flight: International flight on your own arrangement or on requests.

Your Indochina tour in Laos will start from its capital Vientiane.

Day 13: Full Day Vientiane City Tour

Vientiane, the charming capital city of Laos with rich heritage of Buddhist culture, is waiting for you to discover.

You full day city tour will take you to visit the highlights of Vientiane. Your will firstly get to know some more history of Laos by visiting the National Museum, then visit the temple Wat Sisaket which is the oldest surviving temple with thousands of Buddhist images. Day 14: Flight to Luang Prabang

Day 15: Kuang Si Waterfalls and Half Day Luang Prabang City Tour

Luang Prabang, the city surrounded by Mekong River and well known for its golden city is well known for its beautiful decorated Buddhist temples, it is a place that you will keep appearing in your mind for long time after your Indochina tour.

Your memorable trip will starts from partaking in an alms ritual in the morning, you will accepts the blessing by monks who you give the alms. Have breakfast in the hotel and then start the half day excursion to Kuang Si Waterfalls, where you will enjoy beautiful natural scenery, have fun in waterfalls and relax.

Drive back to the town for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Wat Xiengthong which is symbolic temple of the classic Laotian architecture, visit the Royal Palace Musem to learn some history of Laos. Then visit the Wat Aham Temple which means “Monastery of the Opened Heart” and the Stupa of Wat Visoun.

Day 16: Pak Ou Cave—the Thousands Buddha Cave

Today you will embark on a private boat for a 2 hours boat trip along the Mekong River to the Pak Ou Cave. Along the boat trip, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery along the Mekong River and see daily life of local people in riverside fishing village.

Visit the Pak Ou Cave which locates by the Mekong River and you will discover numbers of gold-lacquered Buddha statues in the cave. After visiting, take the boat back to Luang Prabang and rest of the day at your leisure.
