Phong Nha Trek 1 Day La Ken Valley is a day tour we arrange in Phong Nha, Quang Binh. In La Ken Valley there are a lot of Asian Melastome flower which the locals call “La Ken”. The valley is located near Tan Hoa village, Minh Hoa District, Quang Binh Province. It is about 70km North West of Phong Nha.

The tour is designed as an easy 1 day trek. You will have the chance to experience the local culture of the Nguon minority people, explore the valley surrounded by limestone mountains, visit untouched caves such as Hang Chuot (Rat Cave) and Gibbon Cave, cross shallow rivers and trek through primary forest. This tour promises an interesting journey for families and casual hikers.This day tour includes such highlights as Primary forest; Hang Chuot Cave; La Ken valley; Gibbon Cave (or hung Ton cave).

Phong Nha trek itinerary

Depart from Phong Nha to Tan Hoa Village.
Arrive at trekking point at Tan Hoa and start trekking through Hang Chuot to reach La Ken valley.
Arrive at La Ken river, relax and have lunch.
Trek through the jungle to Visit Gibbon cave or hung Ton cave.
Trek back to Tan Hoa Village; car or jeep pick up to Phong Nha.
Arrive Phong Nha, tour ends.
