Day 1: Hanoi – Nghia Lo. ~180 km, ~6 h.
Today is the first day of this long 5 days Roof Roads motorbike tour. Before starting to ride, we will have a short briefing to let you know about the rules. In addition, the guide will show you how to understand him by his body language. We start around 9.30am after the rush hour.
This is, in fact, an easy ride on sealed roads. You ride through rural areas with a beautiful rice field along the road. After lunch, we head up the main range with wonderful passes and turns to Ba Khe and then Nghia Lo. Between ba Khe and Nghia Lo, you will find some terraced rice paddies.

Day 2: Nghia Lo – Than Uyen. ~140 km, ~6 h.
In general, today we ride on wild and bumpy roads. We go through the Mu Cang Chai massif, almost as high as the Fansipan. From the top, we have one of the most beautiful views of Northern Vietnam. During the harvest of rice (September/October), you will have some of the best views of the yellow rice fields. Once in Than Uyen, we can go around visiting villages surrounding.

Day 3: Than Uyen – Sapa. ~140 km, ~5 h.
Walk/ stroll in the morning. In fact, the area of Than Uyen is mainly populated by Flower H’mong and Dzao people. Then ride direction Sapa. Easy track for 100 km and asphalted mountainous road for the last 40 km. We can stay in Sapa or if we feel going further and the weather is nice, we can keep riding until Muong Hum where we stay with Giay people. 40 km of dirt road. Beautiful riding.

Day 4: Sapa – Luc Yen. ~180 km, ~6 h.
We start riding down to Lao Cai and then we go to Thac Ba lake. Until Luc Yen, the road is easy and asphalted. Next, a secondary road along to Luc Yen, Dzao, and Tay territory where we stay with our host family. The man is a Tay that lives in the heart of a Dzao village.

Day 5: Luc Yen – Vu Linh – Hanoi. ~180 km, ~6 h. End of Long 5 Days Roof Roads Motorbike Tour.
Ride on a small road through palm trees alongside Thac Ba Lake to Vu Linh. Come back to Hanoi via Son Tay. You ride mainly on roads and easy tracks.
We arrive in Hanoi between 3 and 4pm, before rush hours.
